Blar (v. 3.30) Разработано Bitwrit |
Blar is a client for NewsBlur (an awesome web based RSS feed reader). It's simple and clean, allowing you to easily read your feeds on your Android device while syncing read and saved items with NewsBlur.
Supports intelligence filtering, too.
By default, only unread items are shown. This can be changed in the preferences menu.
This app is open source. You can find the source at code.harrism.com, though distribution of APKs is prohibited.

[2013-01-04] A Google User: ??? Installed. Tried to open. Asks for login & password. Hmmm? I don't have one and there's no way to establish one. |
[2012-10-23] A Google User: Incorrect login It keeps telling me 'incorrect login' even though I know it's not. |
[2012-10-11] A Google User: Getting better Still have to mark a lot of items as read twice. More stable. Hoping another update will be out shortly |
[2012-09-24] A Google User: No social? Without social sharing I might as well use Google Reader. |
[2012-08-17] A Google User: Love it Great reliable app. Can't wait to see support for social/sharing added. |
[2012-07-31] A Google User: No offline mode? Doesn't seem to allow offline reading. |
[2012-07-22] A Google User: Excellent Works as expected, design is decent and is sufficiently integrated into ICS! I'm happy that there is a Newsblur app at all, but this one is good and open source! 5 stars. |
[2012-07-10] A Google User: Issues with slow networks Tends to lose feed list when connecting through a slow connection. |
[2012-06-19] A Google User: Promising but not yet really useful When an article has a "read more" link there is no way to get to the full article. This makes the app useless for those feeds. A web view like greader has would be one way of handling that |
[2012-06-10] A Google User: Flawed Even after updates, clicking story titles often just hangs at a black screen rather than opening the browser. So buggy. |
[2012-06-02] A Google User: Glad to have it Newsblur is the only real alternative to Google Reader, and this is the only way to use it on Android. I thank the developer. Update: new version much more stable, adds good features. Improving quickly! |
[2012-05-30] A Google User: Useful feed reader No nonsense simple app, works great after the last update |
[2012-05-30] A Google User: Better after last update |
[2012-05-13] A Google User: No match to newsblur website |
[2012-03-13] A Google User: This is a good basic android app for Newsblur Its useful and certainly better then the mobile site of Newsblur. I would like to be able to swipe to the next item instead to have to press next or previous - this would be enough in order to earn the 5th star from me. :-) |

[2011-12-15] A Google User: Nicer than Reader The new Google Reader interface finally prompted me to look elsewhere... NewsBlur! The Blar android app for NewsBlur is a great, in fact it's better than the equivalent Reader app. Works really well on my HTC Desire HD and syncs with my NewsBlur page. |

[2011-11-30] A Google User: Ok It's ok and pretty, but basic. Would prefer to see a litle content preview, not just the title of posts. Does not adapt to tablet sized displays. |

[2011-11-18] A Google User: Google Reader replacement Works well enough for me. I'm off google reader for good, Newsblur is only going to get better. |

[2011-09-10] A Google User: Too basic I've been looking for a good NewsBlur app, but this one is just too basic, and buggy. It keeps telling me I don't have a premium account when I do. There are no ways to mark articles as read except for drilling down into it, and no way to mark multiple items as read. No way to get lists of articles by folder, just by individual feed. Needs a lot of work, especially to charge for the app. |
