Not so great update With recent update difficult to get an overview : too many colors and boxes. For example impossible to see instantly if it will rain or not. Also missing options to switch off certain elements like wave, stars, gusts, pressure...

Glad to install it I didn't want to install the app as I generally us the website, but it's a bit more user friendly than the site so I'm keeping it. HTC sensation ics, with no touch screen problems or fav problems. I didn't really want to sign up to the web page but such is life if I wanted this ap.

Great Information, Horrible User Interface Great wind data - one of my favorite sites!!! I Love that there is an Android app available, but the UI is horrible. It's not intuitive at all. You side swipe to move from the forecast to the map and you vertical swipe to scroll across the timeline - doesn't make sense at all. Also, once on the map, it's touchy trying to side-swipe back to the forecast. Also, the forecast displayed is the GFS which doesn't have the resolution of the other forecasting models. The other models are in the app, but accessing them is confusing (you have to press menu, then favorites, then double tap on the GFS forecast). In addition, some of the best features of the website have been left out. I'd personally love to see the graphical display available like on the the web site. These are a beautiful way to display the wind forecast. I'd also really love to have access to the wind-altitude charts through the app. This app has tons of potential, but would really benefit from UI overhaul. Then you'd be getting 5 star reviews from all the wind junkies! If you put these features in, I'd pay $5, or maybe even $10 for the app.

The UI is terrible!!! Since I have my android phone I am looking for a good WindGuru application. This one is useless, I prefer opening the website on the phone.
