Better than Weather Channel Weather Channel app has never worked right for me over 2 devices in 2 years. In fact, most of the national Weather apps put me off. So I went looking for a local replacement, and this one seems to be the best of what GB news apps have to offer. I had to turn off the constant taskbar temp reminders in the settings though. Not a fan of apps sucking my battery dry or bothering me when I'm not asking for info.

Necessity answered ... It's not just the perfect localized weather app.. but it's also so detailed on the severity of mapped storm systems, giving you the comprehension of of intensity, along with early warning, too! The must-have!

Enough alerts already! Do I really, REALLY, need to be alerted 10 times per hour about tonights possible frost? Heaven's sakes, it is Wisconsin in spring! Why isn't there a feature to acknowledge the alert then shut it up for 12 to 24 hours? Perhaps this app is made by the same people that asks your kids; "Are we there yet?!" Otherwise, a great app. {Samsung Galaxy S2 / Sprint}

Perfect This is by far the best radar app that I have found. Seems to be very accurate which is very important while im out storm spotting.
