Snowstorm weather widget (v. 2.5.119)

Snowstorm, weather widget.

Snowstorm works as both an application and as a widget. Can display forecasts for hardcoded locations, or for your current location.

Fully skinnable, and has many configuration options.

Press menu in forecast view to see options/skins.

Make sure "Settings > Security&location > Use wireless networks is turned on" or "Setting > locations > use wireless locations" for network locations to work. Snowstorm will otherwise not be able to detect your location, and you'll see an error message in the report.

Create an exclusion rule for Snowstorm if you are using a Task Killer

Amazing! I've been looking for nice and, first of all, dependable weather application. On my PC I used for many years Yahoo Widgets, now I depend on Rainmeter's widget witch downloads forecasts from Weather Channel website. IIt's very precise. I thought that Google Weather/Accuweather would be the same but really soon it turned out that for my town they are completely inaccurate. On the Android Market I found only a few apps which uses Weather Channel data... but on the one of internet forums poepole recommended me snowstorm... It's brilliant! It looks great, offers a lot of beautiful skins in many different styles and, what's the most important, it's accurate! Both Google and Accuweather showed for example that today weather conditions in my town was good and that there was "partly cloudy", and temperature shoud rise up to 6 degrees C! ... Yup... Only yr.no and weather channel correctly indicated at drizzle and 4 degree C. Great, nice, accurate.

Doesn't automatically update / refreash I have the update frequency set to 30 min in the global settings but it doesn't seem to matter. I have to make a manual refresh in order to get the latest stats, thats a downer :( Otherwise a nice app.

Favorite weather widget By far my favorite. Quick suggestion: it would be great if the widget only showed 'a' or 'p' after the time instead of 'am' or 'pm'. That way it would appear a little less crowded. Perhaps this can be an option?

Simply the best weather widget Shows the perfect amount of accurate data at a glance, rather than simply displaying an ultra hi-res image of a cloud and not a lot else, as most weather widgets do. That's not to say it doesn't look attractive - it does. One touch and it shows hourly weather for the next five days. Just perfect. I wish the developer luck with the big update - sounds like it will permit larger widgets for tablets, which would be great.

Xperia Ray Utilised 50% of battery on my phone, updating every couple of hours, temperature always out by 5-6 degrees. Had to remove in end shame as good widget

3 dot menu button on bottom of app On my HTC one s there is a 3 dot menu button on the bottom of the app, there is no need for this so remove it as you have the menu button in the proper place on the top right of the app. 1 star until this is sorted out.

Best weather widget so far I've had this app running for months now and use it daily, and its great, gives me enough info for a quick glance on the 4x2 widget, and good detail on the extended forecast. I've tried other weather apps people have recommended, but always come back to this one

say what? Make sure you havent installed this on your SD card. I have my market Downloads set to install on SD auto. and the widget wont work that way

Love the look, but won't update I got this app to look beautiful, but it refuses to update. Tried changing "Use YR URL" to on and off, no difference. Stuck at 30F which is about 15 degrees off.
