VERY Poor update The app is now slow to respond. When you hit the back button, it should go back and not hesitate before doing so. The news timeline is good except that you need to scroll to where you were at each time you back up from watching a clip. At least with the previous version, you were at the same location after each clip. First the web site and now the app. Newsy takes a good thing and screw it up!

Newsy used to be my best app but now since they updated is very difficult to get around on my phone you so I can flip through the news pictures now its not letting me do that because of that I have to delete it and find another video news app Maybe if they change how to flip the videos to choose one that you want without going through all them I love the old system better where you can see what news you want to watch especially when you're using your cell phone.

I have finally given this app another chance My previous "unuseable" review was accurate at the time as the layout for tablets made the app essentially unusable. All of the issues have been not only resolved but have been improved beyond my expectations. Wonderful job, Newsy!

Great News App I love this app. They could change the interface a little but its my favorite news app. It is a must have if you want stay up to date with news. Great news. Good interface , but not quite This is my go - to news source due to its high quality and multiple views... And a new interface in this update after forever and a day. Simple and easy to use. But it's buggy and crashes a lot! ... Hopefully fixes are coming soon! And landscape view should go auto fullscreen. With those fixed, 5 star for sure!

Continuous playback now supported! Wow they finally implemented this awesome feature. News videos play continuously without any babysitting required of the user. Updating my rating from 2 to 5 stars :D There are still bugs with the video player that need to be worked out, but I can live with them.

No resume. The videos stop about half way with an "unable to play video" error pop up. When I press ok, there is no way to resume. I don't believe it's my connection but even if it is, a resume is needed. This is useless in its current state. Also, I only get a landscape carousel view. I hope you have a thumb grid or something on the way. I like your news on the iPad but this is a horrible interface imo.

Love the content, dislike the app Newsy reporters are engaging and personable. The reports, mostly, are well done and well rehearsed. However, the app itself is designed for a 3-3.5" screen, which makes viewing on a larger device poor. Kind of like watching standard def, square broadcasts on an HDTV. Clean up the app, guys and I'll be happy to clean up my comment.

Unable to view play button no options When my bionic updated the newsy app increased by double size. The play button is off the screen and no way to get to it. Newsy app has no options too resize. It's a shame it was one of my favorite apps.

In reference to "no clue programmers" This app has worked seamlessly for the entire time it has been up and running. it most likely was designed for phone screens. it was usable until they change the resolution now the screen is too big for phones and no longer works. I surely hope they did not make resolution changes based on 1 persons complaint of no clue programmers. Still a 5 star app just waiting for them to go back to original size. No one I know who's use to use the program can after the latest update.
