Awful Cuts out every three minutes, skips a lot, sometimes you hear multiple versions of same voice which makes it inaudible and then finally it crashes every five minutes at the very least. Whoever developed this one is the same developer for todayfm, its exactly the same in terms of performance. I love the station however their app has cost them me as a listener and many more that I known of.

So poor I've tried this on a number of devices and the stability and quality of the audio feed is appalling. It's not at all surprising really considering it is almost 2 years since the app was updated. I listen to this station every day and am very disappointment that such little attention is given to this part of their online presence.

ADVERTISERS BEWARE - They couldn't care less ! They know - for more than a year now that the App is sh*t.....formal complaint resulted in plenty of email- zero end result. All the promises about how they wound fix the issues + how they valued their customers (they mistakenly meant their advertisers- not their listeners). Pathetic customer service to both...... ADVERTISERS BEWARE - giving them business when they show 2 fingers to a considerable community (Android etc.) Pathetic.

Unreliable I loved the version for the Iphone 1 but this is terrible plus the news tab creates a 404 error - I just listen to the station On my Xperia S android radio app! My suggestion is pull this and release a decent app that gives your radio station the credit it deserves :-)

Absolute stink Start up takes ages. If mobile signal lost (which happens, thats mobile life here in Melbourne), the app does not re-buffer but instead starts to play back the entire section of radio that you listened to (i.e. 20-30 minutes). The podcasts launch with an app that does not allow you to multitask (at least on Gingerbread 2.3.6. The live stream often cuts out even with full mobile signal and needs the app to be restarted. Its a JOKE of an "app", if only I could write my own to fix this. The TodayFm app is also equally rubbish, obviously by the same developer. Get your stuff together please Newstalk, I'd even pay a nominal fee for the service!! EDIT: if you cannot get the app to launch, go to menu>>settings>>apps>>downloaded>>Newstalk>>then clear data. relaunch and it should work fine again for 2 minutes until it crashes again whereby you can go to menu>>settings>>apps>>downloaded.. you get the picture!

Poor design I expected better from Newstalk. This app functions like a poor beta version on my android phone & tablet. First touch on the news button renders a guy with a 404 error. Double tapping this message brings me to what appears to be the full site which does not render well on android devices. In the news section, headlines on the left appear correctly but the selected article to the left floats over the screen making it difficult to read. The app does not auto rotate with the device. More development needed.
