[2011-09-15] Anonymous: Superb app Seldom, I give five stars for an app but NewsRob is a high-quality app, great UI, very stable. Very happy to part with some cash in return for quality android apps. |
[2011-09-11] Wyatt: Epic Holy crap! Google should take a lesson on how a reader app should be done!!! |
[2011-09-10] Douglas: Best Reader Simple & lets me manage my reader quickly & easily. |
[2011-09-09] klam: Brilliant Absolutely brilliant and works flawlessly. Love the night mode, offline sync with Google Reader, and widget. |
[2011-08-30] the 8/31/2011 Better than Google Reader I use this on my HTC phone and my Asus tablet. Because of the awesome 2 way sync with Google Reader, I'm always reading the latest news. |
[2011-08-18] Rich: Better than the rest by a long way. I keep looking, but nothing in the last year has come close in ease of use. |
[2011-08-10] LeJean: It is very surprising that I have some advert on bottom AGAIN, when I am pro version holder. And why does it stuck when trying jump to another news? |
[2011-08-03] Phillip: This is the most used app on my Desire HD. It's excellent, highly recommended. |
[2011-07-28] cbolender2004: I enjoy app daily! Sweet app! Best RSS reader for android and I've tried them all! Been using for 2+ years! |
[2011-07-21] Ben: Does everything I need. Best I've found |
[2011-07-21] Jesus: Back button Can you add a back button for links that you click on within the feed that you're reading? This way you don't need to change feed types to back out. |
[2011-07-20] Ode: I still love it but the developer seems to have abandoned the app. No updates in ages. I would think twice before buying this now. |
[2011-07-18] Maximilian: Slowly becoming abandonware. Seems developer was overextended by project. Moved to gReader. |
[2011-07-17] Martin: Undeveloped now, moved to gReader |
[2011-07-13] Jaames: Love it but it lacks something... I LOVE the ability to cache and sync full articles for offline use but it really needs the ability to schedule updates or only sync when plugged in. |
[2011-07-12] b0b: Outstanding reader. Features, usability and readability are exceptional |
[2011-07-08] tgwaste: JustReader FTW! Later NewsRob |
[2011-07-03] Julian: Great app. |
[2011-07-01] Randle: Add tagging for 5 stars |
[2011-06-26] Jeff: The way it handles full sites is brilliant. |
[2011-06-23] the 6/25/2011 NewsRocks Been using this for a while, great for commuting. Awesome application! |
[2011-06-16] James: Widget is a real let down. Reader is amazing but the widget is really pathetic, especially as a pro feature. |
[2011-06-16] AkiraTheLemur: For $6 I would expect a widget that actually, you know, shows more than the number of unread articles. Refund time. |
[2011-06-11] Dan: Worked fantastic on nexus one. |
[2011-06-09] Tony: So much better than the official Google app. Please add Read It Later integration! |
[2011-06-07] Kenny: Brought pro because I thought everything went to SD (saving space). However the space it needs on the phone is 6mb! Disappointed. Back to feedly... :( |
[2011-06-01] JoePaLives: Love it! Still way better than Google Reader app. Worth the cost. Droid X |
[2011-05-30] CKG: Had it since switching from blackberry. Like it more than viigo. G-reader integration is excellent |
[2011-05-29] Sanders: This really needs a full featured s scrollable widget... |
[2011-05-28] desm: A more direct way to access starred items please! And how about option of offline sync of webpages WITHOUT images to speed up article sync? |
[2011-05-26] Colin: Love it. Five stars. All it needs is a feature that allows us to share links from mobile web browser in Google Reader with and without notes. |
[2011-05-23] matthijsvanwolferen: Nice, simple, quick I have tried a number of newsreaders, and every time I came back to NewsRob Free, so I bought it eventually. For me, the integration with full article content via instapaper and ease of use are the deal clinchers. Does its work fast, is simple and easy to understand and I love the fact that even on my small Milestone, it's easy to read larger articles. So buy and support! |
[2011-05-15] J: Sweetness Great app! works flawlessly in Honeycomb 3.1. |
[2011-05-12] Spidersilk: Awesome app. Wish it had a 4x4 scrollable widget. With something like that, I'd give it 5 stars. |
[2011-05-04] Craig: Good but seems to be a bug for thunderbolt users. Newsrob is using more battery than the screen. Switching to google reader until fixed |
[2011-05-04] Samu: V4.7.4 Pro on Galaxy S 2.2 has login and settings retaining issues. Won't auto-login to selected google account and fails to save Settings changes. |
[2011-04-29] iswa: Indispensable. Well worth the meager purchase price. Still best RSS reader on Android! |
[2011-04-18] Tom2652: It's The Best I've tried every Google Reader app in the Android Market, and this is, far-and-away the best. Beat's the heck out of Google's own app. Only "wish" would be that it would sync as quickly as the other Google Reader apps do. |
[2011-04-15] Art: Have used NewsRob for several months now. An excellent Reader. Thank you dev. Droid X. |
[2011-04-05] Pat: Best reader ever!!! |
[2011-03-23] Manuel: A+ |
[2011-03-22] amv71: Essential, full featured rss reader, with an excellent support forum. An easy 5 stars. |
[2011-03-20] hugov: Simple and effective. Lacks ability download and play podcasts |
[2011-03-19] Abdulmohsen: The best rss reader in the market |
[2011-03-15] rosscova: Good functionality, but slow I love the functionality, it does everything I want from an RSS app. Unfortunately it runs very slow on my Samsung i9000. Every time it syncs it runs an update, which is just unnecessary, and the sync overall takes forever. Once synced, loading a new post can take several seconds, which I don't get. I often end up loading the google reader interface in my web browser because it's much faster to navigate through. |
[2011-03-14] Micael: Most used app on my phone I've been using the NewsRob app since late summer 2009 and it's the app I use most on my phone, the app works a dream. The developer is maintaining the app in an exemplary way, he is listening to feedback and suggestions and quick in fixing any issues reported (have a look at his website) and simply because of this I upgraded to the pro version last year, not because I needed the extra functionality. Please support developers like this! |
[2011-03-08] D: Good reader. Excellent dev service. |
[2011-03-08] Scott: 4.5 really... it keeps getting better |
[2011-03-07] Stephen: Another reason to never put my phone down...thanks a lot Dev...Droid Inc. |
[2011-03-05] Boris: The widget count seems to never be correct, for example you read all the article, none are shown unread in the app, but widget still shows some. |
[2011-03-02] Shawn: Honeycomb Where's the Honeycomb support? |
[2011-03-01] GaryR: Much better than the standard Google reader application. |
[2011-02-27] Mike: This app is excellent, except one crutial flaw. When you add a feed, it will not acknowledge it untill you log out/in which is a pain. NoEmailSupport? |
[2011-02-24] chonggwan: This is by far the best reader. Today purchased. |
[2011-02-23] bikecommute: Been using NewsRob for over 4 months. Great app. Needs to sync with the newsrob folder without requiring no capital letters. |
[2011-02-23] Christian: Trialled a few rss reader, this by far the best. I needed the offline news for my public commute and this app has it all! Developer is also humble. |
[2011-02-21] Adam: Best RSS reader for Android. Well designed and looks fantastic on tablets. Dev keeps adding features; getting better and better. |
[2011-02-19] bladejj: My issue cleared up. I'm happy again. |
[2011-02-16] John: Would like an option to use different browsers in the web view. |
[2011-02-14] neoxx: Great app though no notifications on my Hero with 2.1. Finally bought the pro version to support the developer. |
[2011-02-12] ChrisClyde: Great reader that is very configurable and syncs with Google Reader. Nice, customizable widget. Aria w/ CM6.1 |
[2011-02-11] Jay: great RSS app NewsRob was one of the first apps I purchased, I have never been disappointed with it. The dev does a great job of updating NewsRob to keep it the best RSS reader out there- |
[2011-02-10] Kevin C: Works very well |
[2011-02-09] ninickck: Newsrob is eating up my Internal Storage. |
[2011-02-08] Ian: The night theme is so nice with an AMOLED display! Thanks for a great app |
[2011-02-06] Fabio: Best news reader, best sync with Google Reader |
[2011-02-05] Brandon: Ahead of official app. Couldn't pass up supporting the dev with the sale. |
[2011-02-04] MaestroDon: The only way to keep up with my feeds Syncs wonderfully, as often as I want, to my Google Reader account. Together with FeedDemon on my PC, which syncs to the same Google Reader account, I can keep up with my feeds without thinking. Pro features not really needed (I've used the free version for months), but I appreciate no more ads, and supporting the developer. Maybe I'll play with the extra pro features now. |
[2011-02-03] Chris: First ever paid app I have bought. All to support this app which I live on! |
[2011-02-03] Jivemaster: Best RSS reader on android Best news reader app around. Once sharing whole articles is added, this app will be feature complete. |
[2011-02-02] Jaljr77: I got a refund because it still stored advertising package on the phone even after buying Pro Version. Sticking with FeedR News Reader. |
[2011-02-01] goncalossilva: Bought to support the dev. Nice work! |
[2011-02-01] Andrew: Bought to support Dev. Great app, great commitment to the community. |
[2011-01-31] A380: Bought for dev |
[2011-01-31] Marcel: I just had to purchase as soon as I saw the sale. I use NewsRob every day. |
[2011-01-27] Hur: Free ver works perfectly but bought for dev.. Most awesome app, use everyday. So good it hurts me using it for free! |
[2011-01-27] julian: Very Nice! some filters luke feeddemon would be cool...so I don't have to read tech articles about apple for example |
[2011-01-24] Leo: Indispensable |
[2011-01-09] Michael: Awesome app but has been getting extremely slow recently. Samsung galaxy s |
[2011-01-07] Mark: Galaxy s now working well with android 2.2 |
[2011-01-02] T: Perfect for my needs. |
[2011-01-02] Ollie: Ui takes some getting used to. My main wish is that it was more responsive and that the widget unread count always matched that in the app. |
[2011-01-02] Christian: This is now perfect since the integration of SSO. |
[2011-01-02] gregDT: Best news reader on the market. |
[2010-12-31] xamox: Best rss reader hands down. I have been using android since 1.5 on g1. Nothing competes. Well worth the price. Frequent feature updates. |
[2010-12-30] lou: Anyone else not getting notifications with gingerbread? |
[2010-12-29] Aliana: This its great for slower phones like HTC Eris, but if your phone is fast, Pulse is better |
[2010-12-28] AizikS: Helps the developer and you get more features. |
[2010-12-21] the 12/24/2010 Best google reader app for ANY platform. I spend more time in this than in any other app on my phone. |
[2010-12-19] Paul: Like the interface, but keep getting force close window while updating on my Droid. |
[2010-12-16] Annuvin: Moto droid 2.2.1. After last update, its perfect. Pretty + tons of features. Ability to "like" is only missing feature that i can find. |
[2010-12-09] nugzar: Where are the TAGS ?!?! |
[2010-12-08] Dajiang: Best on android |
[2010-12-07] elliott9: Ive been a pro user for a few months now but i must admit, the new official google reader app is kinda nice |
[2010-12-06] Jeff: This is the must-have app if you use google reader. |
[2010-12-06] Daniel: For me this is the best RSS reader to date. I miss viigo but this fills in nicely. |
[2010-12-04] typhoonikan: I prefer the previous layout. But that's just me. And I'm waiting on a widget. Please. :( |
