RSS and Atom feed reader with widget and support for podcasts/enclosures.
You can add feeds by entering the url to a web page containing feeds or the actual feed url. It is also possible to import your feed subscriptions from your google reader account. This done using one (or more) of your phones google accounts. That means that you will never have to give away your google password to Mata directly.
Fling entries in entry view to switch to the next entry.
Mata has a small widget for displaying the titles of the latest entries. It supports auto refresh and auto download of enclosures, configurable per feed.

[2011-03-22] vpas: Just what I wanted A nice simple downloader of podcasts, which I can then play with the standard music player. No problems with large files (podcasts of 1hr or 50MB+ in size). Would be nice to jump to first unread when viewing the feed, and to reduce the size of each item to see a smaller summary but more items per screen. Minor points really for an excellent lightweight app. Please keep it this simple. Using: HTC Desire. |
