Interstitial ads killing it The interstitial ad pop up just kills it for me. Can't close it in a reasonable amount of timer, and its a full screen interstitial. Used to be my go-to app. Considering removing if not fixed by next update.

No video ads I dont have the video ads, but I got one called "millennial media" that pops up and covers the entire screen EVERY time I open a news story....and it only happens in this app.

Following Comments I check back fairly regularly on the, comments posted here. I still haven't updated simply because of these negative reviews. I'm also a bit miffed that the issue hasn't been dealt with by the developers. I'll continue waiting.

Wtf!!! Please fix this app. This used to be the only news app I used but now it wont load stories and the ads are.annoying as hell. Nothing has been done to improve this app in far to long. Update and improve and I will install again but for now complete garbage.

Fixed (for now!) Developer seems to have fixed the problem w/ ads that prevented app from being usable & stories are loading again. Has some of the best overall news coverage out of many news apps. However, loading & ad problems seem to have been becoming more & more frequent these last few months. I will increase my rating if app can go longer than a few weeks without the same old problems cropping up again!

Eating my words, update it! DO update it... CBS app. staff member (JT) answered my concerns with a personal E-mail, the app. seems to have removed the blaring video ads and has returned the "dates" to the Evening News sections. Yes the app. is a bit larger but it is still the best with NBC in second. THANK YOU (JT) for the classy response to my rant, you have a customer for life.
