[2012-08-12] David: potential good alp. best around very cpu intensive. galaxy siii probably needed. |
[2012-08-09] Justin: sucks worst app |
[2012-07-20] Chris/Styles: Styles I won't my money back!!!!! How do I know if in making a best if I can't hear anything. |
[2012-07-09] Beyette: Not bad, even on my phone! I needed something for now till FL Studio for android comes out and this is a pretty solid app I found on FL forums. I could tell by the reviews that by more people buying this app the app should have some really good updates soon. Right off the download you are able to make tunes and you are able to make very tiny edits too using on screen buttons that make touch-only very practical, it takes about a half hour to get the hang of but is butter after that. I have a tiny little screen on my phone and I could see getting a tablet in the future to really push the limits of this app, but for now, I can record audio and program midi parts on the bus and wherever I'm at on the fly. The stock sounds that it comes with are very good (the drums bump!) and the effects are nice too, I will say that the developer has gone with quality over quantity when it comes to the effects, there's not a lot of effects but they are top notch. A year from now and I bet people will wonder how they got it for $3. Anyone know how to find a manual on this? |
[2012-06-23] Sharon: Sound? Everything seems to work okay. I just can't hear anything I make on it. I have an HTC EVO 4g. |
[2012-06-12] Jay: Has Potential It's looking good so far, but it could really use more instruments. I mean that in the most severe way imaginable. Also, the cells are a bit too small for comfort, and I often make mistakes when placing them on the piano roll. More mixing options would be great as well. Another thing that I would love to see implemented is the ability to make one note 'slide' into another one, if that makes any sense. Like, raising/lowering the pitch by connecting two cell blocks or something like that. Certainly my favorite sequencer to date on the market. I'm eager to see more updates coming along. UPDATE: I've recently been stumbling across two problems that occur quite often. The first is that half of the songs that I save as projects fail to load when I attempt to open them, and they're rendered useless. The second is that random notes will become mute and not emit any sound whatsoever. I don't know what causes this, but it's very frustrating when trying to compose. One second it's working fine, and the next, half of your song stopped playing and it sounds void. Deleting and replacing cell blocks don't fix the problem. Please, please, please address these issues. Thanks. |

[2012-05-20] Dakota: Help! Apps awesome and all it just needs more instruments.. says you can add more but I have no idea how.. if anyone knows please let me know! |
[2012-05-17] Lars C Wallin: Nice! The best sequencer I have tried so far for Android! It has some bugs on my 2.3 phone though and still does not work well on my tablet. Still, very nice indeed. |
[2012-05-13] adam : Great Potential Fantastic idea and range of functions but the app has some usability issues. It's pretty clunky/annoying to navigate through and selecting and de-selecting notes in the piano roll is a pain. People should remember this is a phone/tablet app... It obviously won't compare to a DAW meant for use on desktops! Overall, good app with the potential to be great with some future updates hopefully. |
[2012-05-12] Max: Needs work. It's definitely going in the right direction. Keep working on it. A virtual keyboard I could play and record with, would simply make this a lot more functional! Keep updating!! :-) |
[2012-05-12] JeffreyE: Nice Great for on the road |
[2012-05-10] Timothy: Blows Can't do anything on my HTC thunderbolt . It laggs to hell and can't get 1 channel attack to play at 20bit rate mono .. app blows |
[2012-04-29] Dr. Piranha: DRM Garbage Does Nothing But Hurt The Customer Out of the literally 400 plus apps on my tablet, this app and just like two others, have that DRM crap attached to them, which makes them "protected" and means I am unable to backup my updates. I say "protected", because any company or developer that thinks that adding this Google protection, will stop people from pirating their apps, well, I have a bridge I'd like to sell you. It does absolutely nothing to stop pirates. One person will buy it, either crack the protection encryption themselves, or pass it along to someone else with the knowledge to do so. Then your app ends on pirate sites. I'd be willing to bet 100 bucks this very app is out there right now. So you see, the intentions are good, I'm a developer myself and understand the need to want to protect your hard work. But it simply won't stop those determined enough to steal it, and instead you make the people like me, who actually pay you for the app, suffer by way of not allowing us to backup the application. Most developers understand this principle and side with not frustrating their customers, I hope you will as well one day. |
[2012-04-24] Justin: Studio, YES! I needed this app, it will help create music, I wanted an app like this, Zquence is here! |
[2012-04-24] Julian Anthony: Anthony Very great app |
[2012-04-17] Marlo: How do you load individual samples? There are issues with loading samples, won't open folders. That's all it needs except for external inputs like vsti etc. |
[2012-04-09] Arvid.M: Not working! I was looking for a good DAW to use on my Samsung Galaxy S2 but this one is just not working. I'm on ICS and the app doesn't scale properly, not able to access all the controls. Too bad. |
[2012-03-25] Sudharshan: Good idea, incorrect implementation Has lot of potential. Not usable on ICS. Too small cells even on 10 inch tablet. Cannot zoom in. |
[2012-03-24] Genji: Galaxy Nexus ICS Doesn't scale to the screen of the Galaxy Nexus running ICS. Makes the app COMPLETELY unusable as some of the most important control keys can't be hit. Will change rating if this is updated. |
[2012-03-13] Dmitry: Update fault One or two updates ago layout became totally unusable. Mess of controls, ignoring screen touches. Impossible to do anything. Hoped the last update would fix it, but it didn't. XPeria Ray |
[2012-03-12] Andrew: Refund. Uses way too much memory. |
[2012-02-23] Rob: Easy editting Nice app, editting works well. Great to see a new engine implemented. |
[2012-01-09] Chris: It's good but... I was really enjoying it until I got an error message saying there was insufficient memory to play my 15 second track with only 3 instruments. Not impressed. HTC Desire. |
[2012-01-04] Anonymous: It's ok but not all right This application is too limited no enough instrument, comes with three instruments ( guitar acoustic, piano, saw filterd), two looped instruments ( bass lead , cello) and two drums ( real, trance ). You can't really change much of the sound in the instruments all you have is effects, four per channel ( reverb, dealy, distortion, equalizer, stereosplitters and sidechaining ) although you can record your own audio but the quality of the microphone in the tablet is not even worthy and still I have to figure it out how to put what I recorded on the track, the app made me save it somewhere but didn't put it right on the track ( you got sixteen tracks). The graphics are so small that I end up doing a lot of mistakes to get it right on the piano roll, definitely this application is not fot tablet. I can NOT recommend this programe to anyone. Me: JC |
[2012-01-02] Bill: Unusable on Nexus. The app doesn't scale right for the Galaxy Nexus display. The dialog boxes for Save, Record, Open all are off the screen so I couldn't operate them. Requesting refund. Will try again if Dev confirms a fix. |
[2012-01-01] Jacob Lee: A lot of potential, but currently disappointing. Not very intuitive. I had to search on the web to find out how to use it. Apparently you can load your own samples some how, but I'm not going to take the trouble to find out how. Right now I can't even listen to what I make because every time I hit "play" I get an "unexpected error". Wish I could get my money back, but I guess I'll keep it and see if it ever gets fixed in an update. Acer Iconia, btw. |
[2011-12-26] Thomas: superb! Loving it |
[2011-12-21] Andrew: works ok, once you figure it all out...not a large selection of instruments though, does anyone know how to get add-on's?? |
[2011-12-06] Victor: Stright bull |
[2011-11-24] Glitchface: Brilliant Ive added my own insrements and samples to th app and it is the perfect sketchbook. Avoid Uloops like the plague unless you want a toy. |
[2011-11-11] Cutsbylowe: Sucks Can do anything. No sound no downloads. Wish I could get my money back. MyTouch4G |
[2011-11-04] Juanjo: very promising Usability could be improved (navigation, user sample loading, recording...), needs a manual and/or a way to contact the dev badly, I can't set tempo in 1bpm steps... Otherwise this is quite full featured and very good, looking forward to future updates! (Galaxy S) |
[2011-11-02] Nicholas: Awesome!! I love it! Been waiting for something like this to hit the market. The other ones just don't seem to have it down. I love the fl studio inspiration. |
[2011-11-02] Tracy: Looks good, but I'll never know how it functions because i cannot select any instruments. |
[2011-11-01] Samsul: So how to make it detect it user created folder? How do you make folder appear at the Track Settings? Currently only files within the default folders can be seen. User created, it doesn't appear to be seen. Dev, please do a 'help pdf' if it is that hard to create user created folders. |
[2011-10-31] Rafigel: Can't do anything on mytouch 4g |
[2011-10-19] Alan: Oct. 2011: Best DAW on Android Android's most full featured DAW. Great samples, in-device rendering, clunky nav, mild bugs. Looks of Cubase with stripped down GarageBand function. |
[2011-10-14] Nickname unavailable: Polished & Effective, yet Buggy for now. Epic 4G I can't find the developer's contact information. Pros: Beautiful. Produces very high quality finished products. Loaded samples are clean. Cons: Back button is exit only, Cumbersome navigation, buggy touch response and note selection, no pinch to zoom, no documentation or website with tutorials. Would like to see hardware keyboard functionality, copy/paste, improved piano roll navigation / note placement, better grid snap response and more consistent note velocity/pan/volume controls. Keeping this. |
[2011-10-11] space: cool run perfect on sgs2, |
