Love WWOZ App runs pretty well. Stops in mid-stream sometimes, but not necessarily the app's fault. App starts itself and runs a thread in background, but not a big deal (suggest adding explanation to description). Developers responsive to comments.

Poorly written app, unfortunately I wished this app was better, as I'm a huge WWOZ fan and would love to have access to it in locations where I don't get the FM broadcast. The app is poorly coded, unfortunately, and barely usable. When installed on my phone (Samsung GS3), it drains battery very quickly. Apparently there's no way to stop the app once it is started on the phone and just sits in memory, draining resources and battery. OZ people, please release a new version of this app that fixes this issue. I've used the app off and on for over 2 years and still have the same problem, through all the phones I've had. Luckily, there are other radio apps that receive WWOZ, but it would be nice to have the official app work properly.

Great App so now I can listen anywhere One issue though. I killed the app and it continues to stream with no way to stop it. You have to open the app again and stop the stream. When you close an app, all hooks should close as well. If not, add an icon on the notification bar to allow for easy start/stop. Otherwise, it does everything it needs to do - stream New Orleans to my phone!
