The All-American Rejects are a pop rock band that formed in Stillwater, Oklahoma, United States in the late 1990s by high school friends Tyson Ritter (on vocals, bass, piano) and Nick Wheeler (lead guitar, vocals and keys). Other current members are Chris Gaylor (on drums and percussion) and Mike Kennerty (rhythm guitar and vocals). They released their first independent album in the spring of 2000, and eventually built up a large local fanbase.

The Police were an English new wave band strongly influenced by reggae, jazz and punk rock. Originally formed in 1977 in London by Stewart Copeland (drums), Gordon Sumner, better known as Sting (bass and lead vocals), and Henry Padovani (guitar). Andy Summers later joined the group, and after a very short stint as a quartet, Padovani left the band. The Police became one of the most popular bands in the late 70s/80s.

1) Pink was a late 80s new wave band from Japan. Members included Yutaka Fukuoka (vocals/guitar), Hajime Okano (vocals/bass), Atsunobu Yakabe (vocals/drums), Hoppy Kamiyama (vocal/keyboards), Steve Eto (vocals/percussion), and Hidehiro Shibuya (vocals/guitars) Osamu Sakasai (vocals/guitars).

2) Pink was an alias of Manfred Linzner, a computer game music composer/demoscene artist & co-creator of the AHX tracker format.

Tegan Quin and Sara Quin (born in Calgary, Alberta, Canada on September 19, 1980) are identical twins and a Canadian indie rock/new wave/indie pop band, performing as Tegan and Sara.

They initially played as Plunk in 1995, and lacked a drummer and bass player. In 1997, they used their school’s recording studio to record two demo albums: “Who’s in Your Band?” and “Play Day”. In 1998, they made an early breakthrough by winning Garage Warz Battle of the Bands, a local music competition in Calgary.
