Gnaural is a computer-based binaural beat audio generator intended as an aural aid to meditation. Long available for Mac, Windows, and Linux, this is the official port of the Gnaural player to Android.

Generating binaural beats requires a lot of processing power. To avoid audio stuttering, it is recommended that the phone be a recent model running at least Froyo (2.2). However, there are options to lower the processing load by either lower the sample rate (under Preferences) or turning off extra voices. Gnaural for Android comes with 14 built-in presets to start with. And while it can't edit presets, it can play external presets created by you or others with the computer-based version of Gnaural, having the capability to play all 7 Gnaural voices, specifically:

Pitch Perfect is a utility app for the musically inclined. At its core, it’s a digital pitch pipe, allowing musicians to take an initial pitch before beginning or rehearsing a song. If you’re the type of person who struggles to match a key signature to the name of a key, the app provides visual aids to make it as easy as matching what you see on your sheet music with the image on your screen.  For singers who keep a list of songs and their keys, Pitch Perfect makes it easy!

Just hold down the button to play the note!

Note: Pitch Perfect makes no effort to synthesize a natural sound -- instead, it generates a plain old sine wave at the appropriate frequency.  The goal of the app is to provide quick, easy access to a note when you need it.

formed in early 2007, Veils of Perception is a six-pieces ring made of Sébastien Daspet (Korobskura / Chrysalis) on vocals, Gines Jimenez (Enneade / Melem) on the guitars, Gérald Préaux (Twilight Opus / Hopeless Disgust / Blackness) on the drums, Sophie Sadiki (Mazurewickz) on the bass, Arnaud Sintès (Silentbreed / Twilight Opus) on the guitars and clean vocals and Claude-Jacques Tronquet (Silentbreed / Twilight Opus / I Wish) on keyboards.

at the end of 2007, their first effort was released as a 4 titles maxi-CD, mastered by David Prudent at the MIH Studio.
