Laughable (bahaha) All my friends started during beta and continue to use the full service absolutely free. Spotify want new users to pay 12$ per month subscription. lol your mp3 piracy would want to be a heavy load! Mp3juices.com, a basic mp3 player app, and a cloud storage app provide a very easy, very stable, and FREE solution to what spotify are trying to achieve here in my opinion.

Idiotic omissions No landscape or dock mode in a music app is absurd, and the album art periodically doesn't switch with the music. Last, but certainly not least, no Spotify radio for the Android version shows how much emphasis they put on Android users. There is absolutely no reason that our version shouldn't match the features of the iOS version considering how closely they were released.

needs some work I like this app. I like that i can play my downloaded music anywhere... my problem is that you cant put it in alphabetical order by artist or song to make your music easy to find. Its just on there the way I downloaded it and that sucks! :( please fix this I would appreciate it. :)

DO NOT DOWNLOAD The new update has effectively ruined the application. As a long time spotify user I am extremely annoyed at how the app relentlessly crashes with the new update and cannot be used in offline mode. Until a fix has been released you will be wasting your money.

Stay away The latest version keep corrupting my sd-card. Happen 4 times before I realized it was Spotify. Phone working perfectly ever since. Wish we could just get the old version again, this seriously sucks.

Don't install as new if you have ICS. This version doesn't let you save downloaded music to your phone's external SD card That means the space reserved for apps, even if it's 32GB, fills up with music. Google for 'Spotify music save external' for how to get round Spotify's awful programming. Also, the new version doesn't save your position when browsing and moving between playlists. Annoying!

Poor app, unreliable Really disappointing app, cancelled my premium membership until the issues are fixed. Requires me to log in at random times, even when offline which defeats the point of offline playlists. Sometimes login will fail then clicking login again without changing credentials and it will succeed. A couple of times I have logged in and all tracks have to be re-downloaded despite the fact they were offline the day before.

Full of lags and bugs Not just a few, but to the point where the app renders itself completely useless. With the best WiFi coverage possible it stuggles to play tracks - even downloaded playlists which supposedly allow you to listen offline - then it will start working for a while, then back to not playing. Thank God this came with a 48 hour free trial, because otherwise I'd have upgraded to Spotify Premium when the service doesn't work. Being able to access all that music would be brilliant, but it just doesn't work properly.

Don't Upgrade Spotify is going backwards. This new version takes away a lot, and added little. My #1 gripe is no more ability to add your own MP3'S to the SD card. A huge take away. Other users on the Spotify community web page are livid too. Response from Spotify is silence since April when this came out in beta. So beware.

Give it a try! My buying Spotify Premium solely depended on this app because mobile listening is what I would most use it for. But when reading through some pretty nasty reviews I really debated not getting premium and thus the app. But Spotify was doing a 30 day free trial so I gave it a try and I was plesantly suprised!! The app has worked flawlessly for me and I am listening to Spotify everywhere! Definitely give it a try if you're on the edge! The only thing I would love is some shuffle music options :) -Android user

Connection I'm not sure if it's the phone that I'm using but, while having a good 3G connection, the song skips and/or takes too long for the song to play. All this is done when quality of streaming is on "Normal." This is really frustrating. Ever since I started experiencing this issue, I've been using Pandora. This app has a good concept and I love the computer version off Spotify but the phone app needs major improvement.

Crashes, broken search and trapped in portrait Love spotify but since latest update constant crashes, search regularly doesn't work, and worst of all no landscape orientation - making it useless on widescreen tablet.

F*** this! I signed up for spitify premium, now I can't even listen to a song without being connected to wi-fi. It skips, chugs and takes ten minutes to listen to a five minute song, if it even plays at all.

Works too well The first time I installed it the app didn't make any noise at all. After a restart the app would only play through both the loudspeaker and headphones. Overall for a premium service it was rather poor.

Its OK on android but it is so much better on the ipad app why can you not make it the same... its not due to hardware.. and if you can not please at least let us have a landscape choice... don,t forget some people use Android tablets too! Song played after selected song is silent? I had the original version i think which worked great. Then i had to revert to factory presets on my phone and upon downloading this app again, when i select a song to play it plays okay, but the next song on the playlist or album plays, but there is no sound. Does anyone know why this may be? I have a Motorola Atrix (first generation). Thanks!

No playlist filtering? I love the app and the sleek new design. A lot of problems I experienced in the previous version have been fixed. It seems to be missing the ability to filter playlists now, though, which is a major concern for me. Otherwise, I'd give it five stars.

Possibly the most useless app ever This is my first rating and comment. That gives you an idea of how bad this app is. Rhapsody was leap years better in terms of mobile experience. They had an awesome playlist option and a queue that was functional. If i don't make a playlist on my computer to listen to at work, I don't bother trying. It's a truly crappy mobile experience. I regret giving up Rhapsody for this.

Terrible setup I am not sure what this app is supposed to do but there are no real guidelines on what the app will do... the music quality is OK but I would like yonder more organization an integration of social networking. I downloaded of thinking I might be able to listen to the top trending songs. And for it to be connected to Facebook I don't get that. And it just doesn't look cool at all. Thanks a 15 year old kid

App needs work Like the service so far, but the app is aggravating. There is apparently no way to alphabetize the library - instead songs appear in the order they were added. Also, an "auto-gain" setting would vastly improve this app. I listen at work through speakers, some songs are too quiet, so I turn it up only to be blasted out of my chair by the next song.
