Its good; few improvemens needed to be the best I used to love songbird since its early Linux Days, before it was dropped. Now for android, I downloaded it as soon as I saw it. Interface is neat now.. The ability to see artist news feed is good, sound quality is good, Social connection is okay for people who love sharing but add Twitter maybe? I wish it had expandable notification with play/pause, next and previous feature.. so we can skip tracks with out having to open the app. It should also provide color picker and lockscreen, add an option for it to appear in default lock screen too... Else it is loaded and seems good... and yeah Why Pink? :| blue is better for Icon?

Playlist resets!!!! BULLSHIT!! Playlist clears after update. I can't believe the developers have not fixed this frankly stupid issue. Besides that, good app. Maybe 4 stars when that gets fixed.

Install should be on sd card When this app is installed it puts it on the phones internal memory and you can not move it to the sd card that you have plugged into your phone. So if you have limited space on your phone this app is not for you i had to un install this app and could not use it

Looks nice, but incredibly unstable Installed Songbird on my DroidX2, MacBook on OS10.7, and PC with Win7. It crashes all the time, on all three platforms. They are all up to date, well maintained machines. Syncs would randomly lock up on my PC, smart playlists wouldn't display properly, misc. display glitches all the time when moving/resizing windows, and my android has only crashed three times - all three times I was using SongBird. I really wanted to like it, and gave it a week, but it is completely unusable on all three platforms I tried. Moved to winamp and I'm quite happy.

No equalizer? Really? And no gapless playback? What's taking so long these are rather basic features. Also, terrible bug makes SB constantly skip around to different songs. I had to uninstall to fix!

Best player on android, however, I really don't use the social aspect of this app at all. I only want something to play my music, however it is still the best music player on android. Also, It can play FLAC files, unlike the default player, which is nice. Some features I wish it had: -a pause/play button in my drop-down menu -automatic pause when viewing other media such as YouTube -themes/skins -ability to edit id3 tags in-app. -duplicate song detection?

This app took the wrong way This app was very useful til it merged with all that stupid social stuff. I am uninstalling it since I have found another that has the feature that allows you to use the player while the phone is locked. I hope it goes back to a good player, or at least it leaves the social stuff as an option.

Underwhelmed It plays mp3/ogg and has playlist support, that's all I care for. But how hard can it be to remember the position of the last podcast? Or list a "recently listened" to? All the other eye candy and social media bloat I could skip. But it's free, so I'm not complaining, just whining a bit. Uninstalled for a simpler one.

It has so many unnecessary features it has come to the point where you need to enter to the "Music" category in the main menu to access your music. Also, unlike Songbird for other platforms, it is close source. But it's the best music player I've found for Android.

Instant 5/5 If you're a fan of songbird on Mac/PC, you'll love this. I should've downloaded this a long time ago. Although I can't seem to figure out how to get it to auto shuffle-all after I manually chose a song from a library/playlist other than the main Songs library. The only way is too press Shuffle All in the Songs library, interrupting the song you just picked.

Good, but could be better One of the best music players out there, though I think including file and folder browsing support would make this feature compelete. Why is such a basic feature missing from most Android music players. Another thing I would like to see is a move back to the open source roots of the application, twitter, G+ support would be nice since not everyone prefers to use Facebook. Otherwise, it is a great application and very stable.
