Simply Tabla offers a choice of 6 taals including Ektaal, Teental, Keharwa, Jhaptaal, Dadra and Rupak that can be played at varying speeds upto 300 BPM (beats per minute).
Whether you are rendering a fast tarana in Dadra, a soulful bandish in Ektaal or simply honing your raags and surs during daily riyaaz, Simply Tabla allows you to customize the tabla accompaniment to suit the tempo and beat of your music. Simplicity and ease of use are the hallmark of this application, however its practical features will make it a valuable component of your music rehearsal.
It's not always possible to have an ensemble with tabla-player while practicing solo. Simply Tabla fills this need and promises to be a faithful and reliable companion during your Hindustani classical music practice

[2012-04-21] A Google User: Works well only on slow beat. This is the best Android tabla app available but still needs some improvements to be like the iPhone version which is much, much better. Most importantly, please fix it so that sound quality is not lost when you increase the tempo. Sound quality is good when played on a slow beat, but is poor when the beat is increased. |
