[2013-08-30] A Google User: I've had it for awhile, pretty slick. Get it, you'll dig it. |
[2013-08-30] A Google User: Superb This player really give user quality's sound instead of just pretty UI like other players did |
[2013-08-28] A Google User: Super |
[2013-08-28] A Google User: Che rabbia Possibile che i lettori completi e validi esteticamente siano tutti a pagamento.. non si sfugge: veloce rapido intuitivo senza ads e completo? Lo paghi.. |

[2013-08-23] A Google User: Hmmm Wish I could get full version. |
[2013-08-23] A Google User: Pathetic The app was searching for music files for 3 minutes, a "trial expired" message was shown so I couldn't even play a song... |
[2013-08-22] A Google User: Pretty good Please add "Sort By Date Added" & have a default "Sort By..." in Settings thanks! That'd make sorting much easier |
[2013-08-21] A Google User: Great Great |
[2013-08-19] A Google User: Excellent Working good. |
[2013-08-17] A Google User: Good app Wagwan |
[2013-08-17] A Google User: Would be good as an audio driver The sound quality is great. However for the increasing number of people using subscription services such as Spotify, standalone players are being less utilized. This app would be great if it could be used as the audio driver or service where all sound in the Android system gets routed to. Not sure if that's possible... But certainly would be killer. |
[2013-08-17] A Google User: Trial should at least work My trial can be resumed as starting app, try to connect to server and in less than 10 seconds being told my trial expired. Even by Jupiter day cycle this is a real short time to 'try'. Could not determine if network would work, play any song to check which format works, what the ui looks like. No test = no purchase. |
[2013-08-15] A Google User: Wonderful App Works so well. |
[2013-08-14] A Google User: Amazing Luar biasa +1 |

[2013-08-14] A Google User: It's a good music player I tried several. This ones the best so far |
[2013-08-13] A Google User: Not bad, but... Scrolling effect sucks, volume button should be on the main screen... otherwise not bad at all... dev, keep it up... |
[2013-08-13] A Google User: Great, great, great... Guys this app is awesome. Please just keep it more stable because it's freezing sometimes. PAY ATTENTION! WHEN THE DATA IS TURNED OFF BEFORE STARTING THE APP IT REMAINS USABLE AS A FULL VERSION. |
[2013-08-13] A Google User: Outstanding The best player out there at google play ...superb equaliser..simply lovin it ...great work team :) |
[2013-08-12] A Google User: Best Whoaa best player.. now I'd say my phone is in the best sound reproducing potential.. many thanks developers !!! :)) [Htc one s] Tried other app but this app is the most powerful in the market Honestly =D God bless you... |
[2013-08-12] A Google User: 1 rate this app again as excellent. If an app does Not work with your type of phone Why rate it bad? Move On and look for the One that does!then rate it.It Simply did not work with your phone not because it is bad. Andrew of Texas . |
[2013-08-11] A Google User: Galaxy s4 I like this app. |
[2013-08-07] A Google User: More resolution I can verify with settings of anti-alaising and dither and 64bit rendering turned on I was able to hear more resolution and wider spacious detailed sound over stock android player wich sounded duller and more flat less deep. So far this player sound beats them all so I will likely pay as I value quality sound. On galaxy Note2 this unit now sounds better than $100 dacs ! |
[2013-08-06] A Google User: First review ever I never commented on any app. I am also not willing to spend many words. Simply the Best music player now with improved ui. Tested poweramp, jetaudio, player pro, n7. Nobody comes close when it comes to sq |
[2013-08-04] A Google User: Streaming doesn't work Tried several supposedly compatible streams, all failed. Too bad, I was hoping the volume normalization feature would work. |
[2013-08-02] A Google User: Nice player Please fix album art! All over the place. Where is the choice to have correct picture art on my music... which is ok on other players... |
[2013-08-02] A Google User: Suthan Very Good music player |
[2013-07-31] A Google User: Cool! Thanks! |
[2013-07-30] A Google User: F.A Wonderful sound !! I like it... Really powerful sound and i love sorround sound from Neutron player music. Really make music and sound be a live !! |
[2013-07-27] A Google User: must have best music player.delivers what it promises i.e. audiophile sound quality |
[2013-07-25] A Google User: Final review: Overrated to say the least After using it close to a week on my car radio and headphones I can say this app is really not worth it. My sound source were FLAC files. There is absutly no difference in sound quality - I even had a professional listen to the difference between PowerAMP and Neutron. The difference is absutly not worth the price tag or frustration of using the UI in a typical everyday scenario. The people claiming this is the "best" please a) get a true professional opinion b) get your ears checked. |
[2013-07-24] A Google User: Rajan hello Nice plyer very nice |
[2013-07-15] A Google User: Siemen Nice of him to be a good great to have the right thing |
[2013-07-13] A Google User: Some issues, but powerful Had a few issues like starting randomly, file view not folder view, eq band is small. But looks promising and has some pro audio options. |
[2013-07-05] A Google User: Fantastic but has some bugs Has really highest quality sound and most powerful preamp for those low sounding mp3. But interface is a little cryptic. Has annoying bug that just starts whenever you are hearing some other app like tunein, it just starts and stops canceling your radio so you have to restart it. Wish developer would fix this . |
[2013-07-04] A Google User: Poop |
[2013-07-04] A Google User: Excellent player Excellent sound reproduction, perfect ambiophonics support, I was taken abak by the 3D sound neutron produced by widening the sound stage. Perfect control over every aspect of sound. I have used most players available in Play, and I can say that the only other player that comes even close to this is Noozy by Dogsbark. Their noozxoide eiso comes close. But misses out at the ambiophonics. Perfect audiophile player. Kudos developers. |
[2013-07-01] A Google User: Galaxy s4 Osum music player |
[2013-06-30] A Google User: Good audio but navigation is terrible Audio quality is great. One of the best hands down but the biggest 2 flaws makes the app unusable. First is the scrolling its difficult to scroll. 2nd is there is no way to easily browse in folders genre or artist. Only songs which makes it impossible to play what u want easily. I hope it s fixed so I can give 5 stars. |
[2013-06-28] A Google User: trail expires after 5 days? I downloaded it , checked it out for a night, worked my week, came back to it on the weekend and that is what it said when i went to fiddle with the equalizer! so lame! 1 star because 5 day trials suck, I had no clue it even expired? uninstalling... |
[2013-06-26] A Google User: Amazing Best music player I tried |
[2013-06-25] A Google User: Perfect This is exactly what I was looking for. Pure aound, several advanced options, and a tidy UI. Only a few issues but they are nominal and user based at worst. |
[2013-06-22] A Google User: Not bad |
[2013-06-21] A Google User: Excellent Before I start comment on this player, I would like to say one thing. Since I started using smart phones I have used almost 100 apps but never thought of commenting any app but this app has made me to do it because I wish the people who developed this app should the credit.. you can never find a better music player in the android than this market atleast for now... It has got all features what helps you to get the best musical experience. Take time to understand it's features and enjoy it. |

[2013-06-20] A Google User: Cruz Cruz |
[2013-06-18] A Google User: Awesome! Superb music player! I just hope that the price can be reduce a little bit, and the design can be remade so it will be less confusing and user friendly. |
[2013-06-16] A Google User: Horrendous UI Sounds great but the UI is horrible. |
[2013-06-16] A Google User: Awesome sound Really really good sound if you take the time to play with and understand the players functionality, maybe it's over some of your heads but that doesn't mean its a bad app. I had no problem with this and PowerAmp coexisting and could actually have them both loaded (stopped) in the notification bar with no trouble whatsoever. The U.I. is definitely different but that doesn't make it good or bad per say, personally I have no issue with it. |
[2013-06-15] A Google User: Amazing Sound, Best on Android But has Buggy UI that causes me to accidentally mess with the hundreds of settings. But without a doubt this is the best sounding music player I have ever heard on android. Better sound than Poweranp even |
[2013-06-07] A Google User: Awesome This player is definitely one of the best. I actually like the UI. It just takes some getting used to. But that's the fun part. There's so many options. I didn't even wait for trial to end before purchasing. Yea, it's that good. If i didn't know better I would even say, it's as good if not equal to beats. Sounds great! |
[2013-06-06] A Google User: Good, but needs tutorial. I love its performance on my Galaxy SII, but the UI is not at all intuitive. Fortunately the website acknowledges this and provides a FAQ that taught me how to create my playlist. Figuring out how to fix the duplicate entries was another problem solved by their forum. Hint: don't let it autoscan. |
[2013-06-05] A Google User: Good job This app delivers good sound. But one does need at least good headphones to appreciate it. There are lots of tweaks, the meaning of which will forever remain a mystery for most users. And their effect in portable devices largely unnoticed :) UI takes some time getting used to. But once mastered, it will do the job just fine. I'll support the developers with my $6, no problem. |
[2013-06-04] A Google User: Charming I delighted very much Nice looking great quality out put must try this player VIRAJ GHADGE |
[2013-06-02] A Google User: good one good player .. with lots of things to tweak .. but there be some userguide type of thing available.. I am confused tht neon version is mentioned separately .. how I know tht I have neon si I can get the neon version |
[2013-06-02] A Google User: you shouldn't recommend it for 1GHz. On my Desire S it had just terrifying lags, I have never seen ANYTHING work so bad as this. Interface just froze, I barely could kill the app. And even then it for some reason continued to launch and kill MusicX match(I have no idea why) until I rebooted. Horrible. Just horrible. |
[2013-06-02] A Google User: Brilliant playback but you have no idea how to design a UI. Even if it needs all the detailed options it could be made so much simpler. One star until you employ someone who knows what they are doing wrt the UI. |
[2013-05-31] A Google User: It's OK Curiously I decided to try this player after a few fellow head-fiers spoke highly of it. For one thing (as expected) when your device IS at the base recommended specs, you can expect some choppy response with the UI. The UI itself, I shall be blunt. Whoever designed it should not ever be allowed to design anything visual EVER again in their life! It would appear to be a throwback to some 70s-80s styling which is simply not appreciated this day in age. IF you can look pass the archaic UI there are certainly some in depth customization for your audio enjoyment. The immediate eq only has 4 bands BUT the fun is in the menu. Set and shape the sound to your heart (or ears) delight with the upper mid and lower ranges and cut-off for the mid lows and highs. You even have hardware tweaks, gapless, surround, playback options and whatnot to play with. |
[2013-05-29] A Google User: Not even close Freezes trying to add files to playlist on nexus 7 . Interface is not intuitive. |
[2013-05-29] A Google User: Best music player Allright when it comes to finding the music player with the best sound, I've tried them all out (poweramp, playerpro, jet audio, winamp, etc). Long story short: This has WAY better sound than all of them. Ok so It was a bit of a chore to have to manually pick out the files that I didn't want to be played (ringtones,videos,etc.). And yes the ui was a little tough to adjust to at first, but I quickly overcame those things, and the amazing sound quality made it well worth my patience. I'm definitely buying it. |
[2013-05-27] A Google User: Wow Sound quality 10/10. UI and design 2/10. |
[2013-05-24] A Google User: Best possible sound Granted the UI is not the easiest and it needs some tweaking, but 64 bit audio makes all the difference in the world. Uncomparable to anything else around, the work went in providing the best quality sound. |
[2013-05-23] A Google User: Great sound quality but... Very complicated interface... They should develop a very minimalistic and easy app with these wonderful sound quality settings... |
[2013-05-23] A Google User: HTC Desire Bohat acha hai |
[2013-05-23] A Google User: Not bad Good quality, bad UI....and how to close it completely after use ?! |
[2013-05-19] A Google User: Hao Hay |
[2013-05-18] A Google User: Good but needs major UI improvements! Sound Quality I give it a 4 star, UI I give it a -3 stars as it's too cluttered, unorganized, too complicated, just flat non-user friendly and needs a lot of simplification. Look at how PowerAmp does theirs, you'll see what I mean. Other thing, it will not drop from the Notification Drawer even after closing the app and stopping play. It also has a problem of being activated ( Starting Play ) when any other media app is used ( I was comparing it to PowerAmp, I couldn't play anything in PA without starting up Neutron. That has to be dealt with and it's not PA's problem because it's co-existed with DoubleTwist, Google Play and others off and on without a problem ). I'm going to uninstall it now, I think I have gone over it thoroughly enough to know that I still prefer PowerAmp over this player. Strong attempt at what could become the next best Auido player on Android, keep it up! |
[2013-05-17] A Google User: Good |
[2013-05-15] A Google User: Àverage Its well done but it has a phew ui issues and more, is paid. A developer said |
[2013-05-14] A Google User: Good Execellent |
[2013-05-13] A Google User: excellent |
[2013-05-11] A Google User: Supurb V nice i like it |
[2013-05-08] A Google User: The OMG, it really does sound better, player! I was initially very skeptical that a player would make much difference in sound quality, but after reading many positive reviews on head-fi I had to hear it for myself. A couple of hours in, and I am very impressed with what I'm hearing from my Galaxy Note 2. I was about ready to accept that this device would never match my S1 with voodoo sound, when this game changer comes along. Now I'm tapping my toes and nodding my head and it's past my bedtime but I just can't seem to pull myself away from my rooted Verizon Galaxy Note 2 on PBJ Kernel with Boeffla sound, because now, with the addition of Neutron, I finally feel like I have a worthy music rig. I did a quick AB test with my previous favorite app, the GMMP, and Neutron clearly sounds better! The UI is not as bad as everyone says. It is "non-traditional", which is cool -- I dig it -- And after an hour of use, I picked it right up. I did tweak a few of the options, though: Settings -> UI -> Enable system wallpaper; disable wakelock, disable fullscreen; enable autohide; enable swipe tracks BTW, try this in landscape mode: tap the track time to hide controls, then tap the spectrum analyzer to make it full screen. Nifty! |
[2013-05-04] A Google User: Design - Nightmare Please work on design, and i will buy it. Interface is ugly, dont want to see it my screen. |
[2013-04-29] A Google User: Excellent |
[2013-04-28] A Google User: Good Good player, only the interface is far from intuitive and it does not show cover arts for some albums (while my mp3 player device shows them all right). It also does not scroll the lyrics, they just stay there as if a txt file. |
[2013-04-25] A Google User: Ballin Just wish the ui was cleaned up a lil but other than that its a great player. Better than power amp. |
[2013-04-23] A Google User: Excellent! Best sound quality of all my music apps by far. None other come close. I love the quality the 32/64 bit rendering brings out of my music! |
[2013-04-22] A Google User: The best Great player with superb interface. Also, supports Cyrillic mp3-tags. |
[2013-04-20] A Google User: My new favorite This is a great player. I've tried others but like this the best. Could use a bit more refinement to the widget and notification bar, the buttons look a little 1980's. Sound is excellent. Highly recommended. |
[2013-04-19] A Google User: Five star |
[2013-04-15] A Google User: Best among all unprecedentedly awesome sound quality, highly recommend for audiophiles |
[2013-04-13] A Google User: Goooodddd |
[2013-04-12] A Google User: Excellent control of sound The interface takes a bit to get used to, but once familiar, this program is very good. Proper pitch control, and loads of other audiophile features. |
[2013-04-11] A Google User: Nothing here folks Pretty basic player. Lights, and that's about it. Back to power amp with its 10 band eq, tone, bass and more. |
[2013-04-10] A Google User: Super Good |
[2013-04-09] A Google User: Must have for all music lovers This app is not for the average or wannabe music lover; if you are love music in its purity you will need this app. |
[2013-04-07] A Google User: Gives you the best equalization on Android Everything about this app is quality, and can completely improve Dynamics and fedilty of all sounds, please throw away your dre beats and static makers and go get pro headphones so you can hear this app in action (also to some saying its the 'worst' music player please throw your device at the wall, and try it again) |
[2013-04-07] A Google User: Made my phone freeze EVERY time I used it. First, the auto-scan for music doesn't work...or if it does work, it freezes the app itself or your entire phone in mid-process. The last time I opened the app (maybe the 4th time), it didn't simply freeze the app itself, it froze my phone so I had to remove the battery to turn off my phone. |
[2013-04-01] A Google User: Audiophiles? - The spectrum analyzer is a placebo, at least on my Galaxy Note 2. It doesn't match what's being played at all. - This is supposedly for audiophiles. Your program is doing lots of processing on the music which really goes against what most audiophiles strive for, which is a flat output that is made musical by the headphones or speakers. - Rumble filter DSP supposedly protects speakers from frequencies below 20 Hz. Most phone amps cut at 20 Hz. Please explain what this is doing then. - Normalization shows up twice in your feature list. |
[2013-03-29] A Google User: Too complicated I'M sorry, but I just couldn't get this to work! It couldn't find any of my music libraries. Uninstalled |
[2013-03-28] A Google User: Awesome Nice Player |
[2013-03-27] A Google User: Wat a load of balls The worst music player of all time, don't get me wrong the sound is good but thats where it ends, it puts everything on ur phone into the music player ie....ringtones, game sounds, videos u mite hav made the list keeps going on. I've 4 albums but this music thing says ive over 550 songs and I was told to remove em myself via email. Wen I try and hit a song it plays the next 1 down. The list of faults on here just goes on and on. But the very worst is, once they emailed me they made out that it was my fault. |
[2013-03-27] A Google User: Best Android App Ever Created. Period. If Google were smart they would always feature this app on the play store. It is by far the best media player on any platform I've ever used. Why? Because its the first app to understand audio and quality. Also because its the only app with a live readout spectrum analyzer. The best audio quality. Who knew your phone could make music this good sounding! U have my full support! |
[2013-03-27] A Google User: Sounds lovely, needs new ui Obviously this has been designed by engineers! Give me the same audio rendering engine with an intuitive clean ui and I'll pay you again and double and for gods sake please don't spin it as a a "sophisticated u.i." its plainly just shite. Edit. The ui has been revised since the last time i looked and it is now consistent and logical and even easy to use. unfortunately it still looks like an early 90s winamp skin. I could live with it but should I have to compromise? If this had skins... |
[2013-03-22] A Google User: Htc Good |
