Maestro (v. 1.1) Разработано RevelliGroup |
Have you ever wanted to compose music on Android? Now you can! Maestro is primarily a music notation editor, but includes a pitch pipe and metronome as well. With the notation editor, you can drag and drop notes directly onto the staff and then have the app play your composition back to you.
You can also change the key signature, time signature, and clef, and choose the instrument you want to hear played. It’s fast, fun, and easy to use. Maestro is currently in beta testing, and we would appreciate your feedback.

[2013-11-04] A Google User: Great app, tons of potential!!! I've always wanted a decent music notation app for my phone, and this one has really exceeded my expectations with its ease of use. It's got a ton of potential; keep the updates coming! One thing I'd like to see updated is the range of notes that I'm able to write- currently the limit is only two ledger lines above or below the staff. |
[2013-11-03] A Google User: Love it. More should be added but it's still a nice app. |
[2013-10-12] A Google User: Xool Nice |
[2013-09-28] A Google User: Superb... Definitely I like to donate few if it will help u... I'm learning notation class... it definitely helped me... From Nepal |
[2013-09-25] A Google User: Has potential Easiest music notation app out there but switched to another because it has the ability to add more instruments. The drag and drop notes on tgis is great as well as the options that appear when tapping the notes it just simply does not have enough features. :( please develop and I will definitely use this app |
[2013-09-17] A Google User: Just What I Needed. simple and intuitive. But would be better if you could change key and time signature within the one file. It's a good beginning. |
[2013-09-15] A Google User: On its way Pretty good! Just missing one critical feature: export! I would need to get the score out as a pdf for example to make use of a notation app. |
[2013-08-29] A Google User: I like it Should have optionto save as midi so can us as ringtone. |
[2013-08-28] A Google User: Pitch pipe This is an awesome app. I'm not that great at piano yet so the notation editor really helps learning music. But on my Droid DNA the pitch pipe only has a B and no other pitches to choose from. Would EASILY be 5 stars if that gets fixed. |
[2013-08-18] A Google User: more better than apps av used before. where is the update??ability to print vthe sheet. ? i will be the first to buy it cant wait for upgrade |
[2013-08-09] A Google User: Excellent Tool Great tool for young and old. |
[2013-07-26] A Google User: Good app Only wish I could print! Otherwise good! Thanks |
[2013-07-16] A Google User: Good Great |
[2013-07-10] A Google User: No triplets that really sucks. This is for kids. |
[2013-06-16] A Google User: Pretty good... My SIII doesn't render the pitch pipe at all. All i get is three pitches in the circle at my disposal. Otherwise, great work. |
[2013-05-29] A Google User: I really like it! It's very useful and helping me learn by ear songs that I can't read so well. I can see myself paying or donating if you would include an export to mp3 or allow printing the part. Maybe even add other instruments (I use it for rhythms so drums would be nice). Again, great app! |
[2013-05-19] A Google User: its fun.. the quality is good but the only thing in this app is that the time signature. its been fix already and i can't change it to 3/4 count...i hope you'll add some of the time signature. thanks! |
[2013-05-19] A Google User: Zach L-S 1) My biggest critique is that the range of each clef is limited. The cello can't go much higher than an E-flat on the A string, and it doesn't look like I can change clefs in the middle of the piece or arrangement I'm making. 2) I get that the viola is the perennially unloved instrument of the orchestra (and has a weird clef no other instrument has), but it should be included! I like arranging music for string quartets. 3) I really like the pitch pipe and tapping your own metronome beat! |
[2013-05-10] A Google User: Great free app Recommend for music students |
[2013-05-04] A Google User: Awesome I hope that this becomes of more extensive use like the other few good softwares available for the PC users. All the best for the developing team. Looking forward for betterment. |
[2013-05-01] A Google User: Limit notes range On Sol key, can't edit note higher than note A |
[2013-04-25] A Google User: Maestro is an awesome free app I wish to thank the developers and want to offer my suggestions for improvements that would make Users willingly pay. 1- Better instruments or instrument voicings. 2- The ability to build chords. 3- The ability to start playback at any bar. 4- The ability to print files. 5- The ability to compose with multiple instruments OR to combine multiple files to allow more instruments 6- The ability to DOWNLOAD SONGS TO COMPUTER. For FREE, this is a great app. PERFECT FOR MUSIC STUDENTS. |
[2013-04-21] A Google User: Ok It is a good app but there should be a few changes. The eighth notes and sixteenth notes don't tie together and with the metronome should be a tuner. |
[2013-03-27] A Google User: Love it so far Using it to take down motifs ton the go. Wouldn't be good for hard core composing but fabulous for sorting through ideas. |
[2013-03-20] A Google User: Good, as far as it goes.... ... But, unfortunately that's not far enough. It should at least have the option of saving as a MIDI file. |
[2013-03-12] A Google User: Eh It crashes, deleating any unsaved data. And the pitch for trumpet is one note too high. |
[2013-03-05] A Google User: Better interface than most. This app works pretty well for simple composition. Note entry uses drag and drop and placement is accurate. Notes may be edited for tone but period is not editable unless you are adding dots. The other problem is that it automatically completes the bar with rests when you preview and then doesn't let you add or extend notes without first removing the rests. This creates more work than it saves. |
[2013-03-04] A Google User: Not worth it It won't make you put lower notes. Why? |
[2013-02-25] A Google User: Limited range The first song I tried had a low G as the fourth note. The app doesn't allow notes that low. Had to uninstall it. |
[2013-02-24] A Google User: Ok I guess Needs to be able to do chords. |
[2013-02-17] A Google User: Keep it up! Good so far. Looking for way more features though.Like lyrics and more. |
[2013-02-16] A Google User: Pretty good I can't figure out how to make note slurs but all in all its pretty good, great samples a grand staff would be nice too |
[2013-01-25] A Google User: A very good start. This is a very nice, simple notation editor. I just wrote out a two part tune. It's very easy and fun. It just doesn't go far enough, but I guess that's why we have Musescore and PCs. |
[2013-01-23] A Google User: Very nice. What a good idea! I wish I could print it to be able to share it, or maybe share it over the phone! I love it! I wonder if it can become more extensive. |
[2013-01-18] A Google User: Drums please It's wonderful and very intuitive to use, but could you please please add drums as instrument as well? ? |
[2013-01-18] A Google User: Exactly what I needed! I had to learn a piece of music but I don't sight read. So I got this app, copied in exactly what was on the sheet music, hit play, and voila! Now I can learn it by ear. Entering the notes is easy. One question though- can you not change time signature in a single file? I had to make two files since it switched in the middle. Slightly annoying but still this app is awesome. |
[2013-01-17] A Google User: Triplets Nice interface and easy to use but without triplets (I hope I'm wrong) I can't consider it a complete program. |
[2013-01-10] A Google User: Simple and nice but NO VIOLA ON INSTRUMENT LIST, and NO ALTO CLEF!!! |
[2013-01-02] A Google User: Excellent This app is excellent!! I'm a singer, so I use it to help me learn the more difficult lines in my music when I am not near a piano. With its simplicity I can place the music and be memorizing within minutes. It also allows me to focus on lyrics and technique which often get compromised when I play the piano at the same time. Good job! |
[2012-12-26] A Google User: Good Does the job but needs two staves |
[2012-12-18] A Google User: awesome this is amazing...it helped so much with my composition for class |
[2012-12-11] A Google User: It is okay at best I wasn't able to code a Whole note and had to tie four quarters. Also, the pitch pipe displays only 1/3 the notes! |
[2012-11-22] A Google User: Erases as soon as you open another app. I want to have it play a note once I click on it. |
[2012-11-18] A Google User: Tablet Doesn't work on Tablets. Really bad display. |
[2012-11-08] A Google User: Hey Tripletz plz |
[2012-11-04] A Google User: Pitch pipe Only 3 notes showed on pitch pipe. |
[2012-11-04] A Google User: Great Really good app. Would be 5 stars if you added demi semi quavers and hemi demi semi quavers and breves |
[2012-10-30] A Google User: Ugh Slur would b nice |
[2012-10-22] A Google User: Very nice |
[2012-10-22] A Google User: It Is What It Is... Going to uninstall because it's useless for my purposes. With a BA & MM in Music Theory & Composition, and 40+ yrs as a professional musician, my wish list is miles long. It's greatest attribute is demonstrating Android's potential for a professional, full-featured, music notation program. Phone screens are too small for concert band and orchestral scores, but there's really no reason why one shouldn't exist for Android tablets. 5-stars because it does what little it does well. |
[2012-10-20] A Google User: Cannot make chords. That is a big problem. |
[2012-10-17] A Google User: Terrible How to combine single notes in groups? for example )) |
[2012-10-10] A Google User: Not bad. I have had this application installed on my phone for a while now, and I'd like to say it runs like a charm. Its so simple to use. Five stars for you, sir. |
[2012-10-09] A Google User: monaural but otherwise good no chords, single staff, but excellent entry mode. simple enough for rehearsal use, but not really suited for other serious uses yet. Also lacks zooming, |
[2012-09-30] A Google User: Good app Good app many thanks. Can you add the ability to create 2+ parts in one file? |
[2012-09-25] A Google User: Pitch Pipe Screen Error We have the Samsung Galaxy s2x. The screen for the pitch pipe only shows the upper left quadrant of the circle of notes (that is A flat to C). Fix this and the app is perfect. For now we have uninstalled. Will check back from time to time to see if it's fixed. |
[2012-09-24] A Google User: Great app! Just about perfect. Copy and paste would be great for repetitive sections. Adding an undo feature would also be very helpful. Other than that it is the easiest most effective notation tool on mobile devices around. |
[2012-09-24] A Google User: Absolutely basic There simply aren't enough features to bother using this app, unless you just want to mock up some simple melodies. I'd give it bit more credit if it could export files. |
[2012-09-20] A Google User: Fail No chords, no meter changes, key changes, one stave, no triplets, awful midi, no dynamics, no articulations. But before attempting any of that, just work on the files saving. So many other apps do all of this. |
[2012-09-16] A Google User: Im learning Iv been learning music theory and this helps put it all together couple things to add is chords and having both bass and treble please it would make it so awesome thank you |
[2012-09-10] A Google User: Pretty cool, not for drummers Its a really cool concept but definitely needs some work. Im a drummer who focuses in marching percussion. I got it to jot down the rhythm of ideas i got. But as far as i can tell there's no tripelets function. And i wasn't expecting a full battery layout but at least a drums option would be nice. :) Again, really cool app but not exactly for drummers. Haha i think I'll stick with jotting down my ideas on paper. |
[2012-09-06] A Google User: One small problem Looks good but for whatever reason the view of the pitch pite screen is zoomed in to the extent that I can only see two and a half note buttons. I can't get the view to move or resize. I look forward to any suggestions or a fix. Samsung Note. |
[2012-09-01] A Google User: Great Start I've been hurting for a solid music notation app and this is a really great start. I'd gladly pay to have multiple staves, chord functionality, and being able to output to pdf. Also, just a small bug - when using the pitch pipe, the activity isn't handling large screens and rotations correctly, so only half the pitch pipe is accessible. Maybe tweak the activity window so it redraws properly in landscape mode and on tablets. Still, great app! Appreciate the work dev! |
[2012-08-22] A Google User: Great start! Nice work so far, but needs more functionality. Songs cannot change key...seems odd that it forces creating a new file for a key change...not that realistic. |
[2012-08-20] A Google User: Best music app out there! Awesome app! Just want it to be able to save music files to the SD card -- had to change phones recently and wasn't able to move my music over to new phone! Thanks! |
[2012-08-16] A Google User: Good But not great. I love the ability to compose, but a great addition would be to put together a scoreplus additional staves would be excellent. The addition of auxiliary percussion would also be great. |
[2012-08-10] A Google User: Cool Pretty good. Just needs differnt rythms like 16th notes and triplets |
[2012-08-10] A Google User: nice good quick loading and nice metronome pitchpipe and music doodle pad! |
[2012-08-10] A Google User: Golb Very good I wish you could make chords and have more then line |
[2012-08-01] A Google User: Having fun with this! Nice app, i think u did a good job! I like in the metronome u can accent, or syncopate. Thats a nice touch. Like the write your own song too. Helps to see it on the page without writing it out longhand, myself, which i dont like doing. |
[2012-07-31] A Google User: Great Great for jotting ideas. As people have said, an option for chords and maybe to be able to jot in some notes and reminders would be great. |
[2012-07-27] A Google User: Lots of Potential There are so few music notation apps for Android. This one is great, but still quite limited. |
[2012-07-17] A Google User: Didnt like Cant tie notes that arent on same pitch |
[2012-07-12] A Google User: Almost there... Love every thing about it, the only things I would add would be another stave for some harmonization/ left hand accompaniment, ability to make tripolets, and the ability to copy and paste sections! |
[2012-07-07] A Google User: Easy to use but very limited. Can't play two notes at one time, can't go more than two ledger lines above or below the staff. |
[2012-07-06] A Google User: Where does it go when saved? Great app but Where does it go when Saved? |
[2012-06-29] A Google User: Needs a greater range! I love this app for writting on the go but the notes dont go high or low enough. Please fix :( |
[2012-06-27] A Google User: Bad design This program won't let you nuisance triads cords if seventh |
[2012-06-24] A Google User: Excellent Potential The UI is so simple, it's amazing. The app is in beta: so here are my suggestions in order for this app to be useful to me and not just a great idea: 1) I need to be able to input chords, not just melodies. 2) TRIPLETS are a must! 3) As a guitarist, it would be nice if the treble clef ledger lines went down to E and up to E, respectively (or at least view treble and bass clef simultaneously; 'would still need upper reg ledger lines). 4) 'Can't add new measure in beginning unless I start over. Great start! |
[2012-06-11] A Google User: ;?)-K Would be nice to play multiple parts at once But otherwise pretty good |
[2012-06-02] A Google User: great app! well done :) this app is great, really easy to use and fun :) but there is one annoying thing.. the text is really blurry and hard to read. also, is it possible to open my notes in other programs? i use sibelius on PC and i would like to import notes from my phone... |
[2012-06-02] A Google User: Good start. If I could suggest two things to add it would be chords and MIDI import/export. Also, as others have said, you gotta address triplets. |
[2012-05-28] A Google User: Wonderful Best notation app Ive seen. Functional, helpful, and well-designed. Very well done. |
[2012-05-22] A Google User: Bad It's a good idea, but you cant do more than one note at a time. And also, you can not play individual measures. |
[2012-05-18] A Google User: Great app! It's easy to use and understand its better than other apps I have tried.... But it doent respond sometimes.... So I have restart what I am doing either than that its a great app |
[2012-05-09] A Google User: Great potential! Really good for what it is. Has a whole lot of potential. I would be happy to donate if it will help. I think you could make the staves larger and add Triplet base first. I have some good suggestions but so far, so good! Keep it up!! |
[2012-05-07] A Google User: Great app, please take it further! I love this! So easy to use. I would love to see the ability to export and to choose a starting point for playback, not just the beginning of the song. |
[2012-05-07] A Google User: Maestro won't save file content It won't save file content, just the file name. |
[2012-05-06] A Google User: Great Works great for what it is. I use it to learn music from sheet music on the go. Agree it could use more features, but better than anything else I've seen. |
[2012-05-04] A Google User: So good!!! 5 stars if you can add chords and if somehow you can make this app support having a bassline and treble line playing together |
[2012-05-03] A Google User: Not bad. Could be better. I would like to be able to differentiate between major keys and minor keys. it's a good start. If you add more notation symbols, it would be more preferrable over a simple pencil in piece of paper. I can't wait for the update. |
[2012-04-26] A Google User: Cool Best I've seen yet! |
[2012-04-26] A Google User: Bravo Very easy to use. A great tool to compose and edit short intros and fanfares. |
[2012-04-20] A Google User: Can't play more than one note at once. Useless. Can't write even a baseline plus melody. It's either /or. Stick to your manuscript pad. Also, can't copy/paste. |
[2012-04-17] A Google User: Beginner's App |
[2012-04-15] A Google User: Good to see some effort for notation apps on Android ...but lightyears behind iPad notation apps like Symphony Pro. If there was some indication of a bright future for Android music notation software I would gladly contribute some cash, but it sadly doesn't look likely. Hence I'm going to be forced to buy an iPad, which makes me sad.:-( |
[2012-04-12] A Google User: No SD support If it can't be moved to SD card, it doesn't stay installed on my phone |
[2012-04-11] A Google User: Disappointed I am a percussionist who works with various drum lines. There is no choice for non-pitched instrumentation. =( |
[2012-04-10] A Google User: For people who don't read music This looks like it should be great for vocalists who can't read music. Just drag & drop the notes into their spots and hit Play to hear how the line is supposed to go. |
[2012-04-08] A Google User: Saved where? Love this app! Ive composed few musical phrases and saved but where do i find the saved composition? Truly helpful for, musicians! Can we also save it onto chosen folders? |
