The Kalimba, also called Karimba, Thumb Piano, Lamellophone, Mbira, Sanza, among others, is a musical instrument from southern Africa. The keys are plucked with thumb or fingers, and the vibrations are amplified by a hollow box.

[2013-02-16] A Google User: Awful sound I am a kalimba maker,so let me tell you something. Go at YouTube listen to whatever kalimba video and tell me if the sound is even close. My advice to the author is to take a look at the apple store where they have very good kalimba app. Nothing personal. |

[2012-06-05] A Google User: lite is too lite Lite was too lite, you should give people a few songs they can play, not limit it to 30 seconds. Also i found the ui slow, even on my galaxy nexus. Background music was blah too, turned that off right away lol |

[2012-05-28] A Google User: Cool Love it. Gonna upgrade when I install a ROM. Found it really good for my 6 month old daughter who likes the visual sound and vibration aspects that all combine here. Also tho as others have said it is a real instrument, works very well with very low latency - unnoticeable. |
