Practically Useless WiFi connection drops constantly, album folders appear empty, tracks become jumbled within playlists and end up with the wrong names/artists assigned to them. Instal this if you like having to restart your apps all the time. I never usually bother to review apps, but I paid for this and it's a huge disappointment. One star because I can't give zero. Some issues, but works. This pretty much works as advertised, but there are some issues. First, sometimes, when you select a song from a playlist, something elsewhere in the list will start playing! Very odd. The songs in question had Korean metadata - maybe that has something to do with it. Also, there's no tablet UI. It sticks you in a scaled landscape phone UI, which is pretty terrible with a 10 inch screen. Also, it would be really nice to have some of the functionality that most music players have on Android, where you can long press a track to get album/artist, long press an artist to get list of tracks/albums, etc.

Sucky connection My internet is fine, my computer is running iremote nd is strongly connected to the router. As is my phone. So why won't it find or connect to my computer/server??? I don't have Bluetooth on my comp so that is not an option. I'll keep the app until an update fixes it.

Poor networking The networking of this app with the server is terrible, clearly poorly executed. The server does not bind to the proper IP addresses of the wireless network and there seems no way to control this, so the whole setup could be useless if your computer has more than one address or multiple network interfaces. Why not bind to 0.0.0.0? In my case it doesn't even pick an IP on the Wifi interface, instead opting for one of the addresses on the wired LAN. In the free version almost all features are disabled, so there isn't much point in testing this out. Don't waste your time.
