Grand Staff (v. 1) Разработано Black and White |
This music note identification trainer is the full version of 'Grand Staff Demo' (please try before purchasing this version) and features quizzes on all the notes of the Grand Staff a competent piano or keyboard player is likely to come across. Ideal if you're starting to learn or want to improve your music theory
Being a piano teacher myself and taking on board feedback from fellow teachers and pupils, I wanted a simple app that would help my pupils read notes in a way which was tailored to their experience and ability. I wanted this from a single click of a button instead of complex menus, check boxes and sliders
This app has 12 levels covering various ranges of the notes found in the Treble Clef, Bass Clef and Grand Staff.
It is purely designed to give the learner a strong foundation of non accidental note reading. Apps for key signatures, timing and other aspects of music theory will follow
Features:
- 12 levels - each range specified before play
- Quizzes are scored and timed
- Correct note stated when incorrect answer given
- Phone vibrates when incorrect answer given
- Installs straight to SD card

[2012-01-29] A Google User: Sometimes less is more. After trying several apps with bells and whistles, it seems to me as a late life violinist that this one is most helpful for those of us with middle aged eyes who are struggling for accuracy with ledger lines. Having the opportunity to drill treble and bass and then grand staff clears up a lot of errors I've been making due to an inability to grasp the spacing on ledger lines. Don't ask me why, it's just that I don't posess the sponge like qualities of the younger learner and it's just harder, that's all. So. Forget all the bells and whistles a lot of these other apps offer, I think this one's the best in terms of actually improving response time to notes on the chart, which started happening for me the first afternoon I worked with this app. Now, if someone could just come up with a counting and timing program that is as simple as this reading program is. |
