[2012-11-09] Dustin: Uninstalled Poweramp! I have been using Poweramp for almost 2 years but decided to shop around when it came time to buy a music app. I am very impressed so far. Dev, I cant find anything that allows me to assign EQ presets to recognize when headphones are plugged in or when speaker is being used. This would be great! I used that feature on Poweramp but bought yours cuz I like the UI, EQ & overall design more & it's $1 cheaper. Oh, & the sound quality seems a lil better! |
[2012-11-07] Andy: Excellent Best music player I've found |
[2012-11-06] ferongr: Great music player Finally a music player for Android that correctly diaplays and browses by the album artist tag. Alsilo correctly displays Japanese in bpth UTF and Shift-JIS. The configurable Now Playing screen and configurable Album Art scaling modes make things fit even on my 320x240 display. 10/10 would install again. |
[2012-11-05] Rick: Almost Plays only a handful of my lossless WMA files |
[2012-11-05] Kyle: Email questions please @rick: the description clearly states it does not support wma lossless yet (the 1.4 beta does however) |
[2012-11-04] Don: Best Droid Audio App Still haven't found Streaming function. Amateurs need to be patient. This a pro level product for the smartphone. I haven't figured out how or if it will stream from my Linux web server. If the $ version streams then I'll order. As good as MediaMonkey is my licensed version doesn't stream. |
[2012-11-04] DMD9: Outstanding! Best looking player out there, with plenty of options, and it's gapless! |
[2012-11-04] Syed: Flawless! By far the best music player out there. Has all features that I need. |

[2012-10-30] abasio: Best music player I've found I went through a lot of android music players trying to find the best one for me. They all either skipped, used too much battery or had an interface that just didn't work. GMMP has a simple easy to use UI, you can browse by the tags or folder and it supports gapless playback. I managed to mess up some settings and lost all the controls on the now playing screen but reinstalling solved that. I read that some people couldn't find all their songs but if you can wait for the scan to complete it is fine. |
[2012-10-30] Thomas: Exellent player I have about 3 great players on Android market on my Droid x (I don't want to list them) but this gives all the features I've been looking for. |
[2012-10-29] Archaenon: Scanning problem. I know I only have 148 tracks on my SD card. GM scanned over 2000+ and created copies of each song 10+. Other then that I like it. |
[2012-10-26] Jairo: Excellent Like |
[2012-10-26] Kunal: Ugly icon Great player, I even bought the licence! But improve the icon. Its very poor. Doesn't go with the quality of the app. |
[2012-10-24] Ben: Best music app for the price Best features as a music fan: Gapless playback. Ability to shuffle anything. Equaliser (though music is produced for flat anyway) Scrobbler is adjustable saving battery and data usage |
[2012-10-23] Murphy: Perfect This is so cool but can't it be for free |
[2012-10-22] J.Mohler: Yall ready for 1 3...3,3 311??? bought this awhile ago, doest have eq support for froyo which is what my wolfson soundchip having beast runs so even tho i got ics and jb on other devices i roll with the t839 for music. No eq kept me with neutron 64 and poweramp. Was lookin for a mp with low batery use for them times and saw ur utube vid by accident. Even if i never use the pro gmmp i bought, u get 5stars dev just for havin mass 311 awesome app, dev of the year right here |
[2012-10-21] Arnav: The artist problem In artist system of a down. ->all songs -> I get bob Dylan ,Enrique ,etc such artists songs ...... Tried changing the name of artists also but didn't work |
[2012-10-21] Gabriel: Gapless playback and more I needed gapless album playback so I tried GoneMAD. Works very well. Love the special features like album art lock screen integration and album art download. I also like how it can start playing as soon as I plug in the headphones and also resume after a call. I think the only thing I'm missing is extended track info. Also the ui takes a little getting used to. Very nice! Thank you! |
[2012-10-21] Tadeusz: Lyrics - lacking :/ |
[2012-10-18] Malaaeld: 3D audio effects needed How about adding 3D audio effects like what is found in jetaudio like hall and wide and so on?? It will be the best ever if this is added.. |
[2012-10-18] Angus: One little imperfection Let's keep it simple, everything is working fine and great except the playlist functions are pretty unclear and premature. It'll be great if this particular problem is solved.btw the sound quality is superb. Another bug is the unresponsive of the widget. Also it'll be great if there's an option to change the notification widget color |
[2012-10-17] sudiadnyana: gonemad music trial perfect |
[2012-10-15] pradeesh: Not good Its not cross fading automatically. So uninstalling |
[2012-10-15] Nevzat: Can't see external sd @Sgs I9000 ,slimbean (Jelly Bean). It seems it doesn't support jb yet. I also could not find its batch tag editor, where is it? |
[2012-10-15] Robert: Finally an App that handles "Album Artist" well Since my RAZR was upgraded to ICS, the stock music player quit handling the "Album Artist" tag properly. Compilation albums like the 4 CD Chimes of Freedom set resulted in dozens of single artist albums. I did everything I could with the tags (using MP3tag) and then began trying various apps. After trying all the highly touted apps some of which advertised being able to list by album artists I tried GoneMAD and instantly everything was good again. I even had one track that kept showing up with "unknown artist" on all the other apps no matter how I tried to fix it that is now correct with this app. |
[2012-10-15] Spandan: Really good Interface plus options = WIN! |
[2012-10-15] Ash: Solid Was debating between this and Poweramp. Since they're the only 2 players that seem to read my tags correctly. Bought this because its on sale. Knocked a star off because it's quite slow when scrolling through music especially when album art and details are is set to display. Fix this and it's a 5. |
[2012-10-14] Ruger: Good app with good support I've tried many Android music players and was always put off by how bad the GUI was - and never configurable. This app has the cleanest GUI in my opinion, and it is all configurable. Want to see artist, album, track #, and track name? No problem. I also needed gapless and a good lockscreen player both of which this app does well. When I had an issue with crossfade, the developer emailed me back within minutes with a workaround. This app is definitely worth the purchase price. |
[2012-10-14] Dil: Great app Very helpful and responsive developer. |
[2012-10-14] Paul: finally!! finally i have found a decent music player with gapless support, intelligent auto pause and resume when removing speakers, intelligent album playing when you just select the first track and a clear easy to use ui. great stuff. |
[2012-10-12] Frankie: Awesome playback, horrible playlists I tried more than 50 players and the best is still Jukefox and it's free! I came back to GMMP because the sale and that bar none they do offer the best music fidelity during playback. A killer thing from GMMP is the ability to prioritize the playback task and memory assignment so the music never skips. This is the only player that matches my iPod in playback. Making playlists need LOTS of work, nothing positive to say about it. Mood player or intelligent shuffle or auto playlists would make this the best. |
[2012-10-12] BenRogersWPG: Amazing Player. Missing ONLY one feature. One of the best players on Android that I had the privilege of testing. It is actually only missing ONE feature: The ability to rate (1-5 stars) a song, and allowing you to create a playlist of all 4-5 star songs. I am enjoying this player more than Poweamp! |
[2012-10-12] Jeff: Worst player ever If you think I'm buying this **** think again. |
[2012-10-12] Luci: Very good player. It has lots of customizations available. The developer is amazing, he responded very quickly to the raised issue. Thank you Kyle. |
[2012-10-11] Erick R.: Nice work on the app, but needs work in the download-the-album-covers part. |
[2012-10-08] Lynne: Ive Dwnloaded MANY SPOSED GR8 Music Playr Apps & Been DSAPPOINTD Many Times. THIS 1 IS RLLY RLLY BRILL!!!!! MANY THANX 2THE MAKER LB |
[2012-10-08] kikoexe: app icon not good and widget not responding at times.. i hope dev will change the app icon.. this player rocks but the icon is a big letdown.. also, there are times when the app widget doesn't respond.. please fix |
[2012-10-08] Christoper: The best android music player. Has the most options across the board and the developer is constantly updating and responds to requests quickly |
[2012-10-06] arun: Very nice |
[2012-10-06] Nguyen: Need more features I don't see options playing all songs in order (name/artist/album). I can't just enqueue all the songs. Also the widget play, skip buttons are a bit big in my opinion Apart from that, very good sound though |
[2012-10-05] David: Simply the best! I've tried lots of music players and this is the best I've found. It does all the basics very well (which some music players don't!) and it has great sound quality and a very nice display, It takes a little bit of time to find all the features, but everything I want is in there...and more. I don't buy many apps, but had no hesitation in purchasing the unlocker for this. Brilliant! |
[2012-10-03] @1Tamarcus: T |
[2012-10-03] Dusty: Real deal Your search is over. This player is the real deal. Active and organized development. Try them all, you will end up with this player |
[2012-10-02] Tomach: Should be default music player It comes with a ton of options, it's more aesthetically pleasing than poweramp and doesn't overwhelm you like neutron. Great app. |
[2012-10-01] Mark Rey : Oppa nice |
[2012-10-01] Morris : dats wow |
[2012-09-29] Ofir: The best music player around!!! I love this player so much, it does everything I need, loads of options and all working as supposed to. Maximum performance at minimum reqs. A must have application on every Android device. Looks like the creator of this program has a great musical taste as shown in the screenshots, and so are the results! The only downside is no lyrics display. Hopefully this feature will be added soon. Other than that - worth every single coin! |
[2012-09-29] Jeff: Great App I tried out a bunch of different players, and this one is by far the best. Gapless playback is flawless and the devoloper is constantly releasing updates making the app even better |
[2012-09-29] Cameron: Killa cam $uper |
[2012-09-28] Andrew: It supports albumartist metadat The interface is clean, responsive, and customizable. Albumartist is used to sort albums. You can have playback resume when something plugs in. |
[2012-09-27] phil: Best music app Hands down the best music player. Got it for the gapless playback and dint have any reason to switch. UI is amazing and I now use my phone for all music needs. Toss the iProduct ladies and gentlemen, this app is incredible. |
[2012-09-27] Justin: What I was looking for It's ridiculous how many music player apps that are out there that can't do the simple functions I need. I set out looking for a music player that I could filter the folder, shuffle all of my music, and most importantly, when I select a song, have it goes BACK to shuffle after that song is played. This app gave that option and MANY more. I don't buy apps that often, especially not at full price, but I was too excited when I found this one. My only gripe is the icon. It sticks out like a sore thumb in the app drawer ;D |
[2012-09-27] kazolar: The best music player for android. This is by far the best music player out there. The developer is responsive and is over helpful. I stopped using my iPod when I got a 64 gig card, now when I compare it with this its just not a fair fight. |
[2012-09-26] Scott: Scott Not all that great does not go to the next song in the list, Power Amp is better, this app needs work. |
[2012-09-25] Rasmus: Nice player with one minor annoyance Please make it play completely added multi-CD albums correctly. gonemad can read the Discnumber tag, so it should consider it in its playlist sorting |
[2012-09-24] Steven: exactly what I was looking for Real support for m3u playlists, folder play as well as tag-based play, and enough customization options to make it behave just the way I want it to. |
[2012-09-24] Alex: Sweet Was looking for a player that plays wma files and this worked. So happy. Just sucks its a 14day trail |
[2012-09-24] J: Crossfade! Wow the crossfade are awesome I could DJ with this app |
[2012-09-24] Muwanguzi: Dre Hope it doesn't over crash like it used to |
[2012-09-23] Brody: Gapless playback Is awesome |
[2012-09-22] Pink: The Best This is Better than POWER AMP, EVERYTHING, A MUST HAVE, A KEEPER |
[2012-09-22] T: Baddazz Worth it |
[2012-09-20] John: Flac and APE Very nice player. Live all the formats. |
[2012-09-19] Ben: Best player on the market. I have tried almost every player on the market and as a music lover (could say audiophile) I believe this is the most practical and intuitive on the market. The UI is the best out of every serious music player that supports flac, ogg, etc. My one and only gripe is that it does not support anything over 16/44 (Unless I'm Missing something, in which case please let me know :D) |
[2012-09-18] jackie: Dope I love this player. |
[2012-09-18] 华星: 完美支持cue,gbk文件需要转化成utf8的 |
[2012-09-18] Tyler: Amazing Absolutely The Best ! ! |
[2012-09-18] spicole: Samsung skyrocket 2 Its alright |
[2012-09-18] Chelita: Great job! Only wish you could make the tag edit and album art cover reflect also in the default music player that comes with the users device. |
[2012-09-16] Jesse: I love it! I'm buying the full version. It would be nice if I could delete the songs in the songs/playlist/albums icon in the app, but the features are absoloutly endless! This is my favorite app thanks gmmp! |
[2012-09-15] anket: Dj track Very nice brouser let get it! |
[2012-09-15] Andres: Excelent Very good! |
[2012-09-14] Adrian: All good except... No aac file extension support, thus not able to play all songs. |
[2012-09-14] Pavan: Awesome I really like it. Plz release pro version |
[2012-09-13] Chris: Chris Best Music Player for Android! The customization is perfect for those who are focused on organizing their music. |
[2012-09-13] prateek: Best !! I love this player.. Its the best. And exactly like.. What i am searching for..i gave it 4 star becoz it get crash sometimes.when you change a song ..otherwise i'll give it 5.. :-) |
[2012-09-13] Sihmm: The Best The best Android music player by far, it does everything I could possibly want and way more than I expected after trying the other players out there. Also looks great and has a customizable UI. Supports a variety of file and playlist formats, an incredible array of options, in-ap file management, flexible path use (some players lock you down to their own directory structure, this is happy with whereever you put your music files/playlists)... this is the audio player I've been looking for ever since I got Android! |
[2012-09-12] Glen: Glen I just downloaded, I really like this app so far... Lg-p999 |
[2012-09-09] RMStringer: Great I used the stock player (ics) and found it lacking. Went to Winamp pro and it would show me double albums. Love this app the best. So many options! Repeat would be nice. Need it for tablet! |
[2012-09-09] Adrian: Worth paying for... To say that the only problem is that you have to pay for it isn't a problem. I think a good music player (that handles gapless MP3 and FLAC flawlessly) is worth the small amount the developer is asking for. I had a few questions before buying it and all of my questions were asked quickly. Worth every penny and then some. |
[2012-09-08] Njogu: Great app I love it the only problem is that its a trial bt nonetheless its great app..... download download download |
