BubbleUPnP (v. 1.3.2) Разработано Bubblesoft |
BubbleUPnP is a full featured UPnP/DLNA Control Point, UPnP Media Renderer and UPnP Media Server. Play easily your music and videos on your phone and devices on your network (DLNA TVs, XMBC, WMP, ...), from your external UPnP Media Servers. Play your phone/tablet media to those devices.
Browse and play your local phone/tablet media from other devices (PS3, ...).
BubbleUPnP can also be used as a standalone music player, even without any network connection.
Free version has some limitations (see end of this description) that can be removed by purchasing the BubbleUPnP License app.
Optional Internet Streaming:
More than just regular LAN streaming, BubbleUPnP can also stream efficiently your media via the Internet over a mobile or WiFi connection. Internet streaming requires installing server software "BubbleUPnP Server" running on Windows, MacOS X, Linux or a NAS (it is not required for regular LAN streaming, see NOTE below). To learn more about BubbleUPnP Server and Internet streaming visit http://bubbleguuum.free.fr/upnpserver
NOTE: YOU DO NOT NEED TO INSTALL BUBBLEUPNP SERVER FOR REGULAR UPNP/DLNA LAN STREAMING.
Please submit any feedback and issues on http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1118891. For issues you can contact me directly as there is no way I can contact you with Market comments.

[2012-03-12] Arnest: Not good Didn't play flv format. |
[2012-03-11] D-Train: It's like a few apps in one It works so well that I'm in awe. I can serve my phone's iTunes media on the network AND control my Roku player. Thank you! |
[2012-03-11] Alfonso: Seems like a good app. But I couldn't get it you work with my PS3. I like the UI though, but the whole point was to stream music to my PS3. iMediaShare works fine, so I know its not my PS3 or phone. Hopefully will be fixed in the future. |
[2012-03-10] Darren: More complex than anticipated At first view, BubbleUPnP looks like a standard UPnP/DLNA app that Google Play currently has a plethora of, but when you delve deeper, it's more complex than you might think. Not only does it alloy you to stream and/or serve content, it combines both. Using BubbleUPnP, you can pick up content stored on, let's say, a NAS device, and then pass that data onto your XBMC installation on your media PC hooked up to your telly. Great stuff. |
[2012-03-08] the 3/8/2012 : Clean and simple I love it, clean simple and very fast interface for my music (qnap twonkyX& xoom, Nexus + HTC desire). Increased my review to 5 star because of the server component allow me to stream from my NAS to anywhere I get coverage (and the fact it even transcodes to reduce bandwidth when not on WiFi). Awesome |
[2012-03-08] Andrew: Works out of the box So happy, I was looking for a solution to work with WHS 2011 and serviio and this app allows me to stream video & TV series to my galaxy S or galaxy tab straight from the server. |
[2012-03-07] o: Just works but my impression is that with every new update the developer is imposing more and more restrictions on the free version of the software |
[2012-03-07] Andy: Works great. Using it to play music from my desktop to my smart TV. Works great. |
[2012-03-05] Leif: Recommended top 10 Great software. I use it everyday. One of my top 10 pieces of software. |
[2012-03-05] Patrick: Great app I have tried several of these types of apps and this one is the best by far. The others list all of the songs but no albums or playlists. |
[2012-03-03] BiSScuiTT: Excellent Finally, my tablet is complete |
[2012-03-01] Lawrence: Great Great app! Thanks! |
[2012-03-01] JamesAdele: Trail Version! Not free as stated and much too limited in the trial. |
[2012-03-01] Nick: Awesome This app was just what I was looking for. Clean UX, simple to use. Just keep going with the features! |
[2012-02-29] Andy: No zone volume or macro widgets Works better than my Yamaha app, just wish it could handle 'zone' volume RXV2010, and offer better integration pwr / widget macros, etc. |
[2012-02-29] Glen: Nice interface & it works. |
[2012-02-29] JMG: beautiful and fool of features Galaxy tab 7.7 + bubbleupnp + diceplayer + bubbleupnp + XBMC server the killer combination for me... Through diceplayer plays most of video format flawesly except mpeg2 iso.. MX player plays some of the ISO fine.. It be nice if bubbleupnp had an option to select players depending the format as it is known to bubbleupnp.. This might exist but did not find it. |
[2012-02-29] Paul: Amazing app. I'll playing music on my PC, from my phone. Brilliant. Allow me to select and move songs in the play list and I'll give you a 5. |
[2012-02-28] Dave: Excellent Brilliant app. Fast too. Will buy if i can get a download manager view in built.. |
[2012-02-28] Nick: Really good Perfect for what I need |
[2012-02-28] Shazmataz: Fast and works as ps3 pc and sonos remote control but bug with vol jumps the sonos volume to 100% sometimes |
[2012-02-26] Kevin: Works every time! Some people complain about Samsung TV's...not the app...it's your network setup. Try giving the TV's a Static IP (manual setup) instead of the auto setting...I have been using this for awhile with several Samsung TV's....never had a problem...the app is solid....check your network! |
[2012-02-26] Martinta: works like a charm it plays anything from my upnp server fast and reliable and so far without any problems.. htc desire s |
[2012-02-24] TxRxFx: 5 stars now it's fixed the library hanging A fab upnp app, you can depend on this to do the business. Tie this up with mx player and your totally set. Works really well with xbmc upnp service btw. |
[2012-02-23] Jonny: Fantastic NMP! Works with Windows Media Sharing, TVersity & PS3 Media Server to name a few No other software required & local service even shares out your phone's media for other Network Media Players And all for free! Thanks very much - keep up the good work! |
[2012-02-23] Damiano: Problem with remote render on Samsung TV BubbleUPnP is not able to render music stored on a Synology NAS to a Samsung c6000. I always get a 716 error code. Also with Flac I get an error for wrong format even if the NAS is configured for transcoding. Chekhing the advanced option about MIME check doesn't help (I get a 716 error too) Please note in the same conditions, 2Player Network works with mp3 and flac |
[2012-02-20] Jeff: Not a DLNA client Will not work with existing DLNA servers and requires you install their server on your network. In addition, it requires a third-party app to display video -- but this functionality does not appear to work. I was able to get mobovideo to work with UPnPlay, but not BubbleUPnP -- and the author of UPnPlay does not claim you do not need additional software to use their product. |
[2012-02-20] MWR: Dlna client that doesn't quit. Literally. Never turns off. Ever. Program says it had a timeout of fifteen minutes but I've left it closed all night and it's been running in the morning when I woke up. I just want to use a dlna app to watch videos; can the program be made to turn itself off when not in use? |
[2012-02-20] the 2/22/2012 galaxy nexus When I go to library and select a song it adds all my files to playlist and plays the first song. I have to hold to play a particular song. This makes no sense... why have a library if its just all going to be imported by a single tap. Not smooth at all but works great compared to any other... just development issues |
[2012-02-18] Duncan: Solid App Absolutely superb. Used as a Samsung PC Share Manager replacement. So glad I found this. PC software is so unreliable, this is solid. |
[2012-02-18] Chris: Epic Why is advertise on LAN disabled by default, and can we turn off the local media renderer if we only want the server part of the app? |
[2012-02-16] Alex: Wow Ok for once i Found a app to airshare that works perfectly and doesn't crash after 30 min like all the other apps that does the same thing ex: imediashare. Thanks for your hard work |
[2012-02-16] Fred: Looks nice but unable to play any files from my server. Uninstalled. |
[2012-02-15] Sam: Hard to work Works well once set up but, not very easy to set up |
[2012-02-14] Hyung Chul: local server function doesn't work on Galaxy S2 Newly updated server function works very well with my Galaxy Tab 7, but doesn't work with Samsung Galaxy S2(Korean version) when I play the music in my phone through the renderer on PC(WMP 11 renderer). Please solve the issue. |
[2012-02-13] AJ: Easy A+ Very good app just what i was looking for works perfect |
[2012-02-13] abu umar: Srt Waiting for subtitle support.... i hope in the next update will be provided |
[2012-02-12] Paul: Great app Still missing a few features that would be handy, but on the whole it's a very good app |
[2012-02-10] Patou: Awesome for Videos and Music This app is awesome for Videos and Music assuming your DNLA/UPnP server supports all the various media types needed AND you have a render that supports the types also. So far tried it with all my MP3 songs, and .FLV, AVI, MP4, and .Mov files. All work using Moboplayer as a local video renderer. Just some requests: 1) Id like to be able to choose another renderer for audio --- the current one seems to be using CPU cycles where the default player should be decoding MP3 via hardware, saving my battery. 2) Pictures don't seem to work (no thumbnails using TwonkyServer) for the local renderer and I can't choose another (like the gallery) for playback. Highly recommended regardless. |
[2012-02-09] Zac: Amazing! I can stream all my XBMC content to my phone wherever I am! Amazing! BubbleUPnP server was easy to set up, and the app itself works flawlessly on my GNex. |
[2012-02-09] Dean: Great Access to my music and videos on my PC around the house. |
[2012-02-08] paul: Terrible It finds my qnap but cant play a single video file on it. Sucks! |
[2012-02-06] Rob: Great so far. Played ogg vorbis to my denon avr once mime type check was disabled. |
[2012-02-06] Rafał: Perfect but does not work + The best one when it worked for first 15 minutes of my test. + The quickest one in finding Servers and renderes. + Great UI - problem when playing content from PS3 media server on Sony Bravia KDL EX500 (meta-type ignored), results in "setavtransporturi" error. Looks like it works only with root directories (but not 100% sure, stoped working after few more iterations and not show this error all the time). (running on SGS2) -< one start reason. |
[2012-02-05] SUI: Perfect for local rendering. Can see all media on my NAS and playback fine. I wish it would use Google Music player as local renderer not the built in one though! |
[2012-02-05] Andy: Best I found so far Great app, good update would be to allow it to be one of the programs that can run when Sony Tablet S is in its cradle. |
[2012-02-04] DJ: Pucker, Nice1 :o} |
[2012-02-04] Martin: Excellent! I was looking for a controller as good as Kinsky or Chorus for iPhone and found it. Local rendering a nice bonus. Simple, clear user interface but also fully functional and free. I would be willing to pay for this but the licence doesn't really add much to the free version. |
[2012-02-04] Alan: Google Music Streaming to Reciva Radio Do this and I will gladly donate |
[2012-02-03] Blacknight: Great app Thanks for being free |
[2012-02-03] Tanir: Excellent! It is possible to control renderer and player separately. Very nice interface. |
[2012-02-02] Walter: Codex support sucks Won't play mp4 video. |
[2012-02-02] pean: Useful excellent app use both as remote and for local viewing. Slow on finding servers though so only four stars |
[2012-02-01] mikahe: Does not render locally .jpg images at all?! Videos and music is playing ok in Galaxy Nexus (Android 4.0 by Samsung). TwonkyMedia server in QNAP NAS. EDIT: Works in v.1.3.0. |
[2012-02-01] PiRX: This app is... ... simple amazing. Moto Defy with WDTV Live, over wifi. No freezes, no lags, it works like an invisible hdmi cable. And the GUI is well made. Thank you guys! |
[2012-01-28] Tokeem: Constant force close on Galaxy Tab 10.1 No functionality for me. Couldn't figure out why. Ended up using "UPnPlay" instead. That worked for me. |
[2012-01-28] Huwbutts: Perfect Devs, take note: THIS is how you make an app. |
[2012-01-27] Ant: There was a problem initialising the upnp service blah blah... |
[2012-01-26] Mark: Misleading App should be able to automatically detect available upnp &dlna servers. |
[2012-01-26] Prashanth: Wow Does what it says |
[2012-01-25] Noel: thank you You did what Skifta couldnt. Can't however choose my device as library I can see my music library. Thank you will be buying full version. |
[2012-01-24] Cirro: Does almost everything I need Hopefully stream from phone/tablet to device is supported soon. Other than that this is a must have app |
[2012-01-23] Seth: one of a kind, and it works! Its like airplay for the Google environment, plus a whole lot more! Finally found a slick app that upnp pushes my media library on my desktop PC to my Google TV... all controlled by my Samsung galaxy nexus! Great for keeping the playlist going during parties, friends are over, etc. |
[2012-01-22] Andrew: works well |
[2012-01-22] Mike: Couldn't find media server Lame. Other apps detect the server but bubbleupnp doesn't want to know. |
[2012-01-20] rossgeography: Crashes on Book Tablet LAST VERSION WORKED GREAT ... |
[2012-01-20] llcb: worth paying Excellent app. Tried several apps prior to this one and bubbleupnp consistently fared better in many areas. Well thought out and a clean interface. |
[2012-01-19] Kathy: Fantastic app I am using this with mx video player pro on my Vizio tablet and a playon server on my Vista laptop. Also using a sony bdp x58 blueray as renderer for my hd tv. It has worked flawlessly streaming home movies and Internet content to my tv and tablet and I love the control point function. Fantastic product!!! |
[2012-01-19] John: Couldn't play anything. Galaxy Nexus with PlayOn server. Found the media but couldn't play any of it. |
[2012-01-17] Richard: useless on google tv Expects a touch interface. To scroll I need to click and drag the list of songs like you would on a touchscreen. Keyboard doesn't seem to work at all. I can't, for example, type in the search field. My guess is they never tested this for GTV. Not worth the free price, total waste of time. |
[2012-01-17] Richard: Works well Not the best of comment leavers but here we go. Detects my NAS just fine. Lists all my movies but had to download mx player to play them as they're mkvs etc.... Use this when on a heavy session the day after a curry. |
[2012-01-17] Tom: Best upnp client This is the only upnp client I have found that plays all my videos correctly (combined with mx video player). Can't get out to show photos though.. Bought the license and very pleased with ad free. |
[2012-01-16] ?: decent app when licensed wish the UI was better optimized for high resolution devices, ie galaxy nexus. font size options would be nice too. if these were fixed, I'd give this a full five stars. *edit* UI seems cleaner so thank you devs. |
[2012-01-14] Reid: Hidden charms Downloaded this to stream content from an xbmc server, I didn't expect it to be able to act as a remote control for my popcorn hour A110. It's worth using just for that. |
[2012-01-13] RichardF: Not quite perfect Please show the higher res album art on tablets - looks terrible. Otherwise top notch! |
[2012-01-12] Luis: Perfect Combined with mxplayer and I can stream all of my videos. (evo4g with cm7) |
[2012-01-10] luis: Best media server player and is free i tryed paid apps but they all sucked |
[2012-01-07] samblake: Best upnp player The only upnp player that worked with my super old NAS. |
[2012-01-07] Serdar: Wow! I have 3 different media players all over the house from Marantz to WDTV Live and my HTC Desire controls them with ease. So good I bought it. Developers like these need support. Thanks. |
[2012-01-06] Adam: Rubbish |
[2012-01-05] Jessica: Great app Worked flawlessly right out of the gate. Great app!! |
[2012-01-02] Bramar: Brilliant! With a decent video player such as Max this is the best! |
[2012-01-02] peter: Whs with Samsung TV Works well with WHS and Samsung. Allows media streaming with ff and rewind. Something missing with the Samsung dlna player. |
[2011-12-31] Sam Wong: Far better than Skitfa |
[2011-12-31] Russell: Ugly but works great Lets me play media on my windows 7 home premium desktop without any configuration. Great! Did not require me to install a server. |
[2011-12-30] Jarrod: Awesome Only one that would work with media monkey for me. Only complaint is the UI could use an upgrade |
[2011-12-29] AdBehrle: Crashes Worked until update 1.2.1. Now crashes when trying to browse library after selecting a device. Samsung galaxy s |
[2011-12-27] craig: Sony sa-ns300 I have a sony sa-ns300 wireless network speaker and this app works very well.. streams faster than sony,s app but it cant play local files if it could I would have given it 5 stars |
[2011-12-26] Sam: 16 track play list. 30 minutes limit. This is an annoying limited trial. Rather useless and frustrating. |
[2011-12-26] Polat: No good. No open. Uninstalled. |
[2011-12-25] Rich: Love it Got this and MX video player on both my galaxy nexus and my xoom, and it's a winning combination on both. I stream from my win PC which I just leave on all the time. |
[2011-12-20] the 12/23/2011 Cooperstown. Amazing. Just what I was looking for! |
[2011-12-18] the 12/20/2011 DLNA? I don't know what this is but it isn't DLNA. It needs setup of a special server and this client has an elaborate setup wizard. |
[2011-12-17] Matthew: Great app. Functional, easy to use DLNA app. Well worth the license :-) |
[2011-12-17] John: Kept moaning Everytime i pressed anything it was telling me about the restrictions in the free version. annoying to be honest so i ditched it. |
[2011-12-16] Simon: Great app Device discovery problem now resloved. Thanks. Galaxy S2 |
