Do you sometimes ask yourself what is the best way to remote control Winamp® with your Android Smartphone?

Here is the answer:

aWARemote for Winamp® is a WiFi remote control for Winamp® providing the following features:
-Play/Pause, Next, Previous
-Playlist and basic editing
-Media Library (Audio and Playlists, DEMO with up to 400 Songs)
-access saved playlists in Winamp® (max 4 in free version)
-Widget
-Equalizer
-Album Cover
-AND MUCH MORE TO FIND OUT!

Check Preferences for Performance options and additional features.

You just need to install the server application from www.geb-dev.de (click on "Get Free Server") and (in the app) enter the IP Address of the host computer where Winamp runs.

If you have problems, uninstall my old app and reinstall this or send an email to gebdev@gmail.com

Can't wait I love this app for chilling out in the backyard. You just can beat putting your phone in a zip-lock bag and pulling up "Wish You Were Here" while bobbing around in the pool on a warm summer night :) Sadly it's not working since I moved to a Samsung Galaxy Nexus but the developer (who was quick to respond to an e-mail inquiry, Thanks George) said he was working on getting it up to snuff for ICS. I can't wait to see it; It'll fit in VERY nicely with the ICS "Holo" theme.

Great app, but interface broken on Tablet Great app, I really like the interface but the app interface does not support tablets... Running it on Galaxy Tab 10.1v and the interface is quite scrambled... (it is perfect on my HTC Desire though). Please fix interface for the Tab, then i'll definitely buy the full app :) Thanx.

Love it! Nice interface. Tried several other apps with no luck connecting, this one worked straight away. Would be great if the shutdown option could be disabled in settings or at least have a confirmation box, as I have already hit it accidentally!
