Audio Speed Changer (v. 1.2.1) Разработано Gabriel Simões |
Audio Speed Changer allows you to modify the playback speed of your audio files "on the fly" (realtime), without changing their audible characteristics. It can be used to help transcribing audio, to save time listening to audiobooks/podcasts, to practice dance steps or just to have fun!
How it works: Choose a file, all songs from a folder or a whole album from your personal collection, limit the time frame you want to listen to, set the percentage of speed change you want to apply and just press play!
List of features:
- Supported audio formats: mp3, wav.
- Load songs, folders or whole albums (press and hold for options)
- Search songs by music library or folders
- Speed up or slow down audio up to 200% (0.25x - 4x in speed)
- Start and End markers: limit the timeframe you want to listen to by drag&drop or precise setting.
- Song Position marker: set the position you want to start listening to at any time!
- A-B Loop and repeat mode
- Plays in background
- Auto saves configuration for each song
- Auto saves song's position for the next time a song is loaded

[2011-06-10] Gabriel Simões: Adam, ASC doesnt convert any file in your device, nor block their use. Please double check the apps you have recently installed. Tnx |
[2011-06-08] Adam: This works as advertized, but it converts all audio files to wav and you cant listen to them anywhere but here |
[2011-05-30] Brian: Only seems to work when I download songs from Amazon, but it works as advertised. Would be awesome if you could alter the pitch as well. |
[2011-05-24] WarfanaX: Awesome app. But can you also add transpose function? I am using this program to play guitar. If u add that it will be wonderful. |
[2011-05-18] Chloe: Worthless for audio books For any audio book with multiple files, you have to search for each file one at a time after the previous one plays. It takes a few seconds to load & start as well. It won't save your place, neither in the search list nor an audio file. This is hell for audio books with dozens of files. |
[2011-05-17] Dominic: I downloaded this morning since then sound quality has plumited im uninstalling and trying again. |
[2011-05-13] Nick: What are normal speeds for a cell phone? I have an HTC inspire on ATT and I feel like I'm getting next to nothing .3-1.2mbps down and like .6-1.2m up? |
[2011-04-30] Thomas: Would b a great app if a) there was a current time ticker & b) u could set start & end points with a touch of the respective button vs. using roller. |
[2011-04-23] Joe: Upon application launch it is forced to closed. - HTC Incredible Android version: 2.2. |
[2011-04-18] james: Works but messes up after a few songs |
[2011-04-17] Finnur: Zoomfunction would be nice! |
[2011-04-16] srackham: Great app Works brilliantly on my LG Optimus 500, would be more than happy to pay for a pro version. |
[2011-04-10] Muyiwa: Why can't it read format from itunes? |
[2011-04-07] dmanbwxe: Excellent app. Slowing down parts makes it easier to learn songs. Great stuff. |
[2011-04-06] Josephine : I think this is soooo cool but it keeps force closing...:( fixx |
[2011-04-02] David: I like this app but it doesn't work anymore. Just force closes upon start. Requesting fix (for Droid Incredible) |
[2011-03-20] Jamie: WOULDA GOT FIVE STARS IF U COULD SAVE THE FILES.... OTHER THAN THAT THIS APP IS PERFECT ON MY EVO:-) |
[2011-03-17] Ayman: It works really well...as long as the screen is on im using this on my samsung galaxy tab and there are a couple things that need to be fixed. first off, when the screen turns off and i turn it back on the app becomes unresponsive. pressing play doesnt do anything and when i try to move the slider it doesnt work. it just completely locks up which is annoying because it takes time for it to start up again. another thing i would like to see is to be able to use this in landscape mode. works great overall, i use to to speed up my lectures that i recorded. |
[2011-03-02] Jim: Awesome - great for saving time podcasts. Be 5 stars if had skip fwd/back 20sec, browse by folder for mp3, & if Android would see as available player. |
[2011-02-28] Kelino: This app sucks it keeps forclosing on me uninstall |
[2011-02-26] jarvis: Works great on mytouch 4g running nexus gingerbread ... |
[2011-02-24] greg: Locked up phone Not sure what happened. Was listening to podcast a 50% increased speed, screen would not go to sleep. I pressed the power button and the phone locked up. I had to pull the battery & restart. I'll try again. It sounded fine while running. |
[2011-02-23] jonathan: Garbage barely functional and I'm on mytouch 4g so you can't blame this phone. Its really slow and freezes up every 3 seconds. First app to run slow. |
[2011-02-14] Luke: Works pretty good. About the same when I slow songs down on garageband. |
[2011-02-11] Ryan Stewart: Absolutely Perfect I use this to listen to lectures at 150% and the audio quality is excellent. A+ |
[2011-02-08] travis: Need to be able to save to sd card plz!! Other than that great..... |

[2011-02-07] berish9: Awesome!!! |
[2011-02-06] Freddie: Works great. The only thing that will make this perfect is the ability to save the altered files. Droid X |
[2011-02-06] Praveen: Another great app after mobile metronome pro! Awesome work Gabriel! |

[2011-02-02] miniwheats94: I love it and i use it to transcribe sax solos! However the song gets a little distorted when you slow it down...is this unavoidable? |
[2011-02-01] T-HomeDawg: The best thing is that my songs don't go chipmonk on me.. haha. Could use bar scrollig across the waveform or a current time ticker. |
[2011-01-31] lorimer: truly amazing |
[2011-01-31] JerJer: Liked the app itself, but not its still running in the background after closing. |
[2011-01-30] Chris: This is so cool can't believe how well it works |
