aABC Music Browser (v. 0.3.3) Разработано Steve Merrony |
aABC displays, searches and plays ABC music files directly on your Android phone or tablet. You can resize the music and rotate the device to suit your needs - the music gets automatically reformatted to fit.
ABC is a well-established, concise and intuitive music notation language. It is easy to notate your own music with ABC and there are many large collections of ABC music from all sorts of different genres on the web.

[2012-10-19] Anal: NOT a online browser It doesn't search in online archives and I can't even get a refund |

[2012-10-12] Dvae: Needs work on offline use As has been said the play system needs to be on screen with the tempo change. Biggest problem is the licence checking -- you cannnot work offline for any length of time. So it is useless when there is no wifi or data connection. This has not yet been solved, the developer has been informed by PM about this. I am sure the ABC side will continue to improve but I find Tunepal is at present way ahead. It will be interesting to see if the developer can solve ABC's inherent problem of mis-matched timing with multi voice pieces -- a known problem within abc. |

[2012-08-21] the 9/21/2012 Good but... Excellent rendering, but it doesn't offer to keep the screen awake so unusable to actually play tunes from the device. Would also love to see tablet UI but the wake lock is the most essential thing. Regrettably I have to refund it. |

[2012-07-13] Shiyin: 5 stars for existing features & support Existing features perform well. Developer has more than once responded to problems & soon solved them in updates. I'm looking forward to multi-voices & optimisation for tablet screen. |

[2012-06-19] syale: Excellent Great piece of software. If the audio controls were on the page as opposed to the menu it would have got 5 star's! |
|
[2012-05-18] Paul: Great app, a suggestion though. The return arrow key on android exits the app, better to return to the tune list, then files, then finallyexit. |

[2012-04-30] Rob: Nice to be able to take all my musical scores with me. Would like choice of instruments & chord accompaniment. Could a repeat play button be added? |
|
[2012-02-19] Louise: excellent app Great app, I now have my own personal mobil music reference libuary, easy to use and available offline. |
|
[2012-01-10] RickJ: Great ABC viewer/player Excellent ABC app, clear score display and plays well. A few features missing, but still actively developed. Developer very responsive. |
|
[2011-07-30] Thomas: Great app. Wish there was a search feature. Barfly for Mac searches all files in given folder which is very useful indeed. |
|
[2011-07-30] Louis: Fantastic an ABC player and viewer that does not need an internet connection. The UI is great. |

[2011-06-28] Rob: Nice to be able to take all my musical scores with me. Would like choice of instruments & chord accompaniment. Excellent update - thanks. |

[2011-06-04] Louis: Fantastic an ABC player and viewer that does not need an internet connection. The UI is great. Unfortunately the player does not do repeats (yet?). |

[2011-05-08] Whistler: Great start Stephen; Love having this app with me One difficulty and a suggestion. 1) Difficulty: I have a lot of abc files with the key specified as K:Dmaj K:Gmaj or K:Ador. aABC seems to ignore these and only handle simple key statement such as K:D K:G etc. 2) I have hundreds of abc files on my phone. A search capability would be great rather than having to scroll to the file. Not a big deal, but would be nice. Keep up the great work on this app. |

[2011-01-10] Simon: A lot of potential! Much needed app for Android. For multi-tune files, please make it possible move to the next and previous song with paging function |
