WavPlayer (v. 2.14) Разработано Dennis Lockshine |
The best wav player / audio player for VoIP (Voice over IP) voice-mail files sent to you as email attachments from Magic Jack, Vonage, Asterisk and more.
Plays many types of audio file formats that Android does not support. These can be email attachments or files downloaded to your SD card, like wav voice-mail, music, midi, and many other file formats. Note: To play files from the SD card, install a file manager application (ES File Explorer is an excellent choice)
WavPlayer is designed to be a lightweight application. Once another task is started or the application loses focus, WavPlayer will quit and free all system resources.
DROID USERS: To fix the 1-second skip/loop bug in wav files, enable the 'Favor custom decoder' option in the settings.

[2013-06-28] A Google User: Very nice app for my work emails with .wav Just downloaded it. I tried everything on my Samsung S3 to get the emails with .wav attachments going, but to no avail. This works flawlessly, crisp, clear voice messages. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. Thanks! |
[2013-06-24] A Google User: Plays nice and loud but... The controls are not showing, just a black little popup. Only the two icons on top left and right show. The dev responded to my issue asking me to try reboot which didn't help. So now waiting on his next response. If it gets fixed I'll bump it to 5 stars. |

[2013-04-23] A Google User: Somebody Finally Got It Right I've been looking for an App like this for a while. I needed an App to play Voicemail WAV Files from Vonage and this App is awesome. I love how it can auto detect if I have the phone up to my head and pay the sound through the earpiece and then through the speaker if I move the phone away. Thank you very much! |
[2013-04-21] A Google User: WavPlayer This program works perfect on my lg Optimus phone. I paid for the upgrade and it was well worth the money. I had previously downloaded a remote wave and a few other programs that are offered for free and they were absolute junk. I could barely hear the messages and there was no real volume control. So far this this program works perfectly on my phone and I would highly recommend it. |

[2013-04-19] A Google User: Works perfect I get my voice mails sent to me as WAV files. Remarkably Android does not build in support for such files. This app works every time. It never crashes. It launches quickly and runs smoothly. Never a glitch. It is perfect for its purpose. |

[2013-02-22] A Google User: Finally a wav player that works Like another reviewer said, I needed to play some voicemail I receive straight to my phone through email. I tried every music player out there that claimed to play wav filed but had no luck. This works like a charm! |

[2013-01-29] A Google User: Works as advertised, used with Vonage voice mails Plays WAV files as anticipated. Good choice for a buck since a lot of custom ROMs do not have an application that works or is associated to WAV files. |
[2013-01-27] A Google User: I am impressed This is the only player I found that could play wav files on my Atrix 4G. I tried about 6 others including all of the big names. I am trying to play lossless wav ripped from a meditation cd. It's about 30 minutes and 300MB. The first time I tried it skipped horribly. After a phone reboot it played beautifully. There is a short pause as it loads when it looks like it did not work. Then it starts. Wonderful. Well worth the dollar. |
[2013-01-24] A Google User: Awesome product for. Wav files for MajicJack I tried several. Wav players and this is the only one to work perfectly for voicemail messages sent via MajicJack |

[2012-12-22] A Google User: Don't wast your time with this app Not worth .99 |
[2012-12-17] A Google User: Very Awesome to use with Magicjack***** I have been searching for a wav player that would play my emails sent to my android phone via MagicJack. Once I installed it, all I had to do was grab the message and attempt to play it. and when the option came up for me to decide what I wanted to use to play my voice mail, I selected "Set as default" option and then selected WavPlayer. This is the first app that does this. I haven't played with it at all beyond this but I am looking forward to trying it as an MP3 player as I have heard great things about it. Thanks Dennis Lockshine!! |
[2012-12-17] A Google User: I never rate apps till I use them for awhile! However I used for 1day and I love it works great well worth the $$$$!!! |
[2012-12-12] A Google User: Also works with nettalk email voice mails. As a lot of users have come across, weird wav files from voice mails, this is THE APP you NEED for playing voice mails in emails. well worth the 99¢. I looked around for a free app, but this app worked better than anything else in the app market. Just get it and save the headaches. |
[2012-12-11] A Google User: will not install i get an error message each time i try to install. really do i know have to go thru a refund process for an app that is suppose to be so great |
[2012-12-11] A Google User: NetTalk User I tried all the free WAV applications but none of them would play email WAV files from netTalk on my Samsung Galaxy III. This one works beautifully and it's only $0.99! I would recommend it highly just like everyone else has. |
[2012-11-30] A Google User: Bad It will not download on my Samsung Galaxy. Use to be great until an upgrade. |
[2012-11-28] A Google User: The wav solution Wav playing, for my voice messages in email, went to work instantly. Cool. |

[2012-11-16] A Google User: Finally I haven't been able to play my work voicemails from email attachments on the ATRIX. I tied 10 plus players but none worked. Wavplayer does! |

[2012-11-08] A Google User: Does what it says. Filling the gap where Google failed. |
[2012-11-08] A Google User: Does the job Works great. Can't believe native tools don't... |
[2012-11-06] A Google User: magic jack Thank you Don - worked with messages! |
[2012-10-25] A Google User: I don't always review apps But when I do, it's because they're awesome! This is the perfect app for forwarded voicemail, period. Seriously, it pops up in a partial window overlaying your email. It has quick buttons to rewind, fast forward, and pause/play, of course. What's great is, it gives you single click buttons to amplify the volume beyond typical max, and to switch between the speaker and ear piece. Open the app from your drawer to set defaults on all these things, and it even has face detection like the phone app. Seriously, good job Dennis, you got it perfect. |
[2012-10-25] A Google User: Perfect for playing voice mail from NetTalk I use NetTalk - which sends voice mail as .wav attachments. My Nexus didn't like them & none of my installed music apps (Play, Amazon MP3 or Doubletwist) would play them. I bought WavPlayer and it is exactly what I needed. Not only does it play the .wav files, but you can set it to be the default program so clicking on the files in my email automatically plays them on WavPlayer. Plus - you can choose to listen to them over speaker or via the phone earpiece. This is awesome and means I no longer have to play my voicemail out loud in the office :) Awesome app, just what I needed. |
[2012-10-22] A Google User: Excellent App With the lack of support of certain wav files built into Android this app saved the day. My work voicemails are forwarded to my phone and instead of having to phone in or access the voicemail through a computer this app let's me do it right on my phone. |
[2012-10-17] A Google User: Solved my voip messages Great app - finally an android solution for vonage and magic-jack voice messages!! Thanks!! |
[2012-10-10] A Google User: MagicJack WAV Player works great! I bought this app because my stock/rooted Samsung Galaxy S3 could not play a simple WAV file attached to a MagicJack voicemail email notification. This app played the file - straight forward - nothing complicated - excellent app! |
[2012-10-06] A Google User: Works with Magic Jack email notifications I had almost given up on Magic Jack because it had some odd ball type of wav file for their email notifications. I could not open with any other program on my Android Ice Cream Sandwhich except this app. Sounds great too! Thank you |
[2012-10-06] A Google User: Awesome Been having trouble with other apps not playing my .wav VOip emailed to me. This app will play the voice mail that I have emailed to me whenever I have voicemail on my office phone. Works great!! Definitely worth the .99. Thanks. |
[2012-10-05] A Google User: Real happy Use this for my voicemail from the office. Perfect, easy to use, goes away when it is done, very fast |

[2012-09-25] A Google User: Great app for voicemail. I have NetTalk Duo and receive voicemail emails that include wav files. Works perfect for this and any voip voicemail systems like Magicjack as well! Even works on the Nexus 7 as well! |
[2012-09-23] A Google User: Quick, clean, and lightweight player Is started from your favourite file manager, instead of using some internal cumbersome file interface. |
[2012-09-22] A Google User: Great Plays wav files from emails perfectly |
[2012-09-21] A Google User: Makes Android THE music phone As a musician and music producer, I often need to listen to progress mixes and demos in a variety of formats on the go. I was disappointed that my Galaxy S3 couldn't play WAV files natively. But with WAVPlayer now I can listen to music in WAV and many other formats any time. At first the interface seems tricky, but it is so simple as to be ingenious. Just tap any audio in an email or file browser to listen. Wonderful. I only wish there were an Android widget for playlists. |
[2012-09-19] A Google User: Best Value This thing works. Seamlessly plays voice attachments. Good job!!! |
[2012-09-09] A Google User: Awesome!!!! |
