Mostly good Great for streaming content , unfortunately my nexus 7 does not properly communicate when it is tilting, so the video never takes up a full screen. Hopefully this will be fixed in a future version.

Good concept but... On my Xoom with ICS I get no directories showing from my server PC and on my Bionic I get the directories but it crashes so hard at first I thought my phone was going to need the battery pulled. K couldn't 'ok' or 'report' the crash but after like a minute or 1:30 minutes it freed up and went to main screen. I love the concept and I LOVE VLC!!!! Not sure whether devs check these reviews but will also try contacting them to see if I can provide any debug info and will upgrade review after. This is wifi not 4G...

VLC 2.0.1 Instructions To make it work on VLC 2: Locate the (hidden) .hosts file in the VLC directory (lua/http/.hosts) and edit it with a text editor. Go to the part of the file that says: #::/0 #0.0.0.0/0 And remove the two hashes.Save the file, restart your VLC and enjoy! (Mac users can download Houdini to view hidden files and access this file by going to the VLC.app file, right click and select 'show package contents' and find it in the directory "Contents/MacOS/share/lua/http/.hosts"

Bad Force closes in the menus before I can even try to stream something on this and my Galaxy Nexus. Have to change orientation to vertical on tablet to access menus.

Asus Transformer Prime Great app the only problem with it is when I open it it would not allow me to go into the menu unless I change the orientation of the screen. This is really not helpful when you have the docking station, suggested update should be one where you can go straight into the menu without having to change the orientation every time I want to go into the menu

vlc 2.0 issues had it installed with vlc 1.1 and it worked perfectly. but as i updated to vlc 2.0 it won't stream via rstp at all, and it force closes whenever i click on the browse tab. it's a great app and i hope the developers keep up with vlc updates and take notice of these bugs. ps. for those who can't get it work at all even with earlier versions of vlc, read the description. plus there are quite a few tutorials out there it shouldnt take more than 3 min to find a good one

How about simpler instructions and... A list of mobile providers who block packets would be nice. Spent hours trying to set up on ReZound with Win 7 and what a waste. Your instructions stink. Don't bother, wait for a real app from hobbyist. This guy made it for his nexus, not everyone, then got greedy. It's apps like this that make owning a android phone useless.
