[2013-07-29] A Google User: An app that actually works! Works great, only thing I find is that it doesn't sync protected files from iTunes. Not a major problem as with a bit of fiddling about I can get round this. |
[2013-07-25] A Google User: THANK YOU!! Egads, what I would have done to find this program earlier.. HTC Sync Manager is nothing short of a pain in the a** to work with, so I needed something better.. one quick google pointed me to this. So far, works like a charm, and I appreciate the option for both wired and wireless sync, as well as choice of where it will copy the files to. Only qualm is once you've selected the playlist to copy, it's not immediately obvious what to do to sync.. perhaps a 'confirm' or 'save' or something button? Great app! |
[2013-07-24] A Google User: Great Application I used S3.I would like to give a 5 but need to speed up faster. |
[2013-07-24] A Google User: Slow Move from iSyncr, but it sync every song in playlist, every time, including songs allready synced. |
[2013-07-14] A Google User: Absolutely worth the money Hands down the best thing to get your itunes music playlists basically all your music needs on your android just as easy as an iphone ipod |
[2013-07-12] A Google User: Change music location option.. You should give us the option to sync music to music file on phone or music file on SD.. we can't move it |
[2013-07-07] A Google User: like |
[2013-07-05] A Google User: Not worth price It is not syncing all the music I want. Other then that good |
[2013-06-29] A Google User: Sucks Does not connect to computer |
[2013-06-26] A Google User: Good but doesn't put songs on SD card easily I just installed this on my Galaxy S4 and although it says the stock setting should place songs on my external SD card, it is putting them the internal storage. I've tried different settings that I would think would work ( /sdcard/externall_sd/Music and /sdcard/Music ) and neither of those did the trick either. Also there is an option to select it to only upload songs that are checked in your iTunes folders which didn't work either. All that being said from what I have seen with other syncing options on the market (which all did a worse job that this one) it is the best I've tried so far... now to just figure out the right pathway for my tunes. |
[2013-06-22] A Google User: Mixed feelings It worked great until the latest update on the mac software. I couldn't connect to the computer, i checked the connection and firewall (did not change any previous working settings) but still it did not work. Not even the manual connection worked. It also won't sync wired! Please help |
[2013-06-19] A Google User: Tunesync Good |
[2013-06-05] A Google User: Best app ever! This app made it extremely easy for a "reformed" iphone user to get the thousands of songs off her iTunes and onto her new Note 2! |
[2013-05-31] A Google User: Perfect Worth the price if you ask me. All other iTunes to android apps always copied my playlist backwards, so for this app to have the option to change that was a win win, plus it even worked with songs I've bought on iTunes. I recommended this app to all my android friends, so far they all love it too. |
[2013-05-28] A Google User: Works Perfectly Syncs my iTunes playlists to my phone perfectly! No issues. |
[2013-05-22] A Google User: Awsome Had double twist for many months and would stop working when switching roms, glad I found this. Syncs fast and easy to use. Totally worth the money. |
[2013-05-20] A Google User: Near seamless! The only thing that would make this app better is if it allowed you to choose where the synced data goes (SD verses phone). This is very easy and works as it should! |
[2013-05-16] A Google User: Mostly works. Not as fast as I would like and network setup is awkward at times. |
[2013-05-13] A Google User: Wow, pure junk. Caused first ever crash on computer and froze my phone, what a gyp! Now I've let it sync multiple times and it synced less than 1/3 of my songs. Plenty of storage left, all mp3, no drm... Is it possible to get a refund if an app 100% fails? |
[2013-05-13] A Google User: Very buggy Wired sync wouldn't initiate. None of the features or controls for wireless are for wired. App force closed alot. Definitely not worth $6 |
[2013-05-12] A Google User: Best, no problems at all Can you make a similar app for iphoto too??? |
[2013-05-04] A Google User: Samsung Galaxy S4 (sync problem) Been using this on my HTC EVO was working fine. But now I got a Galaxy S4 and when sync it gives you a long list of options where to sync files to. Very frustrating keeps syncing to the internal HD using up all my storage space. Would be nice if it was as simple as it was for the HTC EVO. Where you had just 2 options external SD or internal HD. I have tried to sync to the external SD card 3 times know. Very frustrating and time consuming. Please fix this! The 4th time was a charm got it to work. |
[2013-04-29] A Google User: Galaxy s3 Best way to sync music from iTunes to android |
[2013-04-24] A Google User: Exceeds my expectations I like how I can sync my music seamlessly and the one thing I was nervous about is when it is missing artwork when I update in iTunes if it would Sync through tunesync the next time around in it did, that in itself is really awesome. Just hope they will come out with an update to be able to change the bit rate size of the songs. Nice work! |
[2013-04-14] A Google User: it works GREAT!!!!! wonderful app, happy to pay. 5 stars if it can select one single playlist to sync instead of all playlists. well done! |
[2013-04-13] A Google User: Great app, only one complaint This works great for syncing my music from iTunes to my Droid Incredible 4G and my Nexus 7 tablet. Worked like a charm right out of the box (after installing the Mac App that is unobtrusive). My only complaint is when trying to select where to store the music. A browser would be much better than manually entering a path. I wanted to store music on my external SD card on my phone. TuneSync defaulted to /mnt/sdcard which I thought was obviously my external SD. Nope. It's my phone's internal storage. So now I have to try and figure out what path to manually enter for my external. Other than that glitch, it works great. Fix that one thing and it's a 5 star app. |
[2013-04-11] A Google User: Finally good app to sync your iTune music Guys I tried almost all application capable of syncing iTunes to my phone and they work once then second time they messed up my catalogs etc ... Never had good luck. This app I am using now for at last 2 month and works awesome. Finally someone done great job People who can get it working must doing something wrong and I am sure if they would send question to developers they would help them out. Not sure why they put 1 star. That doesn't help anybody. For Kitty - Of course you need server component part and you have to install it on your machine. Good luck to use other apps if yo think this one is bad :) Keep up the good work guys !!!! |
[2013-04-09] A Google User: Love it Simple app does what it needs to do |
[2013-04-09] A Google User: Good but flawed It syncs my music but will not sync the cover art and takes art from other covers on the playlist and fills it in. Please fix this. Kind of annoying. |
[2013-04-04] A Google User: 5 minutes Up, running and synced in 5 minutes. |
[2013-04-01] A Google User: Brilliant. Can download specific playlists over wifi from mac to android. The only drawback is that it re-downloads everything each time, which means it may take a bit longer to sync, if you're syncing 100s of songs. Generally takes 2 seconds per song to sync. |
[2013-03-31] A Google User: Spot on. Turned my phone into an iPod! |
[2013-03-27] A Google User: Scam This is a terrible app.. it looks simple but then you have to go onto your computer and download the app on their.... dont bother.. waste of time |
[2013-03-26] A Google User: Just works Works perfectly for syncing my iTunes playlists to my HTC one X. I set it to sync once a day automatically so I never have to think about it or I can force a sync if I need to. All my latest music shows up on my phone. Great app. |
[2013-03-25] A Google User: Don't work I want a refund |
[2013-03-19] A Google User: Happy Android User I was happy when i had my Nexus, but still teetered on the sticking with Android or defecting to the Apple. The reason was media transferring. I had WinApp and it was ok, but i wasn't happy with. TUNESYNC kept me with Android, the only issue or semi con i have with it, i wish it would automatically detect when changes were made and automatically sync and correct, without having to go in manually and request a new sync |
[2013-03-13] A Google User: Love it. Works great, no need to make Playlist everywhere . You make them on iTunes and from tunesync you choose which one to sync. |
[2013-03-10] A Google User: Performs Exactly as Advertised I needed a fast easy way to transfer my songs and playlists from itunes to my Motorola RAZR. This app was the perfect solution! |
[2013-03-10] A Google User: Works perfectly Runs so much better than my previous method of syncing music with doubletwist. Wireless is a plus. |
[2013-03-09] A Google User: Breaks too often This app is great when it works but it breaks way too often. |
[2013-03-06] A Google User: Still unusable on Mac I've tried a ton of the sync apps and this one WAS the best... not sure when or why, but sync is no longer working like it used to and the only way I can get it to sync is to "clear data" out of the application setting screen and restart it and do it over. Then it works fine, until the next time it needs to sync. Never updates the last sync date after it errors out and "dies". Loved it but may be time to find another app... please fix so I don't have to!! |
[2013-02-18] A Google User: Awesome Never had a problem. This app convinced me to switch from an iPhone. |
[2013-02-17] A Google User: Sucks removed |
[2013-02-17] A Google User: Works pretty perfectly! |
[2013-02-17] A Google User: . Its not bad |
[2013-02-16] A Google User: So F***ing slow This takes forever to sync. It's so annoying |
[2013-02-16] A Google User: Best sync app ever I recently moved to Mac and I was afraid I would have to give up the simplicity and awesomeness that is TuneSync. I was pleasantly surprised to see there was a Mac version available. I would pay for the android app a million times if I could. Ive never had a issue with this app on my S3 or on pc or my mac. |
[2013-02-15] A Google User: Great but... For some reason it removes all playlist when ever it syncs more then once. Ex: first sync playlist are there, second sync playlist are removed. Third sync playlist are put back. Fourth sync playlist are removed again. This is especially annoying when you go to play your music and your playlist aren't there. Other then this the app is great |
[2013-02-14] A Google User: Totally works Finally found something that works. If youre looking for an app to sync your iTunes playlists and or songs, this app will do the job |
[2013-02-09] A Google User: Playlist sync never completes! Send this app is broken. Playlists don't complete sync. |
[2013-02-04] A Google User: Extremely functional, user interface needs touchup This is the first and only app I've found that DOES TRANSFER PLAYLISTS FROM iTUNES instead of just the music files. The iTunes playlists are automatically converted to universal .m3u format which is compatible with many desktop programs. This format is not supported by the default players on most android devices, however. Don't blame TuneSync if playlists don't show up in your default player. The new .m3u playlists are instantly recognized by Poweramp and Winamp on Android devices (both available in the app store). Poweramp is the most capable and user friendly music player by far. It installs as a full-feature 15-day trial then costs $5.99 but worth every penny. The user interface of TuneSync could be more friendly. When clicking the back button of your phone on certain screens it exits the program instead of taking you to the home screen. *Note: Click the icon in the upper right of your screen instead. It's very small and efficient so it won't kill your phone battery every time you sync. It's the only iTunes sync app that lets you to choose the storage location. Synchronize via WiFi or USB. WiFi is the easiest to use and plenty fast unless you're syncing a huge collection. |
[2013-01-20] A Google User: Superb I wasn't very hopeful when I downloaded this app--I figured it would be fine but that there would be all sorts of limits on what was actually possible. Imagine my surprise! This app really delivers, and even converts those iTunes m4a songs to mp3s actually playable on my Android. Will wonders never cease? ! |
[2013-01-18] A Google User: Best sync software Just works |
[2013-01-15] A Google User: Who needs iPhone? Love love this app! |
[2013-01-13] A Google User: Great app Does what I needed....thanks!! |
[2013-01-13] A Google User: Herat tool It takes too much time to sync playlists but sync count |
[2013-01-13] A Google User: Used to be reliable **UPDATE: THE SYNC IS NOW WORKING BUT UNNERVING THAT IT WOULDN'T WORK WHEN I WAS ALWAYS FOLLOWING THE SAME PROCEDURES. INCREASED RATING TO 4 BUT THE PROBLEM I HAD WILL NOT EARN IT A FULL 5 STARS.** I purchased this over a year ago and it worked 100%. After not using for a while and since been updated, I can't sync using a wire (wi-fi isn't too great) even after restarting the phone and pc, and reinstalling the free server. It won't recognise my pcs IP address despite checking my firewall settings (norton 360 gold edition) I suppose the recent itunes update hasn't helped but I shouldn't expect that. Please fix this problem, I used to like this app. Samsung Galaxy S (GT-I9000), iTunes 11.0.1.12, Windows 7 (Home Premium 64bit) |
[2013-01-13] A Google User: Brilliant App! This app is brilliant and works flawlessly, removing old files and replacing them with new ones whenever I'm in the house connected to wifi. The only thing I would suggest would be for the developer to work on the UI. The last few updates have been an improvement, but if the developer made it possible to swipe between the various pages and stuck to the Android Holo theme, I think this could genuinely be one of the markets best apps. 5 stars once that is updated. Keep up the good work! |
[2013-01-13] A Google User: Perfect! My biggest fear from switching from an iPhone was that I wouldn't have my music the way I did. Using this with Google Play Music is exactly like an iPod! |
[2013-01-07] A Google User: Galaxy note 2 It works great only problem I have duplicates. Can you guys fix that? |
[2013-01-06] A Google User: License check failed! Already purchased but after device was reset to factory settings, I encounter the error when syncing "License check failed! Authentication not allowed." Tried Test connection and it is working but still can't sync at all! Totally not worth the $$ spent! |
[2013-01-05] A Google User: Isyncr is better and cheaper This does what it says, but the interface is not intuitive and it doesn't do everything I want. |
[2013-01-04] A Google User: Doesn't work (Galaxy S3) It would transfer songs at about one song per five minutes. It randomly deletes songs, and when it does work, theyre out of order from itunes. Waste of money. Wish I could take it back. |
[2013-01-04] A Google User: Doesn't always work When this app works, its great. But it only works every other update it seems like. The support forums aren't very helpful. The app would work perfectly then after the update it stops working. |
[2013-01-02] A Google User: Worked straight out of the tin but be careful Nice that one playlist it found is Library which is all tunes and started sync'ing straight away Knocked off one star as did not see existing music library in SDCardMusic as it creates its own sub folder so had to abort the sync and delete all existing files and then had to power off/on the phone for the phone's music music app to reset and find the new location I am using Sony Zperia Neo on Android 2.3.3 (where I am stuck unless I root) and iTunes 11 on Win 7 64 bit |
[2012-12-27] A Google User: Just Works Flawless, syncs playlists wirelessly as advertised |
[2012-12-26] A Google User: Eaxelrod Didn't work at all.not sure what all the nonsense was about name of computer? It never asked that question. Went into an automated sequence and then said Install failed.Useless app for me |
[2012-12-26] A Google User: Good app A+ |
[2012-12-23] A Google User: Wonderful I am able to easily sync my iTunes play lists to my Galaxy S3. It also worked well with my older phone. Great app. |
[2012-12-22] A Google User: Perfect app Love this app. If ur seeing duplicates go into settings> apps> all> media storage> clear data> then restart ur phone! |
[2012-12-22] A Google User: Great app Works as it should, syncs my playlists perfectly. |
[2012-12-21] A Google User: nice :) very easy to use. clean ui. totally worth the money! |
[2012-12-21] A Google User: Works perfectly I have a Galaxy S3 running 4.1.1 and this application works perfectly and does exactly what's suppose to! |
[2012-12-18] A Google User: Very unweildy app Accidently downloaded music to internal memory instead of SD card. App provides no way to delete the music or move it to the SD card. Even after downloading a file manager and unistalling the app I was still not able to delete the files on the SD card. Ended up having to format the SD card. Also requires software installed on the iTunes host. Bit let down and a waste of money. Double Twist is a much more elegant solution. |
[2012-12-17] A Google User: Works great, but... Works as advertised, however, one bug i found is that it will duplicate playlists that have apostrophes in them. Not sure if this depends on the media player you are using. I am just using stock player that came with my droid2. Maybe if the app had its own media player it would fix this problem? |
[2012-12-15] A Google User: Only sync first time Does nit work as mentioned . |
[2012-12-15] A Google User: Used to work Hanging at 'getting files' section of sync. HTC One X +, newest MacBook 11", fully up to date software, phone bootloader unlocked. |
[2012-12-14] A Google User: Works This tool does do what it says. My music and play lists were copied to my phone. Unfortunately after the sync the songs kept coming up as duplicates in the default music app. I have since used isyncr which synced perfectly |
[2012-12-06] A Google User: Current version not working 2 different phones HT Incredible and Droid X. New version 2.24 does not work on either. |
[2012-12-04] A Google User: Perfect. After trying double twist, salling, easy sync and manual syncing, FINALLY a product that works perfectly. THANKS TUNESYNC! |
[2012-12-02] A Google User: Fastest/Easiest way to grab your music to go!! Works flawlessly on CM10, nuff said. ;-) |
[2012-11-24] A Google User: Very good Tunesync works great. However what are the possibilities of getting wired sync on jellybean? Syncing takes forever over wifi! Android File Transfer is just a faster and free option of getting tunes from Mac to Galaxy Note 2. |
[2012-11-23] A Google User: Does the job It simply does the job, I am using it to sync my playlists from itunes on mac to my phone and it works fine over wireless |
[2012-11-15] A Google User: Finally! A sync app that does what it should! I tried every other app out there to try to sync my iTunes with my Android. None of them would successfully connect and stay connected. The ones that stayed connected could not find my iTunes library because it was in a non-standard location. Although it is a little pricey as apps go, TuneSync connects every time and syncs perfectly every time. It does exactly what the dev's claim it should. I guess that is why the extra $$'s. I would have given 5 stars but it needs a few tweaks... -Should give the user the option of using album artwork embedded in mp3 rather than from iTunes -Needs a built-in fully functional player so we can get rid of all the other player apps. -Needs to do a better job of clean-up when moving files to SD card |
[2012-11-11] A Google User: Request Generally great. More synch timing options please. |
[2012-11-11] A Google User: Best way to transfer music from itunes (on mac) to sgs3 |
[2012-11-09] A Google User: Sync your iTunes music! Works nice with playlists as well... |
[2012-11-08] A Google User: The best Does exactly what you want! But seriously that new homescreen is lame. This app is better than that! #thirdworkdproblems |
[2012-11-07] A Google User: :) Working perfectly. (HTC One X) |
[2012-11-07] A Google User: Impressive App syncs music and playlists like a charm, but the new homescreen looks like it was cooked up in Photoshop on a late night... |
[2012-11-06] A Google User: Great! Very responsive dev. Thanks for the interval updates! |
[2012-11-06] A Google User: Excellent app A bit pricey but does what it says. What's up with the new home screen? Rest of the app is so elegant but new home screen is just plain ugly |
[2012-11-05] A Google User: Pretty Good Works flawlessly. Much better than it used to be. Probably most of the 1 star reviews are from when it was in beta. |
[2012-11-04] A Google User: Works perfectly! I've had this for awhile and was frustrated because I couldnt get it to synch ... I finally sat down and really tried to figure it out. After spending awhile familiarizing myself with it, I reliazed I didn't have the name of my computer entered correctly. Duh! Fixed it and it synched immediately. Works like a charm now and updates anytime I add new music. Love, love, love it! |
[2012-10-29] A Google User: Stopped working After the last update the transfer hangs at creating play list. Tried formatting my sd card & starting from scratch, but it didn't work. :-( |
[2012-10-24] A Google User: Good, but not working properly. edited review, original is below: This app is still awesome but the playlists listed in TuneSync don't change when I add or delete one in iTunes. :/ so I cannot even add any music to my phone. I've tried reinstalling iTunes, TuneSync, and the server. I have no clue what could be going wrong. ------OLD REVIEW---- Wow! This app is awesome. Used the free version for a day and had to buy it. Best app for syncing your iTunes library to your device. Doesn't make you download a separate media player on your PC, just a simple server that doesn't use much processing power at all. BRILLIANT! |
[2012-10-22] A Google User: Really good app Moved from my iPhone to my new s3 and love it, and this made it super easy to bring my music over. |
[2012-10-14] A Google User: Great app Awesome app no complaints does exactly what it says. . |
[2012-10-13] A Google User: Samsung galaxy s3 A brilliant app got all my iTunes songs. :0) |
[2012-10-13] A Google User: Works Great! I'm a iPhone/Mac guy use to the "Easy" button. I was dreading getting all my music over to my new Galaxy IIIs. This app is about as easy as it gets. I continue to use iTunes on my Mac and my Apple accounts, playlists etc like I always do and it syncs perfectly. Artwork, playlist etc all as you would hope for. Very nice that I don't really have to change much in the way I do things. I haven't tried to get it to do anything "special" just get my iTunes music on my Android, it does that well. |
