Updated app sucks!! Why doesn't this app archive shows anymore? I listen to Stephanie Miller show. Now I have to listen to the a show episode same day otherwise it refreshes to the newest episode.

Always drops shows Have yet to hear a full episode of anything - it always drops shows and randomly restarts another. NPR should sever its contract - this app makes them look bad. Why is audio streaming so difficult???

Confusing mess First time using this app. Picked a show that I know about, and went to a blank screen. Blank screens aplenty! Only way to get to what was now playing was via notification, and then I couldn't work out how to actually add the podcast or search. There's a confusing X button in the corner, takes me to a blank screen. Have no idea what these screenshots are showing cause that's not what I saw!

Not music, a podcast I can't tell you how many times I've been asked "what are ya listening to?" But instead of naming a song I usually name a podcast. I've never had any problems with the app and it's pretty simple to set up your favorites so No Complaints.

Please fix search! This is a great app, and I really appreciate the new UI, however, the search function in this app is incredibly inadequate! I NEVER find what I am looking for, even though the particular podcast is available on Stitcher. This makes the app all but unusable for me :(

More is not better I was a big user of this program- Not so much now- Too much to do to get to the same place with a few new helpful features but at the cost of other very useful ones. Gone are the Now Playing button and the Quit button. Both I used all the time. What used to take three touches now takes five and two scrolls. Also, while driving and using my voice navigation software the notifications will stop Stitcher. This is not good while driving. Please make it a more user configurable interface, so I can at least have it open to the folder I use 99 percent of the time for crying out loud.

Widget gone! Always loved the app... but a newer, smoother interface is not consolation for losing my widget. Yes, there's built-in functionality for lockscreen control in JB 4.2, but that requires extra step for Widget Locker users or when not locked. I see you're planning on bringing back the widget in the next update, but you should've built it in to begin with. Never substitute style for convenience. You get your 5th star back in exchange for my widget. Thank you in advance :)

Worse update so far This app is wrecked. How do you take away the option to pick up where you last left off!?! yes, the app does look amazing, there were some improvements but not being able to pick up where on episode left off? Add to that the crashing and you have a perfect storm. I have never been compelled to even write a review of an app before now. Such a shame because stitcher has always been my absolute favorite and most used app up until now. Uninstalling.

Buggy *Volume control does not work. I have to go into YouTube and change the volume and then back to this app. *will auto launch when it connects to my car bluetooth but then when I exit the car it will not stop running. I can't get it out of the notification bar unless I reboot.

Amended review -Never works longer than 10 minutes at a time. Well, this app still works like crap with my phone and I even beta tested it and sent them my problems. Too bad, I guess I will have to look elsewhere. I've contacted stitcher about the long list of issues I have with this app. After receiving an invite to share concerns about the Android version I figured I would give them another chance. Well, they sent me an invite to complete a survey a month ago and haven't asked for any input since then. I will be looking elsewhere for a podcast player.

Can't add feeds myself I'm looking for a Google Listen replacement. One of the podcasts I follow recommended Stitcher, but Stitcher only works with podcasts that have added themselves to Stitcher. Stitcher only works with three of the podcasts I follow, so it is useless to me. If it allowed me to add feeds myself it would be a much better app.

Awesome app This is one awesome app. Theres alotta different podcasts to choose from. These podcasts have expanded my knowledge and made me aware of the world around me. One question i have is why this app needs access to my bluetooth setting? What does streaming audio have to do with what devices are paired to mine via bluetooth?

3.0 ruined this apps functionality I loved this app for entertaining me during my commute. I would pick a show to listen to and let it download on my home's wifi and then set out. I could go down into the subway and listen all the way to work. Now it seems impossible to get a whole episode to download. Also when I come out of the subway and my cell connection is re-established (sometimes while underground still) the show cuts out and it doesn't save the spot it stopped. Please fix the app or revert to the last version! P.S. What happened to the quit button, now the only way to shut down is to kill it in the task manager.

Keeps freezing the phone after the new update. It used to work fine on Galaxy S3 and now with the new update, the phone freezes on other apps saying " Sticher App quit unexpectedly " or some thing in that nature. But when you check if the Sticher was open in the background, NOPE, you don't see it. So when there was no Sticher in the background ( After successfully closed), and when I'm using other apps, they don't respond to my gestures and gives me the above warning. Deleted it. Will give 4 stars once fixed. I still like this app.

Inconsistent Performance Update* Still wonky. Skips. Unpredictable. Very driver unfriendly menus. Uninstalling. // Great idea/concept. But the execution is weak. Can't depend on it to load, and feeds will skip. And growing tired of the 'resuming episode' announcement...Truly wish they would stabilize the foundation, rather than spend resources adding features.

New update is crap...still The first day I updated, it kept interrupting my podcasts to tell me what Stitcher is, to preview shows and to extol the virtues of creating a Favorites station - which I already have and which I had accessed to listen to my favorite podcasts that were being so rudely interrupted! Now I cannot figure out how to turn the app off if I have not listened to the end of my Favorites list. The previous versions were huge battery hogs and you needed to actually turn the app off in order to stop the battery usage

Aggravating!!!!! Ok Since the update this does not work Any more. It stops for no reason and then you have to restart the app. It has already forgotten Your place. The app was working fine before but since The update it doesn't work. The menu is nice to look at but who's going to look at it if the app doesn't work any longer. My view of the latest version Don't like. Way too many keystrokes to play a favorite and how do you quit the app? Has always left too many processes running after you quit and now I can't even find out how to quit the app. The back button won't shut it down. Looks good, but has issues The new look and feel of the app is great. I like being able to jump both forward and back 30 seconds while listening to podcasts. One massive issue though... YOU CAN'T EXIT THE APP!! While in the stitcher app itself there is no option to exit. Considering this a fairly standard feature via the contextual menu of any app it's a pretty glaring oversight. Further to this, after listening to something if you simply back out of the app then in your notification bar shows the app and a handy X to exit. Except it often does nothing and the notification of the running app keeps coming back. Get the app to exit cleanly and you've got yourself a 5 star app.

They've swapped function for aesthetics... boo. Stitcher used to have some quirks, but overall, it worked fine and was one of my favorite apps. With the new update, several of my podcasts never load and, so far, I haven't had an episode properly resume. Now, if I want to go back to an unfinished episode, I have to manually try to find where I left off (the progress bar shows the former time, but it becomes completely separate from the actual progress of the audio, rendering it useless).____ It looks much better now, but I'd quickly trade it for a *working* ugly version. I'd give it a 5 if if it worked even as well as it used to.

Used to be the best. I really like the design of the new version but it doesn't work for me. It randomly jumps from one podcast to the next and forgets the position in the previous one. It also crashes when SMS comes in and a notification is played. Had to uninstall after more than 3,000 hours of listening. A large step back for this otherwise great app.

Like the new design, but... I really liked this app before the latest upgrade, but I felt it could use some improvements. Now I really like the look, but I'm having lots of functionality issues. Most notable is that the resume function doesn't work. It acts like it's going to resume where you left off, and the timeline shows where you left off, but it starts over at the beginning. And because the timeline stays where you left off, you can't slide to the right spot even if you happen to know exactly where you were. Very frustrating.

Crashes and notification display I recently reset my Verizon Galaxy S3 and the application crashed this morning. First app to ever crash after reset. Then during the day other apps started crashing, like Netflix and the Touchwiz launcher. I removed the application and everything seems normal now. Also when I ran the app the notification display for it was very unstable. I would hit the X and nothing would happen or I would exit from within the app and the notification display would just stay in the notification bar. Please fix
