Regrets... I can't believe i spent money on this piece of crap. I used to be a devout sound hound user. I would swear by it then last night it wouldn't identify a popular song and then i downloaded shazam, identified it and then went back to sound hound to try again and still couldn't find it!! I can't believe i used to make fun of my friends and coworkers for being bandwagon shazam users but now i know why. Goodbye soundhound i hate you and i want my money back!!

Very Disappointed Very disappointed. After updates this app no longer recognizes music with "blazing fast" speed, it now only seems to recognize 10% of the music I tag, sbut the free Google music app recognizes ALL of the music I tag. What happened - and this is the PAID version of Sound Hound...

Loading Using the shortcut widget on my home screen since when I hear a song I quickly want to ID it however the app is extremely slow to load and I've missed songs. Please fix so it launches when I tap it.

What happened to the quality? I first downloaded the free version as soon as I bought my mobile. Since it was so accurate in its searches, i decided to help the developers and bought the paid app. But, from a while now, I have to say that I am strongly dissatisfied with the app. None of my searches are to be found, even with the most known and popular tracks. It usually finds them wrong or it just doesn't do anything. Really upseting and has been for a very long time.

Never Works This thing is worthless. I bought it 3 years ago, and it has never once correctly identified a tune. Tunes like William Tell Overture, Entrance of The Gladiators, songs by Couch Flambeau, The Beat Farmers, Clark Plays Guitar, or David T. Chastain. Just examples, and I'm playing recorded performances.

Use "Classic" mode.. If you don't care for the new interface when you open the app, just go into settings and select "Classic" mode. Then it's back to good old SoundHound.

Very good at what it does. Never had any issues, aside from sometimes mis-identifying some VERY obscure tracks. One of the interesting things this app does, and one I'd not seen before, is identify songs playing on the phone itself (instead of songs just playing externally). Good for karaoke if it finds the lyrics.

Some assembly required but still a great app Great app. Some sings from Foreign artist are not recognized correctly and I have issues with Punk bands. Otherwise an excellent app

Good app but after update detection is worse and slow. Originally I got this app instead of Shazam because it had less permissions required. The app worked well and was quick. Recently after the update where they added a bunch of features (bloat) the app takes a lot longer to start. Sometimes it can take 10 seconds on my Droid 4 and I've missed songs because of that. Also, I'm not sure if they changed the algorithm, but after the update it has been mis-identifying songs sometimes.

If you listen to EDM, Electro, House, Dub, etc - this app is useless. Don't waste your money. This app is designed well, and I haven't ever run into any crashes/FC's/etc. But for me that's about where the pro's end. If you're trying to find anything that's EDM, Electro, House, Club/Dance, Dubstep or similarly related - this app is useless. And I'm not talking about new or obscure remixes either - this app can't even recognize non-remixed original versions of well known EDM tracks that receive national radio airplay. It's not bad with other genres, but for my own tastes, it sucks.
