RecForge is a high quality sound recorder.

It allows to Record, Edit and Share sounds, voices, notes, musics or any other audio.

<b>Warning :</b>
- The Lite version has all the features of the pro version, but ogg and mp3 recording are paused every 3 minutes (no limit for wav), just press the pause button to continue. Try it before buying the pro version.

Zte I would give it 5 stars. Its an awesome app. The bonus is being able to listen as it is recording. And the recording feature is great. You can hear a pin drop, literally. Though, it crashs a lot. And hard to keep saved data when it does.

10/10 I tried a few apps for recording. This one fits my top priorities. A) its quick. B) its PCM C) you can even save files on the demo. One minor point is that is doesn't default to CD standard 44.1 PCM (its half that), but a vast majority of android phones cannot handle this. But beware. USB audio is here. This means its now possible to use your favourite mic and pre with your android. The next face will be for the app that can deliver the goods. Will Recforge be in the running? I hope so...

Massive TMP files Droid Razr Maxx - Used it once, and later found that it nearly maxed internal storage with 1,600 TMP files. Uninstalled promptly. Please fix.

Excellent on nexus 4 The app works well. The default setup could be changed so you can record loud rehearsals. Turn off auto gain, record a full .wav set to 48khz, stereo mono and decrease gain by 1db. I get good rehearsal recording of a big band in a two car garage. .mp3 conversion works great. Share works great. A clearer ui down the road would be nice. Hey dev, ever consider making a 4 track add on?

Dev admits to fatal flaw ..... Recordings made with this app sound like recordings of The Chipmunks, they are sped up so fast. I wrote dev.and he blandly replied that "this is a well known issue" and he supplied me a quote from the FAQ. I tried the possible fixes thast were offered in that FAQ citing but niether worked. This is the first recording app I've tried that has this issue and so I have to ask, WHAT GOOD IS IT?? Seriously, if your app is all about making recordings then FIX IT. The dev. could show a little more concern with his replies instead of coming across like he coiuldn't care less. Just glad i didn't waste $ on a purchase. UNINSTALLED (Samsung Galaxy Reverb running 4.0.4)

Cannot record over a beat played in phone!! I used this software to record a verse over a beat playing in my phone. Now either the music player stops on pressing the record button or the recording stop two seconds in, EVERY SINGLE TIME! This was a 5 star for me, now its pretty much useless. Please fix this and I will give it 5 again.

Great though ugly I love this app. I record improvisations all the time and the quality is great. The update where they changed the theme and icons ruined it a bit. Sure the old theme was cartooney but it was clear and with good contrast. You can change back to the old icon set and theme but what you can't change is the app icon in the notification bar. On a white froyo background it is close to invisible. Lame.

In 2 words.... .. THE BEST! The speed control is useful, though ideally it would have an option to keep the pitch the same whilst the speed was changed, so that speech still sounds "normal". Please use the English not U.S. flag to represent English -it's OUR language! ;) The controls could use overhaul -the tabs at top/bottom & their on/off are too confusing. To Tim (7th Oct 2012): The email address IS provided - look at bottom of the app download page. To others, a TIP : Long-press filenames to access more options.

Great Recorder I use the lite version to record lectures in .wav format and it works very well for me. I have noticed one little hitch: The R side is alway lower than L side. It's no big deal to me because I fix that using audacity audio editor.

Amateurish. Uninstalled Wont be paying a penny for this one. Poor interface, limited editing, can't even open .3ga files so already half useless for phone audio editing. All I wanted to do was a quick and dirty normalising of a 3ga file. Just use your computer with real software for conversion and editing and forget this amateurish attempt. Uninstalled.

No Go on Motorola RAZR Maxx Tried to e-mail developer however e-mail link did not provide a address. The link to developers website is just a link to Facebook, and since I don't have a Facebook account, I could not contact the developer there. So here I am in the review section. Perhaps you may want to add a Google+ link. My first test was a voice memo and it worked fine. Next I tried to record a 9 minute phone call. After I ended the call, RecForg finalized the file for over 4 hours. I hope this info helps you in development of the app.
