Use your Android phone or tablet as a musical instrument and make your own electronic music tracks!
Recreate the sound of early electronic dance music with the RD3 – Groovebox that recalls two 303-style analog synthesizers, a drum machine plus reverb, distortion, phaser, filter and delay audio effects!
Developed in Berlin, RD3 - Groovebox is a pioneering audio app that lets you program your own grooves. This multi-touch enabled app makes it simple to invent unique loops and manipulate them with resonant filters and effects on the go.
Appropriate both for experienced musicians and novices.
RD3 is optimized for Android phones and tablets. Use it for live performances in landscape mode on phones and 7-inch tablets or use the additional special rack view on 10-inch tablets in portrait mode.
Loops you've created and exported with the Groovebox can also be automatically integrated into mikrosonic's audio mixer app SPC - Music Sketchpad.

[2013-08-04] A Google User: nice update , but nice updates but an offer to RD4 to existing RD3 users at a cheaper rate would be encouraging also to those of us who felt left out when RD4 was released. |

[2013-06-28] A Google User: Big update Before the Jun 26 update it was just kind of aright. A solid drum machine+303 app but really didn't bring anything to the table and could be criticized for being overly basic. But this update really made it worthwhile. Individual effects routing and 2 basslines at the same time. Really if you want a solid 303 and drum machine combo this is the cleanest solution to that. |

[2013-06-01] A Google User: Always crashing Gets stuck almost immediately after opening. Im on nexus 4. What's the deal with the hd? Is that supposed to work on my phone? Well, developers seemed to totally abandoned this version. Nothing new since I first bought it. So basically a 2 year + old app with no updates. Awful |

[2012-11-09] A Google User: Device Not Supported Unfortunately I have to agree with others. I can not even install this purchased app on my new device. I know that technically the new version is separate from the old and restrictions offered through Google Play probably means any upgrade/crossgrade options at a discounted rate for existing customers is difficult or impossible. I hope something can be offered though. I enjoyed using this app. |

[2012-08-16] A Google User: Lousy support I can only say what multiple folks said before me, the software's so sourly needed update is now separately sold as the 'HD' version. I am in with RD3 since the beginning, and this is just shameless. Back to one star, and the advise not to support this dev. Anymore |
