Want to play only the sound of a video and turn off screen keeping it playing in the background, saving battery? Use this "video" player to play only sound:
- Remembers last played position.
- It's also possible to see video, if you wish ;-)
Future releases:
- In "video mode", position bar will update
Tested on Nexus One.

[2012-09-03] lee: great does a great job and is easy on battery life. perfect for listening to video with no video playback. can also turn the screen off in playback. This app scored the best in permission friendly. Needs no permissions. Simple smart app |

[2012-08-30] the 9/2/2012   add a "play all" feature... ... and you're onto a winner. it's awesome being able to listen to video and then come back to it occasionally, but being forced to manually select things one at a time is kind of annoying. still ok, though. |

[2012-04-15] ExpHP: Needs association with video files A lot of people are complaining about the lack of file names, and yeah, I know there's not much you can do about that since you're using the default Gallery (which was apparently designed by a bunch of preschoolers). But if you're not up to writing your own file selection UI, could you please at least make NVP register itself as a video player so that it can be chosen from other explorers? |

[2012-03-27] Handi: Exactly What I Want. Feature is unique !! This app is not for music or album like what poweramp do but for recorded show: e.g. mp4 download from youtube, school lecture, video memo etc. The features like remember and play from last position, switching video when I want are so unique and just fit what I want. It will be better if mp3 also support and showing icon in the notification area. |
