Technically a step sequencers, MusicGrid was inspired by the funky Tenori-on and the great online ToneMatrix.

More features are coming soon! Best played on phone with a large screen.

Super Is a little glitchy on certain waveforms but interesting. I would like to see some kind of small synth engine to modify the sounds themselves. Otherwise very fun.

Like the REASON Matrix unit Fairly limited. On a tablet we have a 16x10 grid. Unlike the Matrix unit in REASON you can select more than one note. It doesn't appear to have black notes so not risk of discord. The program can initially have some timing errors on starting but hitting Pause and then Play on the menu fixes that. By selecting three vertical circles you can get a chord, to do that on REASON would require three Matrix units and three sound sources. The sounds are limited and only a couple are okay to listen to (but that's enough). The notes are the top are high and at the bottom are low, while time runs horizontally. The sequence doesn't last long enough for a tune so needs to be constantly changed and played. There is currently no option to record the result internally. It's best to think of this as a groove composer to compose rhythms and variations of rhythms. Those needs some mechanism for saving them, perhaps a screen shot facility. An interesting and pleasant sounding instrument of limited capability. You would have difficulty getting the same results from a Guitar. Could be improved as the author suggests.
