[2012-09-09] Tim: Good, but not quite there. Setlist mode is invaluable. However, there are a couple of features that need adding/fixing to make this work properly. 1. Having the subdivision sound the same as the unaccented note sound is at best, irritating. At worst it is distracting. Add a third sound field to change the sound of the subdivisions. 2. There needs to be more time signature options than just "/4". What if I want something like 13/16, 7/8, or something as simple as 6/8? In it's current form, this app cannot do this. It's hard to see how an app that was made "by musicians, for musicians" could be missing these essential features. |
[2012-08-19] rkeeling75: Good on the Droid; not so great on the Nexus The good: the best metronome app I have used as far as timing goes. And the interface is very nice. The problems: While it works well on my Droid RAZR Maxx but has issues on the Nexus 7. The accent beats don't work nor the light flash. Missing features: 6/8 time? The ability to assign accent beats to the light flashing option (via color). The ability to define sounds to the sub quarter note patterns (i. e. 1 & 2 & 3 & ... the beats would have one sound and the 'ands' another) Great, but with issues |
[2012-06-06] kjc: Thanks Thank you for doing the right thing and keeping this as one app. |
[2012-06-05] Lance: Thank you! This was a wise (and appreciated!) decision to pass on the full featured app to us former purchasers! |
[2012-03-18] Christopher: Dev is poor No support and forcing paying customers to pay again for another metronome to continue receiving support. Do not buy!!!! |
[2012-01-22] Sam: Dev is shady, this app is no longer supported I put up with the developer when they added an internet requirement for this *paid* app (presumably for ads). Now this app is no longer actively maintained because the dev wants people to buy Metronome 2. That's poor form in my book. |
[2012-01-21] subexpression: Making me pay again to upgrade to version 2??? Why isn't it free since i purchased version 1? |
[2012-01-15] QWERTY: Bluetooth issues I start app FIRST then bluetooth app works, but start bluetooth first? App crashes. FIXED IN VERSION 2.... |

[2011-08-11] Jeffrey: Seems fine, I wouldn't expect perfect time while syncing, LOL. I put phone in airport mode during use. |
[2011-03-12] Cristian: On HTC Desire HD the app will not occupy the full space of the screen. |
[2011-01-05] Tom: Works with screen blanked, tap tempo, time signature options, seems steady on N1. A keeper. |
[2010-11-23] Sean: updates are awesome! |
[2010-11-15] glasgowd: Works great on Hero. No visual feedback, though. |
[2010-11-15] Kyle: Click now starts at the top of the measure, so five stars. The only thing that would make it better is a tap tempo. |
[2010-11-14] Stephen: Excellent metronome. Thanks for the permissions changes! |
[2010-11-14] CLCDAN: Me having bad week (& proving it), but dev researched suggestions & was able 2 implement. Net com needed once, sonic hiway? Can has notification bar? |

[2010-10-23] john: An excellent metronome for $1.50ish? You would be paying a lot more for one this good at a shop. Still, there are areas of improvement. |

[2010-07-29] thomas: By musicians who don't know what down beats and upbeats are. Not professional quality. |
[2010-07-27] Chris: Great, keeps stable time and defines the beginning of each bar (with a higher pitch, unlike some available). Great work! |
[2010-07-25] James: Worth every penny. Beautiful interface. Keeps great time too! |
[2010-07-21] Matt: No 12/8 or 9/8 |

[2010-07-16] Brenton: Be better if you could choose time signatures in 8th notes. Like 6/8, 12/8, etc. |
[2010-07-06] Karl: Attractive, intuitive UI. Volume control from within app would be nice. (HTC Droid Incredible) |

[2010-05-05] Zdrok: Looks nice but wrong dimensions on droid, also tested it against a real metronome and it is not solid... |
[2010-04-27] Tim: I had this thing play along with pro tools at my studio and it stayed right in time. On MOTO Droid |
[2010-04-20] carcass: Slick UI and user friendly, but it doesn't keep time.. even receiving an sms causes a significant delay. As a drummer I need it to be solid.:/ |
[2010-04-20] Rossen: Slick UI and user friendly, but it doesn't keep time.. even receiving an sms causes a significant delay. As a drummer I need it to be solid.:/ |

[2010-04-16] CleverCoder: It has some issues with missing beats. Also feels like it drifts. G1. Make it better. |
[2010-04-10] Peter or Pete: Works great and sounds great. Precise beat. I wish it would jump by traditional mm. numbers (76, 84, 92) rather than by tens. Thanks for a great app! |

[2010-04-06] James: Not confident the time is solid |
[2010-04-05] yj: Best in market |
[2010-04-03] CLCDAN: Seriously still the best metronome app, just that the screen blanker never worked, and still doesn't. Can adds landscape mode? |
[2010-04-03] DAN: Seriously still the best metronome app, just that the screen blanker never worked, and still doesn't. Can adds landscape mode? |
[2010-04-01] Ross: Well done! Works great on Nexus, very handy! Nice look / UI too. Five stars when it can do odd time signatures... 7/8, 11/8, etc. :) |
[2010-03-21] Scott: Does not keep good time, even with other apps closed, htc hero |
[2010-03-05] Troy: Seems to keep time very well on my Droid. Best metronome app I've seen. |
[2010-03-04] Gary: Works extremely well but drains my battery even if force closed |
[2010-03-03] Alex: finally! a metro that keeps time! I just uninstalled the other 5 that I had. Worth every penny! (er.., euro) |
[2010-02-27] Derek: Best $1.35 ever spent on an app!! Keeps perfect time, no stutters on Droid!! Thank you! Great for practicing excerpts!! |
[2010-02-17] ksmally: The only metronome app I've found that keeps steady time. Definitely worth the money. |
[2010-02-07] deftdrummer: Great UI but needs tweaks. Please add other click options, current is shrill and distracting. Also option for auto shutoff of alarms, ringtones! |
[2010-02-04] Mikeye1976: Very stable and clean! Thanks |
[2010-02-04] Michael: Very stable and clean! Thanks |
[2010-02-02] Will: Does everything it says just fine. Good interface, good sounds, good time. |
[2010-01-31] Jared: Overall its a decent metronome. It's does skip a beat anytime the phone is doing anything like turning off or getting a message. On a hero. |
[2010-01-20] AVDomotics: Does the trick. Would be nice if it had some preset tempos as well as a visual que option, like a flashing light so you could turn off the click. |
[2010-01-20] Charlie: Does the trick. Would be nice if it had some preset tempos as well as a visual que option, like a flashing light so you could turn off the click. |
[2010-01-19] Kit: Good time keeper on nexus...wish there was a way to save some preset tempos. |
[2010-01-18] James: This app keeps time very well, just read the reviews for the demo. I have not experienced any problems with it. |
[2010-01-08] Erik: Why is it impossible for someone to make a metronome that is accurate? |
