[2012-11-10] Danielo: Bug Keep me asking to add manually host... |
[2012-11-09] Amoeba: iSyncr for Mac Well, I must rewrite my review due to my MTP write issue was a hardware issue. It appears that phones require quick random rewriting (or some such and such, it's really just hardware nerd babble to me). I originally had a class4 microsd card installed which worked with iSyncr. I installed a class10 microsd card and could no longer write. In fact, I had all kinds of write issues with Android FT too. Anyways, long story short, make sure you know what your microSD card is. It's suggested a class 4. You can do a "32GB microsd cards" search at xda-developers forum. Google that if you don't know what that is. It's the first hit. Anyways, it works. It just does. However, the company falls short with replies to email. For that, i rate one less star. |

[2012-11-08] Harvey: Easier to use then iTunes! Great, great, great app! Works a wonder with galaxy note 2 Simple, easy and fast :) |
[2012-11-05] Mustafa: Never finishes sync Sync stops after copying only a few songs everytime. |
[2012-11-03] Anthony: Won't work Did work till I updated my galaxy nexus to jellybean now it wok load my phone in the app on computer please fix fast |
[2012-11-03] tone: Very easy to use and very happy buyer here Synced my Galaxy S3 with 28GB of itunes library (music and video) wirelessly but more importantly painlessly :) Im not techie but it was a doddle and well worth £2.49! Only minor issue is that I didnt initially specify that I wanted it to dump everything in my SD card leading to a bit of duplication but as soon as I hit this check box all was immediately well with nothing stored on the phone itself Highly recommended |
[2012-11-03] Ram: Wifi Sync is fantastic! Overall smooth, great! It'd be great if you guys could push the boundaries in figuring out a way to sync pics via itunes as well! |
[2012-11-02] Mikhail: Works very well on Galaxy Note 2!!!! I'v tried doubletwist its ok but no comparison to Isyncr so far so good!!!! |
[2012-11-02] The Great One: Nice! The app does exactly what it's meant to: sync your music over WiFi to your iTunes. The interface is simple, clean and very easy to use. It had no problems detecting or connecting to my iMac, and synced my chosen playlist (about 6.5 GB) without any problems in a pretty reasonable time. Definitely recommended. |
[2012-11-01] Thomas: Good riddance double twist Able to sync iTunes to GS3 and listen to music via stock and use its eq. Great app. |
[2012-10-30] Erik: Absolutely awesome This app made it so easy for a newbie Android user i just filed my ishuffle under "don't need anymore". Thanks! Worth the cost of a latte any day! |
[2012-10-29] Francis: Very good app... totally worth the price Works like a charm |
[2012-10-28] Latrice: Sucks |
[2012-10-26] Brian: Does not work Will not sync playlists on the new Asus infinity. I hope this gets a fix! |
[2012-10-26] Gregory: Works sort of... It works with my droid razr, by wifi or usb, but if you remove the SD card or power cycle the phone, the SD card will come back as corrupted and will need to be reformatted. I am still trying to figure out what's going on.... |
[2012-10-24] Danilo: excelent synced my ratings and play counts seamlessly |
[2012-10-22] Eric: Just when I was going to give up I found this app, which did something others may find stupid, but which I find absolutely essential: Syncing play counts "back" to itunes. I love it! |
[2012-10-19] Jase: pffft Well after spending 3.99 opens up and says its not licensed pffft what a waste of money.... |
[2012-10-19] Dan: Works great Fast and no fuss. Works perfectly over WiFi or USB on my Droid RAZR Max. |
[2012-10-19] brad: Brilliant Easy to use, music on galaxy note from iMac in seconds. |
[2012-10-18] Jennisa: Work with Note 2 using MTP At first I'm encountered problem with MTP because i installed kies on my mac. And i sent enquiry regarding this and the cust service replied my email very fast and told me to uninstall kies properly more than once. After that i restart my mac and everything works properly! Great app and great cust service!! Thanks hope more feature will be added in future. |
[2012-10-18] Ken: Worse... After combining wifi It's a good idea but I keep etting the license check and then asking me to send a link to my desktop computer to download the software, and then it will crash... Update: Doesn't crash anymore, but everytime I load it, it must do a license check and then ask me to download the desktop sync software |
[2012-10-18] Juan: Doesn't Work just downloaded... starts sync, gets to about 30% and force closes... will not get any further |
[2012-10-16] exitcode1: Actually works! "•Actually Works" is apparently a rare feature among iTunes sync apps. I tried them all--this app rocks. Preserves everything, easy, still always improving. |
[2012-10-13] Brian: Can't sync to SD card from Galaxy Tab 7.7 |
[2012-10-11] kathryn: :( Worked really well with my old HTC galaxy, but doesn't work at all with my new HTC desire s. The phone can't seem to find the song files. |
[2012-10-10] Jamie: Doesn't work most of the time. Keeps getting stuck at "Loading Device..." |
[2012-10-10] Nicholas: Works perfectly It's works prefects, can't fault it at all |
[2012-10-10] Olivia: Started well, but now having trouble I changed SD cards and had to reinstall isyncr on my phone, which wasn't a problem. I then couldn't see it on my Mac anymore so I reinstalled it on there too, but the program doesn't open. It's a blue S instead of a green S, which I don't know whether that means that the installation isn't complete or not. Still waiting to hear back from the designers for help. Before this problem though I'd been perfectly happy with isyncr. |
[2012-10-10] roylsharp: Garbage Worked nicely, once. Then it wiped all the music from my phone the next time I tried to sync. Now it will sync 3 or 4 songs, then fail (both USB and WiFi). USB sync gives an I/O error saying my USB port was "corrupted by iTunes", but syncing with EasyPhoneTunes works without a hitch. I want my money back. |
[2012-10-09] John: Great for the last 7 months No issues. I sync about once a week and never had a problem. I sync only playlists. |
[2012-10-09] Jeremy: Works great |
[2012-10-09] Edoardo: Works with Note II, mac+mtp !!!! Works well with my Galaxy Note 2 even able to do usb transfre to the sd card, using mtp in a mac where google android file transfer fails instead. And I keep to use the normal player no need for ugly doubletwist. WELL DONE GUYS |
[2012-10-09] Amelia: Finally I can sync ITunes and Android seamelessly! |
[2012-10-09] Samiea: Works with mac With ease. Tried doubletwist but that was just painful. This couldn't be any easier. |
[2012-10-09] Evan: Perfect solution! I used to use doubletwist to sync my phone and iTunes but it was so slow. I came across this tried it now I can't believe I didn't discover it earlier. Works GREAT! |
[2012-10-08] JamesDownWell: Does what it says on the tin This is the best solution to sync music from a mac to an Android I've used. Very simple and easy to use. One problem is that there is no transcoding so I have been left with hundreds of unplayable songs on my phone. |
[2012-10-07] Jamie: This app does what i need it to Now my mac and my android play nice together! :D Weeeee! |
[2012-10-07] Carol: Great App! I fell in the Doubletwist trap before I discovered iSyncr. Please do yourself a favor and if anyone recommends Doubletwist run screaming from the room. iSyncr is well engineered, fast and does what I want it to. What a relief. |
[2012-10-05] C: Best Music syncing app for iTunes-look no further! Seriously this works phenomenally. I highly recommend this. I have tried several ways to put music on my Samsung Galaxy S3 but this one is the best. Fast and easy. I am glad I bought it when it was only $2.99 but if I hadn't already bought it, I wouldn't hesitate to pay the current $3.99 for this. Worth every penny!!! |
[2012-10-05] Dave: Not bad .... WiFi needs attention though |
[2012-10-02] Tim: Good work Works as advertised, but was a bit disappointed that it only works against iTunes. I'd give this app 3.5 stars if I could, I'd give it 5 if you could tweak your interface and just let me drag and drop files onto my phone. |
[2012-10-01] Brian: 1 Hour Later... I'm finished trying to trouble shoot this nightmare and trying Double Twist instead. Also, the Rocket Player is awful. I can't believe I can't get a refund. |
[2012-09-28] Bob: Works perfectly Galaxy Note 10.1 Fast sync over wifi with my itunes playlists to my external SD card, worked flawlessly in the background without draining the battery. |
[2012-09-27] Miki: Works great. The app does exactly what is supposed. Two small issues that is little on the slow side and that sometimes makes duplicate playlists. |
[2012-09-26] David: Pleasantly Surprised It syncs over MTP (Galaxy Nexus) flawlessly on a Mac even though MTP devices cannot technically be mounted as mass storage devices in Mac OS X. This alone makes the app worthy of a five star rating. |
[2012-09-26] Nile: Works inconsistently I constantly get a sync error issue. I've changed the settings on my phone so the wifi never goes to sleep and the screen to wait 30 mins to go to sleep. After a few mins (and some times that doesn't even cover a single song) I get some error pop up. So I restart both computer & phone, try again but get the same results. All of my software is up to date and I've tried several different wifi sources. |
[2012-09-25] Dominick: Thank you! This app does exactly as advertised! Thank you very much! I actually bought the Mac version when I should have purchased the PC version, but it still works....This is the first time that I've purchased an app and i'm very pleased! |
[2012-09-25] E: New fave I lost my ipod and this is working even better so far than the ipod did! Love it! I'm using it with itunes in mountain lion and rocket player. They sync play counts, live playlists, podcasts, and music. I am a huge new happy fan. |
[2012-09-24] Keith: Great I've been using the app for years at this point and it's just great. They keep adding new features and it just works. If there were a paid upgrade, I'd happily give more, considering how late long I've had it now. |
[2012-09-24] Jordan: Works great Updated version is great |
[2012-09-23] Patrick: Crap Does not work spent 3.99 and does not support Droid bionic junk sucks kick it to the curb |
[2012-09-23] Micah: Probably the greatest thing ever. |
[2012-09-23] Will: Totally worth it. Addresses the biggest problem with Android not being iOS. |
[2012-09-22] Marc: Great App Installed it on my Toshiba Excite tablet and it worked perfectly Good work |
[2012-09-22] Steven: Awesome. Awesome app. Love the new look and having USB and WiFi in the one app was a good idea |
[2012-09-22] Nina: Simple and works. Done. This app does not try to take over as your home computer music player, like double-twist does. It is simple to install and works intuitively, even for the tech-challenged. Just syncs your playlist and Done. Oh, and developer responds to emails within 24 hour. Nice! |
[2012-09-21] Jerry: Disapointing The pro version does not transfer apple losses versions in their original form. Rather, it converts the original files down to 117kbs, defeating the purpose of getting this app with a cleverly worded claim of ulcking the "Apple Lossless" playback functionality. By the time I realized all files were below 120kps, my refund window closed. Very disappointed. |
[2012-09-20] Joe: Almost perfect Installed and got it working without issues on my Galaxy Nexus. Syncs up well (both plugged in and using the WiFi add-on). I didn't sync the whole library, only playlists, and it took all 14 GB except for two songs that were in a different format (I can't complain about that). The ONLY thing preventing five stars is I need a way to sync only the most recent podcasts (and preferably able to choose 1, 3, or 5 most recent). Syncing them all is not possible because of how many I have. Update works |
[2012-09-20] Chris: Great Works as advertised |
[2012-09-19] Oh Andy: Wasted cash I tried everything and it still not work for me.....sad panda |
[2012-09-19] Rafael: Excelent application !! |
[2012-09-19] Andrew: Looks nicer, but much slower (but now fixed) The most recent version (4.0.0) combines the USB and WiFi functions into one app, and also improves the appearance of the menus. Unfortunately, the syncing (at least for WiFi, which I tested), is *much* slower than in the previous versions. I hope that this problem is fixed quickly. Update: Fixed in 4.0.1. Thanks! |
[2012-09-19] Dustin: Perfect Dev is very fast on fixes and works great even under jellybean. Love the holo update |
[2012-09-18] Sunil: works flawlessly Using iSyncr to sync with iTunes for an while and faced zero issues. |
[2012-09-17] Zsiga: No good I purchased this program and couldn't get it work once. So I sent an email asking for help and I was totally ignored. Hence the one star. I want my money back. OK so I had certain issues that were not being handled right away. Now I am receiving the help I was looking for in the first place so I am changing my rating to a five star. |
[2012-09-14] kmswoboda: Isyncr Doesn't work. |
[2012-09-12] Paul: Does exactly what it says worth every penny! |
[2012-09-12] Jaime: Great It does exactly what it says it does, great app |
[2012-09-08] Earl: Works-Samsung Galaxy Proclaim-MacBook Pro Mtn Lion Installed properly on my Samsung Galaxy Proclaim SCH-S720C the first try with very little effort. All the music that was on my MacBook Pro runnning Mountain Lion is now on my Android! I strongly recommend the iSyncr WiFi Add-On as well. |
[2012-09-06] Lara: Incredible dev support I've used this for nearly the whole two years I had my HTC Incredible. Worked instantly and without fuss, and I was very happy with it. Just a few days ago I switched to a Galaxy Nexus running 4.1, and...the iSyncr desktop didn't install, throwing an unknown error every time. So, frustrated, I emailed the iSyncr team and they responded within 24 hours with a working installer! Now I'm up and running again and I've barely felt the stumble. This isn't just a great product, but made and supported by an incredible team. |
[2012-09-05] Josh: Wast of money Was not strait forward or easy and could not get how it was meant to work and the tutorial was basic and left me at a dead end!! save your money don't buy this |
[2012-09-04] H: Best 2.99 ever! Works great! So easy. |
[2012-09-01] Hadxs: This app is total garbage I bought iSyncr for Mac since it became available but frankly after all the updates it doesn't even work correctly, ever. Sometimes it gets stuck at the interface with "Working...", sometimes it doesn't even recognize my phone anymore, sometimes it ERASES all the music I have synced (Around 15Gb). I have used it with Motorola, HTC, Nexus, Sony, Samsung phones an every time there are errors. Seriously, anyone thinking of buying this crap simply don't, you will be better off copying your music manually. |
[2012-08-31] Laura: Can't get to work. I have a Mac and a Samsung Galaxy S3. I can't get this app to work. It also charged more than the $2.99 advertised. |
[2012-08-31] Jianhui: Works well with Samsung S3 Thanks for making it work. I can use isyncr on my mac even when Android File Transfer doesn't work. Nice. Try to make the app prettier though |
[2012-08-26] john: totally useless After spending several hours trying to make this work with my MacBook Pro and Galaxy S3, I give up. This program crashed my computer, something that just doesn't happen. Save your money and avoid this product. |
[2012-08-21] Jeffrey: Just Works I installed the iSyncr program on a mini which was just upgraded to Mountain Lion. Then I went to my Galaxy Nexus running 4.0.4 and opened the iSyncr app. I followed the instructions and it worked flawlessly the first time. I highly recommend this program for anyone looking to sync iTunes playlists etc. to their Android device. I also sync'd my photos (what the heck) and that worked perfectly as well. The phone app showed me what it was doing and i received notifications via Growl (already in use) on my mac. so far so good. as always YMMV |
[2012-08-20] Eric: Excellent This app works really well on the s3, coupled with the Rocket Player is the best combination out there a must have. |
[2012-08-20] Err: Kool Very good |
[2012-08-19] lukeo: Simple and easy iTunes syncing! Really easy and simple to use, works great! You must get the WiFi Syncr add-on for an even better solution!! |
[2012-08-19] stephen: Samsung tab 2 7.0 stevo Worked well for me, bit of doodling around with mac , but all in all, easy. Tried some others to no avail |
[2012-08-19] Matt: Great but... Bought a new phone and was putting my music back on my SD card and now its saying some songs are not compatible. Any ideas? Has never happen before!!! |
[2012-08-17] Ben Basan: Best Alternative for Mac Users Moving to Android has been difficult, not least because of the lack of integration with any decent mac compatible music manager. Since I have my music in iTunes already, a program that works with iTunes is an ideal solution. There are others out there, DoubleTwist being the most publicized, but iSyncr takes the cake. So, what's good about iSyncr? It syncs your playlists from iTunes and remembers which lists have been synced (DoubleTwist does not). It's fairly fast and painless too. No complaints. My only complaint - and the reason for taking away a star - is that iSyncr lodges itself in your startup items for absolutely no good reason. It doesn't load any faster. I don't need it for ordinary computing tasks, and, worst of all, unless my phone is plugged in my computer can't find the file anyway! Please get rid of this annoying behavior and 5 stars it is! 8/16: This is to say that if you are having trouble with iSyncr, make sure you run the installer after each update. I forgot to and had all sorts of issues. |
[2012-08-17] elvanmcm: Great App Easy to install and use, just follow the instructions. |
[2012-08-14] James: Works! Great! |
[2012-08-14] Chance: Fantastic All I wanted were my playlists without hassle. This does just that. Well worth it and it was super speedy in syncing; and it didn't crash! Very impressed. |
[2012-08-13] Karl: SGIII Works Great After using the Kies uninstaller, to get rid of Samsung Kies, and downloading iSyncr 3.6 for my Macbook Pro, I have successfully downloaded my iTunes library to my SGIII. So far, so great. Nice not to have to stream and use up data while away from WiFi. Worth the money. |
[2012-08-13] Chris: It does work on mountain lion. Works great on Mountain lion. On my HTC Evo and on my Galaxy nexus running 4.1. What are you talkin bout Willis? |
[2012-08-13] Troy: Works Just picked up the Galaxy S3. Needed to import my music library and Samsung didn't make it as easy as this. Takes about 5 minutes to set up and transfer. Worth it!! |
[2012-08-12] technoteacher: Amazing I let Double Twist have a chance to perform this task, but after 24 hours the wheel was still spinning and it hadn't found the itunes playlists (at least not 50% of them). Isyncr did the job in the minutes! Great interface. It just works. |
[2012-08-10] Martin: Wouldn't open on my mac It won't work with mountain lion on Mac and has issues with ice cream sandwich. Poor. |
[2012-08-10] Yuros: Works perfectly I just switched to Galaxy S3 from iPhone. I had extremely frustrating couple of days trying to figure out how to sync my music from Mac to S3, this app saved the day! Works perfectly and as far as I know it is currently the only way to get music from iTunes to S3. Mac does not recognize new MPA format of the latest Android. So even if you switch from iTunes to SongBird or any other music manager, they will not see your phone when you plug it in. Samsung's Kies is the only way to transfer music via USB and it is absolute rubbish as a music manager and does not even support playlists on the device. Unti MacOS starts recognizing USB MPA devices or until Kies has a major update, this iSyncr is the best way to sync your music. |
[2012-08-08] JABITheW: Good if glitchy Works very well when it works, and it gives you an option to retain existing files so it's not an either/or like iTunes+iPod. Quick. Sometimes takes one or two goes to get it started. |
[2012-08-08] Debian Dog: It DOES work on a Samsung S3 For those of you that think it does not work sorry it does... but you have to really pay attention to the instructions. You MUST uninstall Kies for Mac. Not drop it in the Trash Bin use the uninstall in the Kies DMG file. You MUST take it out of USB debugging mode in Developer options. You MUST put it in MTP mode in your USB connection setting pulldown. You must have iSyncr 3.1.5 loaded on your Mac. Interface is "not bad" but it lacks some polish. Faster than Doubletwist over WiFi for sure. |
[2012-08-07] S: does not work! followed all the instructions. even Google n YouTube. still doesn't sync my itune to my Samsung galaxy s3. very disappointed. don't waste yr money |
[2012-08-07] Francisco: Galaxy s3 I have no problems. Work perfect |
[2012-08-05] Paul: The best... ...way I've found to easily import music from iTunes to Android. Nice to not need to install an additional music player. Works very well. Only minor complaint is that it doesn't import all the album art for some reason. |
[2012-08-04] scooterbaga: Absolutely essential, for Smart Playlists users! Long ago I made the switch to Smart Playlists and never looked back. The ability to have iTunes manage playlist based on usage is something far too many people don't take advantage of. It's really something wonderful to have a group of songs that can evolve based on your listening habits. Something as simple as keeping track of your play counts, last played time, and rating can translate into living playlists. My biggest fear in getting an Android and "condensing" the devices I carry around was that I'd lose Smart Playlists. iSyncr with the right Android music player solves this issue. (I use PlayerPro) The syncing process may be different than what you're used to, but it's easy and straightforward. iSyncr is worth every penny. I would never want to be without it. One of the very few apps I wish I could give more than five stars. Thanks dev! |
[2012-08-04] Scott: Hmm..... I Downloaded everything I was supposed to, and every time I plug my phone into my iMac, my computer freezes up. I emailed isyncr and have yet to get any sort of response. Discouraging when you've bought their app! Since I cannot get it to work, hard to give his anything other than a zero and to suggest people stay away. The only reason its getting one star is that you have to give it something before it will let you post. |
