[2013-08-06] A Google User: No support for big screen I have a galaxy s4 and the app doesnt fill up the screen. It is wnnoying because this tuner is really expensive |
[2013-08-03] A Google User: Solid app I really like this app as a clarinet player. Currently the frequency display is buggy. The decimal value is not visible. Galaxy S4. |
[2013-07-16] A Google User: Nearly the Best, but it does have it's Deficiencies For the most part a very inexpensive, flexible and accurate app. For the professional, using various temperaments, and actually needing to tune movable frets to separate sharps and flats, this app lacks the one thing that would make it perfection over my VioLab tuner. Until custom programmable temperaments are available in the Android app, or the ability to tune sharps and flats separately in meantone temperaments, I have to rate it low. Sorry. |
[2013-07-16] A Google User: Just simply amazing! Its easy to use and works every time! |
[2013-07-14] A Google User: Nice, and love the appearance Seems accurate, and looks good doing its thing |
[2013-07-12] A Google User: Doesn't work on Galaxy S4 Won't play tuning tone. Useless on this phone. |
[2013-06-27] A Google User: Laggy This app seems very professional but when you actually use it it often takes a few seconds for it to register what the note is. Also, there is a bug which means that it never works properly immediately after opening. Not really worth £4. Use the free g strings tuner instead |
[2013-06-20] A Google User: Very accurate but not smooth IOS version is much smoother but this is very accurate |
[2013-06-17] A Google User: Pretty good, but still lacking. It's great, except I need a faster & easier way to adjust the reference frequency. I tune pipe organs and it's time consuming to enter the menu and type in a new frequency repeatedly to match the tuner to an existing reference pitch, or taking the median of a group of frequencies. Also, I need the ability to enter custom tunings. For instance, i have an instrument tuned in Fisk II, which is not included. |
[2013-06-08] A Google User: The best. The most accurate tuner. I had this on my iPhone but now I had to change into the Galaxy S4 and thought it's worth the 3.99 once again. |
[2013-06-08] A Google User: Awesome tuner Worth the money |
[2013-06-08] A Google User: maybe the best tuner this is one tuner I always use. worth the little amount fully! |
[2013-06-04] A Google User: Good tuner. This app functions excellently. It could use a new icon. The “shiny, ” iOS-derived icon currently is use sharply contrasts with the rest of Android. |
[2013-06-01] A Google User: Best Tuner on Android This is the best tuner on android because of its simplicity and smoothness. All oyher tuners on Android suck but this one is absolutely amazing. |
[2013-05-31] A Google User: Bugs Constantly freezes and hangs on my s3. Cant depend on it to be working when I need it. |
[2013-05-26] A Google User: Best tuning app Best tuning app ever. Used it from the beginning on my D1, always dead-nuts accurate. |
[2013-05-20] A Google User: the best simply the best, even in noisy situations! |
[2013-05-16] A Google User: Adonis Very very good, I just wish I could transfer it to my SD card. |
[2013-04-30] A Google User: Perfect Use it for studio/gigs, does what it says on the tin and really accurate to the cent! |
[2013-04-27] A Google User: Good Should contain a plus and minus button so you can controllably obtain a desired frequency without having to find it by turning the wheel. Other than it is wonderful and I use it all the time to tune my trumpet! |
[2013-04-09] A Google User: Excellent, but need of presets I am using to tune my cello, viola da gambas and harpsichord. All between a440-415-392. I have to change temperaments all the time. I would be awesome if could save a combination of settings in presets. |
[2013-04-01] A Google User: Evo 3d Absolutely the best tuner app on the market hands down! Well worth the 4 bucks....nothing less than 20 bucks for a tuner at the store |
[2013-03-31] A Google User: Getting better This app has really improved recently. Working better and better.I teach middle school orchestra and have to tune lots of instruments. |
[2013-03-28] A Google User: Good but needs work on temperaments Very effective on Galaxy S3. I use my own temperament tuning; got 2 problems: 1) App does not provide a way to enter negative values when entering a temperament. I cut & pasted a negative sign into the listing - it worked! But needs a negative button. 2) Tuning comes out 8 cents high overall, compared with my Sonic Research Turbo Tuner (with accuracy traceable to NIST). App needs a way of zeroing the 440 A. |
[2013-03-24] A Google User: Jacob Finch All of what I needed in a portable tuner. Perfect! |
[2013-03-21] A Google User: Verified piano tuning. Just paid a guy to tune my piano, and thought it was worth the $3.99 to verify what he did. I had not had it tuned for a while, and Cleartune verified what he said he did. The middle notes locked exactly in tune, and the higher/lower notes are off a little. It was worth it to play with it. Now I will write down how far off each key is and see when it starts to get out of tune to know when to have it done again. Yes I could maybe learn how to do it myself, but you would need some tools and watch a lot of Youtube. Just knowing when to have it done is probably worth the app price. It's amazing how well this app works. It locks right in to the key and tells me which key I pressed. |
[2013-03-03] A Google User: Love it Very easy to use n accurate.. |
[2013-02-27] A Google User: The Best I have tried so many tuners but this one is the most easy to use and most accurate. The interface is really cool too! |
[2013-02-26] A Google User: Brilliant tuner. Smooth, intuitive and hands free. Love it! |
[2013-02-02] A Google User: Best This tuner was recommended to me by my band director and it is the best tuner I have found. |
[2013-01-01] A Google User: Custom temperaments don't work Custom temperaments is why I bought it and this feature doesn't load the custom settings that I enter. Developers haven't been any help, they're going to look in to it. DaTuner Pro is what I've found since (cheaper also) and it works perfectly. |
[2012-12-10] A Google User: None better Simply the best tuner on the market, bar none. |
[2012-12-05] A Google User: The best for your money A local high school band director turned me on to cleartune. The iPhone version is certainly smoother but droid version gets the same results. Great tuner!! |
[2012-12-04] A Google User: Ukulele Great use it every day to tune my ukulele thank u :-) |
[2012-11-24] A Google User: Pro, handsome, cool Great now. Had erratic needle but new version now works super on droid x. g tuner works gr8 for free, but cleartune looks awesome and is well worth $5 |
[2012-11-10] A Google User: Works perfect Worth it |
[2012-11-06] A Google User: CLEARTUNE VERY,VERY GOOD. I USE THIS APP,END I LIKE IT...... |
[2012-10-27] A Google User: First install crashed Unistalled, rebooted a couple times, reinstalled. It now vibrates when I sound a pitch. So, at least I know my SG3 vibrates an F? Was/is buggy on G1, Vibrant, TPT, SG3. Works great on GNote. Welcome to Android, boys. |
[2012-10-26] A Google User: Completely Worth It Minus one thing: no landscape. Please fix this. |
[2012-10-17] A Google User: Good apps Have to edit my comment..as i open it again..it works really good..thanks |
[2012-10-10] A Google User: IPhone version much better I used to have this on my iPhone so when I upgraded to an android phone (HTC one x) I bought it again. It still works and is still accurate but is really jerky so not as easy to use (it runs mega smooth on iphone). Disappointed overall as it's not exactly a memory intensive app. |
[2012-10-05] A Google User: Great Great |
[2012-10-02] A Google User: Finally - frequency display Thank you for adding the frequency display, my most missed feature from the iOS version. Now this version is perfect! |
[2012-10-02] A Google User: consistent excellence never had an issue with this app or its tuning abilities. perfect for my acoustic |
[2012-10-01] A Google User: :D Awesome use it all the time. |
[2012-10-01] A Google User: Good Still the best, but the note-circle is rotating like hell after update! Please, fix it back. Freq. display says that in silence it always goes to 10.8Hz - you should add some HP filter. |
[2012-09-27] A Google User: Perfect I use it it tune my spinet |
[2012-09-25] A Google User: Outstanding Great for all pitches and temperaments. Thank you! |
[2012-09-18] A Google User: Simply amazing! |
[2012-09-18] A Google User: Great Accurate and sensitive. Works even when playing in an ensemble |
[2012-09-18] A Google User: Great tuner First class app. Brilliant for either acoustic or electric guitars |
[2012-09-17] A Google User: Hurray! I love this app. And thanks for the recent update! It finally looks good on larger screens. |
[2012-09-17] A Google User: Great tool for tuning continuo organs and the like. The unequal temperament scales especially useful. Highly recommended. |
[2012-09-17] A Google User: Perfect tuning Love this app - use it even during live performance - as good as very expensive stand alone tuning devices |
[2012-09-16] A Google User: 5 stars! Amazing! |
[2012-09-16] A Google User: Superb An excellent replacement for costly tuning forks. The volume control allows me to hear it with background noise or use it discreetly in quieter circumstances. The range o notes available is wider than other, similar apps. Who could ask for anything more? |
[2012-09-15] A Google User: Just... Wow. Perfectly tuned a ukulele. Quite happy with it. |
[2012-09-15] A Google User: My go to tuner for all occasions! Great app. Update has smoothed the needle considerably! |
[2012-09-14] A Google User: Best tuner interface I've seen. This does its job properly, and the recent update makes it scale correctly to fill the screen of my Galaxy Note. I'm delighted. |
[2012-09-14] A Google User: The best.... Hands down |
[2012-09-13] A Google User: Galaxy Note, Android 4.0.4 Now this app is perfect |
[2012-09-13] A Google User: Excellent |
[2012-09-13] A Google User: Excellent App |
[2012-09-13] A Google User: The best tuner on the market I had this tuner on my iPhone. I have it on my Samsung Galaxy S2. It had more functions on android than iPhone. I love this tuner. Never had to use a plug in device when using it on either phone. Picks up everything and works great with my acoustic and electric (even unplugged) guitars. Love it! |
[2012-09-09] A Google User: NICE Nice app ,quite accurate! |
[2012-09-05] A Google User: A 'must-have' for every musician Useful, not only for all string players, but also for players of every type of keyboard instrument. It's perfect for tuning almost any historical temperament such as quarter-comma meantone and Valloti—in fact any temperament that the professional tuner is ever likely to be asked for. I used to carry round a book with instructions for tuning all the temperaments by ear but now this simple app on my Nexus 7 is all I'll ever need. Indispensable! |
[2012-09-01] A Google User: Tuner works Worth the price |
[2012-08-23] A Google User: Awesome I use this all the time for intonation practice as well as just tuning my double bass. Only drawback is the the drone tone feature doesn't work if you turn the screen off to conserve device battery power. Other than that this is the best app on the market, and better than most purpose-built tuners. |
[2012-08-23] A Google User: Great tuner More accurate than my other tuners ever could be. I use it for precision tuning to record with. |
[2012-08-16] A Google User: Xhdpi support? Doesn't seem to support xhdpi resolution, as the app is much smaller than the screen allows. There are black areas all around the app. Please update! If not for the resolution issue, this app would be perfect. |
[2012-08-04] A Google User: Good ...but a little too sensitive/wobbly? |
[2012-08-02] A Google User: Best I've had Really good tuner. Better than any cheap hardware guitar tuner I've had. Now using to learn trombone with and the pitch wheel UI is really helpful for getting perfect intonation. |
[2012-07-28] A Google User: Great app but I've been using this tuner for a while. it needs updating however as when I switched from HTC desire to Galaxy note, the app no longer fills the screen, which is a shame as I put it on the floor to tune and it would make seeing the needle much easier. |
[2012-07-25] A Google User: Perfection Bought this originally on my iPod, and absolutely needed it on my galaxy tab. Great app, very accurate, and a dream to use. |
[2012-07-23] A Google User: Good app! The only thing negative I have to say about this app is it needs to still the whole screen for certain devices |
[2012-07-22] A Google User: Excellent Cool app. well worth the cash. Tried others sticking with this. |
[2012-07-19] A Google User: Love this app! Love it! |
[2012-07-05] A Google User: Perfect for harpsichord I have been using this to tune my double manual French harpsichord from my Iconia A100 tablet for the last six months and am astounded by the accuracy from the lowest to the highest notes. I do fine tune by ear once I am done, but seldom need much further adjustment other than at the top of the 4' register. I generally use Valotti or Kirnberger temperaments with a=415 and no longer need my expensive old standalone digital tuner to do so. |
[2012-07-05] A Google User: Awesome The best tuner app ever! |
[2012-06-30] A Google User: Great The only problem is that it doesn't scale well to a 720p screen on HTC one x |
[2012-06-26] A Google User: Perfection! Never again do I have to waste money on batteries for my Korg tuner. This tuner is unbelievably accurate and the next best thing to my Peterson strobe tuner!! |
[2012-06-21] A Google User: Noel Brilliant. |
[2012-06-14] A Google User: Seriously, I had this app on my iPhone and it worked amazingly well. It doesn't work at all on my atrix, what gives? It does nothing. No movement |
[2012-05-30] A Google User: Guitar Tuner Awesome app. It's quick and easy. Love it! |
[2012-05-18] A Google User: Thanks. It's very good. Unfortunately doesn't fill the screen of my 7" tablet, but still functional. |
[2012-05-05] A Google User: Great! Simple, useful, never leave your tuner behind again. |
[2012-05-02] A Google User: French Horn Great for tuning my double horn! |
[2012-05-01] A Google User: Recommend! Hands down best smooth precise tuner I havE ever used. worth every penny to day the least |
[2012-04-29] A Google User: Im always asking my mom for a tuner ! But everything was 30 dollars ! But I got this instead ! Cheap , but works very well !! |
[2012-04-27] A Google User: Perfect Pitch |
[2012-04-26] A Google User: Does what I need I am a music student and use this app at least once a day, and usually its more than once. It has more than paid for itself and is an invaluable resource for any musician |
[2012-04-15] A Google User: Great |
[2012-04-11] A Google User: Gc 51 Brill app!! a pleasure to use!! |
[2012-04-10] A Google User: Love this! Please develop CLOCKWORK for Android!! |
[2012-04-02] A Google User: Flawless Can't fault it. |
[2012-03-30] A Google User: Disappointed, but it's OK... Not a good tuner for male bass voice, esp. below low-C. On the other hand, for instrumentalist, it is, dead-on. I do wish it could delineate chords using the circle of 5ths, a much needed feature for choral groups. |
