Explore a variety of bird calls with this Soundboard, all taken from live field-recordings. For each call, you can listen, set as a ringtone, or share via email.

App2SD supported (Froyo, 2.2 and higher).

Permissions used (and why):

INTERNET -- Used by the App to access ads

ACCESS NETWORK STATE -- Used by the App to prevent the attempt to fetch ads when not online

WRITE EXTERNAL STORAGE -- Used by the App to save sounds as ringtone

Works great Used the cardinal sound to get a cardinal to fly right up next to me in a tree. So cool! Wish they had more common bird sounds like the Robin.

Great app and funny trick Works as described. Birds sound realistic. Loud and clear on my Galaxy Nexus. Sounds can be used as ringtones. It's fun to be walking outside and unleash a local bird and have people start looking around. And then, drop a Kookaburra on them and watch them freak out. Works well on little kids and cats too.

More variety Love the image and name of the bird, this is the simplest and best interface for a bird call app.. but I agree with other comments, needs more variety! I would personally request some swallows :)

Pretty great Been trying to find a loon call for a notification, this one is a little long, but at least it's there. Good for a free app.

Not worth all the popup So sound ok, others have a lot of background noise. Plus it has lots of popups and runs at startup, not sure why? Slows startup down. Uninstalled it, others in market place are better.

Instant Beast Master Birds respond. Not just vocally either. Many will come right to you. Wish the app broke songs down by piece instead of one long call.

However, if I may make a suggestion, looping the calls would make this 110% perfect for me. This is very excellent though, even without the looping. Good job!

You get what you pay for. 22 randomly -selected bird songs, that's it. Including kukabura. Should have labels on the photos indicating bird name. Pretty lame...not created by an ornithologist, that's for sure.

Fooled a cardinal I used this app to attract a cardinal in my backyard and it got real excited and kept looking around. Kept playing the sound and it flew straight at me! It avoided me at the last second. LOL! This app will definitely attract birds, be ready!
