Big Photo Frame Widget (v. 1.03 - fix)

A photo frame widget derived from the original one taking 4x4, 3x3, 3x2 or 2x3 space on your screen. If you use ADWLauncher, you can resize it down to have the size you want without picture quality loss.

Please add multiple photo functionality. It's a good app, it added the picture I wanted without any real hassle. The one thing that would make this and any other photo app great is the ability to choose multiple photos. I will reinstall then.

Freezes Great concept, but it needs work. The widget freezes if you try to add a second widget (including on separate screen) and if you try to remove the widget in order to re-add if you want to change the picture.

Little bug Great app. It's great when it works. It did for a while. Suddenly no longer placed frames on the screen. It starts by setting you up to choose a picture and it should place that picture on the right screen. No. It asks twice to select a picture and then goes back to the screen and nothing happened. Reinstalled it several times, but no luck. Any fix coming soon?

Poorly-designed interface You can't control the aspect ratio, so it is very difficult to crop an image without it becoming a blurry, skewed stretched mess. When you finally find something you can tolerate, it crops it even smaller than you planned. I tried a few times to fix the additional cropping, but to no avail. I cannot in good faith recommend this widget.

Force close and issues One X Had this for a long time and was great to find a frame that fit 3x2 scale. Problem is that for me it continuously force closes and increasingly causes crashes on my HTC. Uninstalled it now but will keep an eye out for updates and may give it another go in the future.

Poor cropping utility Like a photo at a certain size or dimensions? Too bad. This widget crops in whatever arbitrary way it feels like cropping, regardless of how you told it to. Don't waste your time.

Way too blurry Made the picture way too blurry, whether I cropped it, let it crop itself, or used pics from different distances. I needed it for a specific purpose and the quality just wasn't there, so I had to uninstall, sorry.

Needs work Nice to have a simple frame widget without unnecessary frills, but is let down by its failure to handle aspect ratio properly. Unless you clip your photo to the exact aspect of the widget you're loading (and there's nothing to guide you) then the picture is distorted. Too much work, may come back later and see if this is fixed.

nice idea, but... widget needs to display the photo on the home screen in it's original resolution. had a photo taken with an SLR displaying like it had been taken with a VGA camera. could also do with more height x width combinations. otherwise, its what I'm looking for, clean frame and no intrusive special permissions

Its great when it works (Galaxy Nexus) It rarely works, rarely. When I turn my phone off and on, this app always fails. When my phone stays on for a while, it randomly fails a lot.
