Awesome! Best music player. But 2 flaws, 1 huge. It has killer functions which work very well...I tried 10+ apps to playback fast and none worked but this one . Flaws: Requires internet connection to start. So at the beach in mexico I was all setup to use it and NADA. That's unacceptable. I can't believe enough people know how to steal apps to make this DRM worthwhile. 2nd flaw, minor, interface is trying to hard to look cool and has crappy functionality.

not so good since being updated This just got updated and now I have lost some of the features, even though I paid for it. I do not want the Pro version as it sucks, with a bad interface that is no good. I want the old version back that I had before, it worked well. It used to be a great app for playing podcasts, does what I want, i.e. adjust playback speed. Needs to have a speed adjuster on the playback page as well. Add Ogg too.

Great music player Great music player with useful bookmark facilities for listening to long music tracks. Unfortunately I think it's got too big now and every update breaks something. Last update I get force close as soon as I open it so now it's useless!!!

newer versions locking up occass. locks up when switching songs and seems to lose connection to the player service when connecting to bt audio. i use galaxy s2 and non pitch corrected playspeed. i reverted to 1.158 and it works like a charm.

Vairable speed playback! So far the only app I've found for my Nexus 7 that supports variable speed playback (great for podcasts). Playback is adjustable from x0.05 to x2.0 (w/pitch correction) and as fast as x6.0 in .01 increments! Amazing!

Wow. Everything just works. I sent an email to the developer re: bluetooth control. A day later an email and a fix came. Hot keys include the ability to go forward/back by a configurable number of seconds. Bluetooth hot keys for the headset include both a normal and short forward/back. For those with bluetooth keyboards, the app also intercepts the following buttons: pause/play, rewind, ff, and stop. If I could give it 10 stars, I would. Thank you.

a reason why android is great Not every media player (see every iPod iteration, most music players) recognize long audio files as a "real" use case. This one does. Bookmarking, auto-bookmarking = 5 stars I don't use it for everything, but it does exactly what I need and can't get from most other music playing apps. Sometimes we need duplicated functionality to get complete functionality. Astro Player Nova rules for long files.
