Details:
"AndRecorder - Free" is a free sound recorder with an easy to use interface and elaborate functionality, including:
* Large button to start and stop recording
* Easy access through notification (cancelable through settings)
* No limit on recording length
* Creates WAVs, which allow easy usage with various editing tools
* Recording frequency rate setting - 11025/22050/44100 Hz.
* Recorded file header and counter setting
* Pause-record functionality
* Playback functions including:
- Sort by recording date or name
- Show today's/week's/all recordings
- Play/Pause/Stop functionality
- Repeat One/All/None
- Delete recording
- Email recording (limited by email attachment size)
- Various recording date format settings
* 3 Themes (icon sets) available)
* Records during screen-off
AndRecorder is not a call-recorder (although on some HTC and Motorola phones, it can record even during calls, allowing for call recording when the speaker is used).
General application and development details:
We welcome all feedback and address users' needs and requests, including problem solving. The main screen features a "Send Feedback" button for that purpose exactly.

There is also a Premium version, which has additional FastForward and SeekBar functionality for playback, as well as "Set as Ringtone".

This is an ongoing project, with other features yet on the "future features" list.

Wow this js the best music recording app ever Not only is the sound good but it gives you a option to upload recordings online, I accidentaly sent in the wrong song I emailed them asking if they could remove it and in less than 10 min I got a reply from a real person saying it had been done, I sent another saying I would rate and again less than 10 min they replied acthank you......thank you guys

Falsely saying no on the limitation of time on the free version.Whats a reason why it would end the recording before you press stop? I saw this program that looks good and granted I had tested it, but then I tried it and I tried to see how well it would record an important conversation. The problem is that it took recording and showed that it was recording while in essence it stopped exactly at one hour. Either there is something that stops in and midconversation the weather is clear speech happening, what is the limitation on how long you can record where it says explicitly inside the materials that there's no limitation

Best Recorder I haven't found a better sound recorder on the market. My only suggestion would be to make it so that you can rewind your recording while it's playing and not have to restart the entire thing; especially for 5 minute recordings.

love it After just a few hours with it I'm really impressed. Been needing something that records sound impressively as a study aid. I finally found what I was looking for. The quality of the sound is really good; which sets it apart from the AL voice recorder. The PAUSE function is also a God send. Does exactly what out is supposed to Good quality sound on DroidX. Nice controls for start, pause, record. Easy playback, rename files, and delete files.

Pretty good. Of the 3 recorders that I have tried (Hi-Q lite & RecForge free), this one produced the best audio quality. Also, it made use of the stereo microphones on my Xperia Ray. It can only produce lossless wav files, which are 10MB per minute (high quality, stereo). Program is also large at 1 MB. Also, no gain control, and generally it handles levels well, but live performances cause clipping. No recording level display. Recording time counter is much too small.

Some Quirks Droid X I love the app's interface, but there is no way to fast forward a recording. Some of mine are an hour long and I want quick access to the middle. No can do - gotta play 30 minutes worth first. Also, on one long recording, there were frequent skips. I am guessing the Droid X was busy doing other things (checking for email, etc) while recording. Learned to put in Airplane Mode before starting a long recording, although I don't know if that resolved the issue. Uninstallling and looking for a better app.
