En esta nueva versión PRO, se han añadido una serie de calculadoras a los principios activos y a los nombres comerciales para facilitar el cálculo de las dosis.

Las pautas y tratamientos de medicación intravenosa constituyen en muchas ocasiones una ardua tarea para el profesional de la medicina, que ha de servirse en innumerables circunstancias de una calculadora de bolsillo.
Existen múltiples manuales de bolsillo en formato analógico para este fin, que bien por la ausencia del tipo de suero indicado para la dilución y administración del fármaco, bien por la complejidad de la preparación, pueden ser difíciles de aplicar.

Este manual pretende presentar al profesional una manera sencilla de diluir todas las presentaciones farmacológicas, así como un acercamiento a la era digital, proporcionando un rápido acceso a la información. Paralelamente, cada uno de los fármacos dispone de su propia tabla de aplicación variando según el peso, así como una sencilla formula para cálculos mas complejos.

Esta aplicación resulta imprescindible para todos los profesionales sanitarios que de una manera u otra están en contacto con el uso de medicaciones intravenosas: residentes, urgenciólogos, intensivistas, anestesistas, etc…
