Life is too short to waste time suffering because of your food... use this app to quickly determine whether a food is likely to cause you problems.
Just glance down to see one of three icons for "good", "bad", or "unsure" (meaning that different sources disagree about the effects of that particular food).
This free app contains a list that was created from several sources (listed in the About tab of the app) to create a master list of about 250 foods.
Disclaimer: this app is not made by a doctor and it does not attempt to diagnose or treat anything. It is simply a helpful tool to assist people trying to adhere to a low FODMAP diet.

[2012-11-19] A Google User: Great simple list Very useful to have this list easy to refer to! I would like to see a feature to allow you to look at only the not allowed foods or only the allowed foods |
[2012-11-05] A Google User: Makes choice easier There is such a range of foods we can and can't eat - so much that I can't remember it all. Having this app makes choosing what I buy and eat so much more convenient and easier. |
[2012-10-20] A Google User: Good app Love having the list of foods, wish there were more foods on it. It would be nice to be able to add foods, as well as change the ratings of existing foods. |
[2012-09-20] A Google User: This is a big help. It's nice having a memory aid, but it would be nicer if I could tailor the list to my needs. I would love to be able to add foodstuffs. |
[2012-09-17] A Google User: Handy Very handy. Would be great if there was a community option where people can log the foods specific to them and known avoid foods. That way we would see diets emerging that may work for specific problems. E.g. I know garlic and onions are my no.1 avoid foods. |
[2012-09-04] A Google User: Best list of foods I have found! One request is to have alternative suggestions for foods that are red flagged so we know what we can eat in place of that item. Margerine for instance...what can I use instead of that? |
[2012-08-05] A Google User: Fantastic app Brilliant app, an absolute life saver. Makes shopping much easier. Can't wait for more updates! |
[2012-07-06] A Google User: Helpful Nice to have this list handy. |
[2012-06-10] A Google User: Useful, quick & simple Looking forward to a more comprehensive list. Increase specificity by explaining what in fritata is ok |
[2012-03-15] A Google User: Great app Great help. would be cool to add own ones or rate items |
[2012-02-19] A Google User: Good base! Great base for a really great low FODMAP app! It's free, so I really can't complain (and I'm not, I promise!) but this could be a PERFECT app if some modifications were made. For instance, it's very obvious the food list is quite Americanised, so a lot of items are missing that are common in an Australian or British diet. So it would be great if we could add our own custom foods. Either that, or make the list much more extensive (maybe take suggestions from your current user base? we're here and we'd love to help you!) and then categorise the foods so it isn't such a massive scrollable list. I do appreciate that the list is from a variety of sources, and the ok/not sure/can't eat ratings, because it really does differ from person to person. It's also a really clean UI. Some things in the list were a bit confusing e.g. "french toast" (unless it's made with gluten-free bread) and "gelato" (most flavours would contain milk solids). |

[2012-02-08] A Google User: Good tool! Very comprehensive list, only minus the food should be editable for personal diets |
[2012-01-23] A Google User: Crashes on launch on ICS Unfortunately it crashes when started on Android 4.0.1(Ice Cream Sandwich) on Samsung Galaxy Nexus. Crash report sent. |
[2012-01-07] A Google User: Can't edit Fodmaps is about finding what works for you...this would've great if I could change a rating or add my own food items. What do you think? |
[2012-01-03] A Google User: Update list please Sweet corn should not be on the allowed list as well as other recent finds. |
[2012-01-03] A Google User: Exactly the type of app I need. However does not include all foods. Still great. |
[2011-10-10] A Google User: Most accurate list so-far! Compiled from many sources (listed in the app). @Ben - sry, your comment isn't helpful: please contact app creator if u have more or diff info. |
[2011-09-27] A Google User: Very helpful, appreciate how tricky it is to keep it current/correct. Would be great if we could add our own triggers to the list though.. |
[2011-09-07] A Google User: The issue with this list is its very misleading. It is not accurate and therefore not very useful for those affected. Some contain complx ingredients |
[2011-09-01] A Google User: Thank you! Great way to see what foods may make my daughter's symptoms worse. Would love to add custom items and ability to email/sms to babysitter. |
[2011-06-19] A Google User: Really handy to have at hand. Every little bit helps. |
