This is the first app that offers patients and their families' basic information about home health care. It answers the popular questions like: What is homecare?, Who pays? What services are available? and What are my rights?. It also has helpful tips, resources and a glossary.

The app also offers professional and para-professional caregivers with industry news, events and insights. It's a great tool for field staff as well as agencies, associations and vendors to keep current with homecare happenings.


Each tab in the app has something to offer:  

Patients - Offers basic homecare information for patients and families seeking home health services.

Providers  - Helps professional caregivers keep up-to-date with industry news, events, ideas and legislation.

Locator – Displays the closest homecare resources using the smartphone GPS.

Background
Wieslab is Scandinavia’s biggest private special laboratory for the diagnosis of autoimmune diseases. Wieslab was founded in 1991 and has been an independent division of Euro-Diagnostica since 2004. The laboratory has established a high level of expertise in kidney and lung related autoimmune diseases, e.g. vasculitis. Autoimmune diseases is a complex and demanding field of medicine in constant development. Wieslab strives actively to be at the front of this development to be able to offer new and sometimes unusual analyses for the diagnosis of rare autoimmune diseases.
In 1996 the first edition of ”Laboratory Manual” was published. The initiative to publish a brief summary of analyses in the autoimmune area came as a result of the great interest in this exciting and rapidly growing area. From the very beginning our Laboratory Manual attracted a lot of interest among both laboratory personnel and personnel in clinical care. Due to the continued great interest we now have the pleasure of presenting the first Android application on diagnosing autoimmune diseases.

Warning
The information in this application represents the testing protocols used at Wieslab. If you use other laboratories, please check the methods and reference ranges that are used there.

When do I order an autoantibody analysis?
On suspicion of chronic or acute inflammatory diseases with the presence of autoantibodies, in particular to confirm or exclude the diagnosis, and to assess disease activity, prognosis and effect of treatment of certain diseases.

Remember!
On suspicion of an autoimmune disease it should be noted that findings of autoantibodies can only be used to support the diagnosis, as autoantibodies may occur without a disease or as a transient phenomenon during infection. A positive or negative result of a test can therefore not be used for a diagnosis, if there are no defined clinical disease criteria. In some diseases it may be appropriate to monitor the concentration of autoantibodies with regard to the development of manifest disease, on other occasions with regard to the assessment of disease activity, prognosis or effect of the treatment.

What should I send?
Take a venous or capillary blood sample in a tube without additive, let the sample clot and centrifuge it. The sample can be kept in a refrigerater while waiting for transport. Send 1-3 ml serum by ordinary mail. This will be enough for one or several analyses. For complement factor C3d, EDTA plasma is also required. Acute analyses should be sent by registered mail, taxi or courier.

What acute analyses are offered?
Acute analyses for anti-GBM and ANCA are performed all days of the year. For analyses on evenings and weekends,  please call the laboratory to discuss means of transportation.

服薬を記録することにより、「飲み忘れ時」にのみお知らせします。


正しく薬を飲むことはあなたの身体にとって大事なことです。しかし、そう思っていても「あっ！薬を飲み忘れた！」「今日の薬飲んだかな？」という経験を多くの方がお持ちと思います。しかし、服薬毎のアラームはうっとうしさや慣れの為なかなか長くは使い続けられないのではないでしょうか？

＊現在開発中の電子薬箱と高機能版「あっ！くすりPro」を使用することにより、自動で服薬を記録することができます。
Lite版では、服薬後に毎回自分で「服薬を記録する」必要があります。
