[2013-08-10] A Google User: Great app! A must have for expecting parents. The app does what it says. Missed contractions can be easily added later. The app also has a lock screen widget, which is very handy for quick timing. |
[2013-08-03] A Google User: Good interface and easy to use |
[2013-08-01] A Google User: So easy! |
[2013-07-31] A Google User: Nice, Simple App Just had my baby girl two days ago, and I used this app to time my contractions throughout my labor. Very simple and easy to use. The auto-generated averages were very helpful. Just wish it had an option to stop the timer once you start keeping track. |
[2013-07-28] A Google User: Does what you need This was really helpful with my labor, it giving an average of everything gave me a better idea of whats going on |
[2013-07-19] A Google User: Works well |
[2013-07-19] A Google User: Great app! Preventing screen from shutting off was a must have. |
[2013-06-07] A Google User: Did the job perfectly |
[2013-06-01] A Google User: All done Good app, I Had baby :) |
[2013-05-27] A Google User: Easy to use Used this through 29hrs of contractions before I got to the hospital. Easy to understand and change if a mistake is made/contraction is missed. |
[2013-04-25] A Google User: Good Good. Dev fixed bug where timer display stops updating when you leave the app and come back. |
[2013-04-24] A Google User: Helpful indeed Easy to use. Thanks. |
[2013-04-24] A Google User: Super duper Great handy useful tool |
[2013-04-11] A Google User: best out of 5 i've tried Really great that you can edit the times afterwards if you forget to stop contraction. A pitty that on my Android 2.3.5 i can only set hours and minutes, not seconds. No field there. Well let's cross fingers everything goes well with our newborn baby. |
[2013-04-03] A Google User: Useful and fast I started off running 3 separate contraction timing apps when I first started contractions, so I could compare them and see which one I liked best. By the end of my labor this was the only one I used. The ability to add a contraction is great since I was too preoccupied by pain at times to reach for my phone, yet when the pain eased I wanted the contraction to be averaged in. The ability to e-mail the info directly from the app was also great, since my hubby could see my progress from afar. |
[2013-03-29] A Google User: Did the job! Perfect! |
[2013-03-08] A Google User: Great App |
[2013-03-01] A Google User: Worked fine My wife gave birth last night and we used this app. Have great timing and averages. Only thing I'd improve is keeping screen on as having to press power to wake screen and press the contractions button is tricky when you're looking after your wife in labour |
[2013-02-22] A Google User: Excellent app Does what it's suppose to do with a very simple and clean interface. It's good to have the ability to manually enter a contraction, in case you missed one. |
[2013-02-22] A Google User: Helpful Good app. Works well and has a nice, clean design. Widget feature is a big plus. Only annoyance is that you can't edit times down to seconds, only to the nearest minute, otherwise would be 5* |
[2013-02-21] A Google User: Worked great during our labor Thank you so much for this very useful app. Very easy to use under pressure ;-) great that it has a manual input for contractions that we were not able to catch. |
[2013-02-16] A Google User: Thanks for the help Our baby girl arrived a week ago, this app sure was helpful! |
[2013-02-10] A Google User: Did what l needed Solid app. |
[2013-02-03] A Google User: The best I found You can delete, add contractions. Plus you can change the time used for averages. |
[2013-01-25] A Google User: Worked great! Did just what I needed. |
[2013-01-22] A Google User: Just what I needed! Going through contractions made my brain stop working, so this app really helped me keep my numbers straight. It's very clean and simple and has just what I needed. |
[2013-01-20] A Google User: Nice work I tried a few apps like this and liked this the best... And it worked great for my wife's labor and our son's birth at home. Great job with the continued improvements. |
[2013-01-14] A Google User: Love! It is so easy to use and I love how it includes the correct time stamp and I can add notes to each contraction. I also love how it gives me a simplified time of how long they last and the duration between them as well. Very nice and won't be using any other contraction timer! |
[2013-01-12] A Google User: Worked great This was so much easier than having to write times down on a sheet of paper. |
[2013-01-10] A Google User: This is a much better app Much better than the other ones on the top results. Better looking and more intuitive interface. I'm even using it for something else after the baby was born |
[2013-01-06] A Google User: Worked wonderfully! |
[2013-01-05] A Google User: Works great Like the edit feature but annoyed that you can only change to the nearest minute. More exact editing would be nice. Aside from that it works perfectly. |
[2013-01-02] A Google User: Just need Water Break button Best one yet. Separate columns for duration and frequency. Option to manually add in any that were missed. Just lacks a Broken Waters button. We re still going to use this one and just record her waters separately. |
[2012-12-21] A Google User: Loved it! I installed this app a few days before I actually went into labor, it worked great. I was able to time my contractions in a meaningful way. |
[2012-12-20] A Google User: Worked well, nice interface I liked the ability to add notes about contractions, and that it kept an average duration and interval. Easy to use. |
[2012-11-12] A Google User: Love it but... I'm a doula and I find myself using this app often. It is the best one on the market. However, I think it should have a pause function. You don't need to track every contraction, only a few every now and again. Pausing will allow you to track only when you want without it skewing your averages. |
[2012-11-10] A Google User: Works Good UI. We didn't use this one we used a different one. |
[2012-10-28] A Google User: A must! Fantastic app! A must have if you are expecting! There us no way you could record contraction times, calculate the frequency, and drive to the hospital at the same time. Simple clean design! Thank you Ian Lake. |
[2012-10-17] A Google User: Perfect This app was perfect when I was close/heading into labor. As a new mommy don't know what I would've done w/out it. |
[2012-10-09] A Google User: Tracked my early labor! I downloaded this app after i woke up in pain! Baby broke my water & I started contracting & I didn't have any paper to keep track & knew there must be an app for this! Kept track of the 1st 4 hours before I was admitted in to hospital. 5 hours later my baby girl was born via natural unmedicated birth :-). I would give 5 stars if it could export data to a txt or csv file. |

[2012-09-25] A Google User: Alternative Uses I needed something for continuous recording of behaviour and this turned out to be kind of perfect - gives time between incidents of behaviour, as well as duration of the behaviour. Could do with being a bit more precise but it's understandable given that it was intended to record minutes of events rather than 5 second events. Could do with a save function, but the share function served the purpose - I just emailed the results of each session when I was done. And some sort of graphing feature certainly wouldn't go amiss. |

[2012-09-06] A Google User: Fantastic Worked a treat. Impressed the midwife as well. Super reliable during a 15hour labour. My only suggestion would be an option to lock screen in portrait orientation. |

[2012-07-26] A Google User: Simple to use and effective A great simple to use app. Very useful tool when deciding when to go to the hospital. One criticism... When manually adding a contraction, you can only specify start and end time I'm hh:mm but no seconds, meaning if its <1 min duration you can't accurately input it. That aside...definitely recommended. |

[2012-06-14] A Google User: Clean, easy to use, and well-designed. I checked out several contraction timers, both free and paid, before settling on this one. The developer pays careful attention to UX, this was the most intuitive and easiest to use of the whole lot. (This matters when labor starts and you've got more important things on your mind than exploring an app.) Dev is prompt at fixing bugs. App looks nice, too. Would love to have a dark theme to save battery when the main screen takes a wakelock... otherwise it's perfect. |
