Apgar Score is an application to calculate the Apgar score, designed to assess the viability of a newborn and efficiency of primary life functions.
The Apgar score is based on five basic parameters to which you assign a "vote " from zero to two. The maximum value of the index is 10.
Infants with score at birth of less than 4 are severely depressed and in need of immediate medical intervention, those with scores between 4 and 6 are moderately "at risk" in need of assistance, supervision and repeat the test every 5 minutes, infants with a score between 7 and 10 are considered normal.
