[2013-01-03] A Google User: File not found Works fine via Web access in browser but I get file not found when using this app. Galaxy note with LinkStation WTGL |
[2012-12-30] A Google User: "Folder not created" Error Keep getting "Folder not created" error when configuring for automatic unloading. For manual upload, works fine. Pls fix it. Good if auto upload works for 3G data connection also. |
[2012-12-29] A Google User: Rubbish Rubbish. Can't connect either on wifi, 3g, or even from within same network as the link station. Either hangs my phone or times out with "cannot connect to internet " Tried again but now hangs my phone and tablet. Rubbish app. |
[2012-12-27] A Google User: an app that doesn't seem to work Ok...all in all, this app is not working and from previous comments, it seems the updates had made the app pretty useless right now. I installed it, and thought I can access my server from anywhere anytime, but I can't even access it unless I use wifi and connected to the same router. That's kind of dumb. while on my 3G, it loads nothing out, and it kept on saying can't connect to internet while there's nothing wrong with my data connection. Hurry up and fix these Buffalo!!! |
[2012-12-21] A Google User: Great for me! Can access my shares, read and write files, and plays music and movies perfectly. I would like it to support ssl on future updates. |
[2012-12-21] A Google User: ZERO support How many negative reviews and for how long before there is a fix? Wish I would have read the reviews before I bought the NAS. Luckily, I only bought it yesterday so I can still return it today. What a disappointment. |
[2012-12-20] A Google User: Auto upload from phone pictures don't work The auto upload of phone pictures feature do not work. Tested with Samsung Galaxy SIII sw 4.1.1 |
[2012-12-19] A Google User: Okay NAS..poor app! There is a definite gap here between the hardware and the software that vendors release. I've observed similar trends with other vendors as well. Come on you hardware vendors, get some better programmers onboard! |
[2012-12-15] A Google User: Sh*te! Great product Crap sw. It's soooo sloooow and virtually unusable. Could do better Buffalo! |
[2012-12-12] A Google User: Mirror function Great app, would like to see it mirror to my Apple TV like the Webaccess I application. |
[2012-12-07] A Google User: Utter pants As per the rest of the comments, doesn't work. Nexus 7. Un-Installing |
[2012-12-06] A Google User: Awesome product Would like to see SSL some day, but this does everything I I'd get from dropbox/box/drive. |
[2012-12-06] A Google User: Was ok but now its junk I've had and used this app for years. Not sure when there was an update as i had it set to auto update. But like everyone else it now says cannot connect to internet regardless of connection type. Like several others i uninstalled and reinstalled. Still worthless. For now i downloaded a 3rd party ftp app. Please fix it, and while your at it allow functionality of playing a/v directly from webaccess, and allow autoupload to go into subfolders, and allow secure folder access. Please fix this app! |
[2012-11-30] A Google User: Want it to work I have been trying to get it to work so far no luck expected to have access to my new buffalo nas from my droid now i dont know. Will update my review and rating if i can get it to work |
[2012-11-27] A Google User: truly amazing phenomenal work in the entire setup. requires some basic network experience to set it up, but it's rock solid once properly set up. ssl needed for 5 stars, but almost perfect. |
[2012-11-23] A Google User: Wtf I should b asking for my money back for the hard drive as this app doesn't work and even when it did before ics it wasn't the best... Weres the support guys we all paid good money for ur hardware |
[2012-11-14] A Google User: Fail Unable to connect to internet. Galaxt Note 2 |
[2012-11-10] A Google User: Will not connect I tryed everything either 3 G or WiFi and this app will not connect. I can only connect from a computer. |
[2012-11-08] A Google User: Doesn't work Won't work anymore "can't connect to internet ". |
[2012-11-06] A Google User: Now doesn't work Used this on iTouch no issues, Installed on Xperia S worked ok. Since update now doesn't work on either all I get is "Unable to connect to internet" Rang tech services who looked into it ie port open, reset router reset linkstation to default and start again. STILL DOESN'T work. Get it sorted Buffalo |
[2012-11-04] A Google User: Check your server settings! This works very well for me. Make sure ports are forwarded, that you can use webaccess firstly on your local network then remote (to make sure your port settings are correct). If webaccess works this should also. I'm using the Samsung Galaxy S3. If it doesn't work locally check your settings on the Linkstation and if they are okay try restarting it (using the slide switch not resetting power). |
[2012-11-04] A Google User: Was good until last updated After last updated it keeps saying unable to connect to Internet. We please fix |
[2012-10-30] A Google User: Doesn't work Will not connect to internet |

[2012-10-24] A Google User: Not working Would atleast like to have the chance to make up my mind about the app.. At the moment i have the same problem as everyone else, "Unable to connect to internet". |
[2012-10-17] A Google User: GREAT Work great, for those unable to get it work, first need to set port forwarding for ur router and in buffalo set ur desire port and add to ur router. If any changes in buffalo folder example add new folder or set security u need set again the NAS setting to make it work again |
[2012-10-16] A Google User: Working good It does the job with no problems. Thanks! |
[2012-10-16] A Google User: Useless It is not stable on the Android platform. If i cannot access my files on my NAS through this app, then it simply does not work. Regretting buying Buffalo now to be honest. |
[2012-10-12] A Google User: Unable to connect to internet Update broke it, won't work on 3g or wifi now, reinstall made no difference. Dev doesn't seem to care at all, may as well start looking for a new NAS. |
[2012-10-11] A Google User: Not working Will not find linkstation. Buffalonas does. Fix it... |
[2012-10-10] A Google User: HTC One S Does the job |
[2012-10-09] A Google User: Very buggy I have been able to get this to work occasionally but I usually get the error "unable to connect to the internet". I know everything is set up ok because mt other devices can connect ok - there seems to be problems with this app. |
[2012-10-02] A Google User: No ssl Useless, no ssl |
[2012-09-29] A Google User: HTC Sensation Was 4 stars but since last update I only get 'can't connect to internet' message.. please fix. |
[2012-09-29] A Google User: No ssl support 5stars if i can use htpps :) |
[2012-09-27] A Google User: Update mistake Before the last update this app was ideal and did everything I needed it to do, now the app has so many errors and can not access and download from my buffalo nas. In actual fact this app is now useless please fix the problems or revert back before updatethe |
[2012-09-27] A Google User: Useless app since SSL isn't supported This app is useless if you have SSL turned on. So you have a choice between using this app or securing your NAS. I chose security. Make this work with SSL and then it should be good. |
[2012-09-26] A Google User: Unable to connect I am able to connect using the iOS web access but when I tried the android version for my Nexus 7. It keep showing unable to connect to internet. |
[2012-09-21] A Google User: Htc sensation Tried for weeks to get this working, no joy 8( |
[2012-09-05] A Google User: Great app |
[2012-09-02] A Google User: No complaint Motorola ATRIX running Android 2.3.6 for Link Station 2TB LS-X2.0TL. I only use webaccess for simple file up and download to user account restricted folder. I do like the ability to generate temporary links to files, so one-time access can be granted. |
[2012-08-30] A Google User: Works fine. Could use improved audio player. |
[2012-08-20] A Google User: Update broke the app Getting "cannot connect to the internet" error since the last update. Please fix. |
[2012-08-17] A Google User: No internet This version will not connect to the internet on my ATRIX! It worked fine before, disappointed! |
[2012-08-17] A Google User: Works ok If you have bothered to take the time and set up your NAS drive and enabled its webaccess then this works really well, fast and smooth on the S3. It takes 5 minutes to get the online address for your linkstation activated then it's straight forward. Make sure you have actually enabled a folder for web access on the NAS. Not bad for buffalo but could still be better, smoother and faster |
[2012-08-10] A Google User: Worked but now unable to connect to internet When app worked, it was great. Streaming 720p ripped movies and 320kbs music no problem from my Linkstation Pro Duo remotely from anywhere with cell service. Then...it just broke. Keeps timing out. Uninstalled. Reinstalled. Twice. Cannot even add my server now. Keep getting "Unable to connect to internet" pop-up. And its not a problem with the website because I can still access my server remotely by any browser from numerous computers at work and home. Seems like a trend with Buffalo products (I've tried many)...good hardware but terrible software. |
[2012-08-03] A Google User: Ok Only worked after changing my router |
[2012-07-20] A Google User: Works good Xoom |
[2012-07-17] A Google User: CANNOT upload other file types can't upload pdf, rar, etc. Please fix it !!! |
[2012-07-16] A Google User: Good but ... I like the functionality of the app. But it won't let me see the documents unless I'm on WiFi, on 4g it just sits and spins saying Loading . |
[2012-07-15] A Google User: Previous version worked perfectly, this version doesn't work at all. Just keeps failing with 'Unable to connect to internet' message. |
[2012-07-13] A Google User: Crashes on adding NAS Pls fix it |
[2012-07-12] A Google User: Improved At first it didn't worked for me as well. Reinstall fix the issue. Update: It's good if we can choose which folder need auto backup |
[2012-07-11] A Google User: Flawed Could be so good, but buggy and no support for SSL. I'd stick to the browser but even that has download issues. Looks like the only network my storage will attach to is my home one. |
[2012-07-10] A Google User: BuffaloWings Buffalo gives me wings with this handy way to reach my files on the go.It's not hugely feature rich but meets the everyday needs V Handy! |
[2012-07-10] A Google User: Last update broke the app App worked fine until last update. Since then I am also getting the message "Unable to connect to internet" that others reported. This error occurs both on WiFi and 3G. I tried uninstall and re-install with no luck. All other apps connect fine. Please fix. HTC One X. |
[2012-07-05] A Google User: Upload not working Auto upload not working on my HTC sensation Can you fix it plz. |
[2012-07-04] A Google User: Good app After the latest update (4/7/12) the app crashed. I removed and reinstalled, it's up and running again. The app is excellent. Being able to access and upload to the device from anywhere is sweet. |
[2012-07-04] A Google User: Update working Update is working fine for me. Didn't have any problems at all. Samsung Galaxy S2 RCH-760. |
[2012-07-03] A Google User: Was broken, now fixed Latest update broke the app. It wouldn't launch. I reinstalled and everything is fine. I like the new features for photo and video. |
[2012-07-03] A Google User: Need to reinstall Update broke mine also, removed app from device and reinstalled. (Galaxy S2 T989) Working fine. |

[2012-06-28] A Google User: Broken? Motorola Defy / Froyo - reinstalled but says there's no internet connection which is incorrect. |
[2012-06-15] A Google User: Airstation Does not works with airstation using xpera neo. |
[2012-06-07] A Google User: Working well It would be nice if there encryption, but otherwise this app is good and it does what it says. |
[2012-06-03] A Google User: Unable to connect to the internet + SSL Was working fine, but now i have the error "unable t o connect to the internet." Futhermore, It would be really nice if there was SSL support. |
[2012-06-02] A Google User: Doesn't Open in ICS Been a long time since worked properly on my Galaxy Nexus. Now it won't even open... |
[2012-05-23] A Google User: M4a hello? Ok. Shouldn't mix apple and android, but really...it's a nas and I want to access all my files whichever evil empire they came from. |
[2012-05-22] A Google User: SSL Missing The Idea is great... but really? no SSL allowed. That must be joke. If that gets fixed i will give it another try. Meanwhile i go over the mobile webpage which is a bit a pain but still better then sending my private data easy to read for everyone through the internet (a reason why I bought a private nas and don't rely on public cloud services ;-) |
[2012-05-04] A Google User: Getting there Useful media player for my nas |
[2012-04-24] A Google User: Stupid Stupid Hate to be so harsh, but NO SSL SUPPORT! Who's the rocket scientist behind this? Come on guys, this is a very unforgiving age. DON'T TAKE SHORTCUTS. |
[2012-04-19] A Google User: Looks like it might be good, but no SSL? No thanks. Will use web browser |
[2012-04-19] A Google User: No SSL! Developers need to understand smart users want to protect their files. I'm removing this til they wisen up and supportSSL. REMOVE SSL AND TRY AGAIN! You try again! Epic fail. |
[2012-04-16] A Google User: Not impressed Cannot find internet connection errors on HTC one x running ics despite having good connectivity |
[2012-04-12] A Google User: stopped working. stopped working. |
[2012-04-08] A Google User: Waste of time... Buffalo are useless. No SSL is beyond a joke. App is crappy and bugged (need something written in buffalonas box even if not using it. Shite. |

[2012-03-29] A Google User: Figured it out After last update it stopped working, however I uninstalled it, reset my cable modem to use UPnP, reinstalled webaccess, now its working again. |
[2012-03-28] A Google User: SSL Support?! Ditto!! |
[2012-03-19] A Google User: Really not useful without SSL I can't connect to my nas device since I use ssl. It would be pretty dangerous without encryption. |
[2012-03-17] A Google User: Works well on my skyrocket No complaints. Works well. Nice to be able to get my files from my phone. Would be nice if there were more security options. |
[2012-03-16] A Google User: Useless without SSL support Who in their right mind would put their files on the internet without enabling encryption? Application is entirely pointless without support for https. |
[2012-03-08] A Google User: No SSL support? Seriously? |
[2012-03-04] A Google User: Jeez Would be real nice if it stated what the updates were and fix the force close problem so we dont have to uninstall and then install as all settings get lost. Real annoying!!! |
[2012-02-26] A Google User: Keeps force closing after update droid razr. |
[2012-02-24] A Google User: Works After Uninstall It works after uninstalling, and it works well. |
[2012-02-22] A Google User: Fc Force close after latest update |
[2012-02-21] A Google User: Force close Latest update now force close, can't use any more. Nexus ICS. |
[2012-02-20] A Google User: Contacts permissions? Really to access my ns you need my contacts. I don't think so "File not found". What file? No trouble shooting help. Nas works fine via website. Uninstalling |
[2012-02-20] A Google User: Works great!!! After recent update all fc but installing and reinstall fix fc. |

[2012-02-17] A Google User: 再ダウンロード出来ない! アップデートしたらエラーになったので、ソフトを削除して再インストールを試みたが、インストール済みでダウンロード出来ない。便利に使っていたのに(/_;) |
[2012-02-17] A Google User: No to Read Contact Data! Not upgrading - why add Read Contact Data Permission? Inadequate (for me) explanation of security or justification for reading contacts. |
[2012-02-17] A Google User: Contact data? Nope, not upgrading. No good reason to access my contacts. |
[2012-02-17] A Google User: Force closes Force closes |
