Always Great - Does not work on 4.2 I have been using this app for my WDXLTV for a while. Has always worked great, but I upgrade to 4.2.1 the other day and it no longer works. Had to revert back to 4.1.2 to get it to work again. Please update so I can increase the rating from a 4 to a 5.

Great remote, but needs file browser This is fantastic for use as a remote, but it really needs a file browser. I'd absolutely love the ability to control my music when I'm not looking at my tv to see you the song I want to choose.. Implement that, and I'll gladly give 5 stars.. Shouldn't be too hard.

Much better than the factory remote This app is amazing when paired with the wdlxtv firmware. Considering how small and mediocre the factory remote is, this is a lifesaver. It has a keyboard option, and you don't have to point it directly at the WD unit. I was hesitant to buy the full version since the free one was a little buggy, but paying the $1.49 seems to have fixed everything :). A page up/down button would make this version perfect, since navigating large lists can be a little tedious.

Not as pretty as the official app, but it does more, and better. I'd prefer the letters to show up on screen as they are typed instead of having to hit "send."

Free Version Works, Paid one does not! But it does Downloaded the free version to test on my WDTV Live box and it works a treat. So I thought I would buy the ad free version. Not a good idea as at present the Ad Free version just keeps on crashing. I then uninstalled and tried again and now I cannot even get the ap to download. I have emailed the developer but not had a response! Now had a response from Developer and the App now works very well.

great remote app...when it works i bought this donate version as it worked awesome. since then theres been a firmware upgrade on the wdtv, now it just crashes out. the ad version still works, so go figure?

Nearly incredible It is mostly fast and convenient. The only problem I have with it is when I am connecting through the network. I often have to refresh or force the connection. Otherwise, it's fantastic, worth a purchase. Remember how much a universal Remote used to cost?

Great app with some tablet issues Awesome app, been looking for a remote app for my WDTV Live! Only issue I've notices so far is that it crashes on my rooted Nook Color tablet every time I switch to landscape mode. Might be a custom ROM issue though.

Stopped working completely Stopped working after last update which changed how it works completely. Made it useless. So glad I bought it before they broke it. Save your money for something that works. Free is too expensive for this.

Excellent remote! I love the extra features with this remote... the ability to go to any time position in the media being played, and I was surprised we could have volume control on a wdlxtv remote. Very nice app. I hope we get to browse folders with the next release. That would revolutionize playback experience. I would REALLY like the ability to listen to music on my NAS or USB stick without having to turn on my TV to navigate wdtvlx. I'm not sure if this is possible (??) Thank you! WD live streaming remote. I have 2 WD units (1 upstairs and one in the lounge) . This app allows me to control either with my phone better than the original remote's. I did have a problem after one of the upgrades but the developer, Juliojs fixed it in hours. What fantastic service. In short, if you have a WD unit get this, it is cheap, works fantastic and has brilliant developer support. 100% get it.....

Fantastic remote The latest version has "hidden" the power button somewhat -- you need to swipe to the second page of buttons on the right. Once I figured this out, I love this new version (the old version was great, this one is better!) It does everything I could hope for including: volume control with the phone's volume buttons and jumping to a specific time in a video. It does everything the device's original remote should be able to do.

I love this app! Seriously, this is the best $1.43 I've ever spent. Not only is this a great app for my WDTV Live Pluses, but it also helped me find out about the wonderful WDlxTV firmware (if you aren't using it, get it. It's actually a lot easier to get installed than the instructions will lead you to believe, and since I have gotten it, I haven't had a single "Network not Found" error). I didn't know things could be this good. The update to the new format was a wonderful change and things look an work so much better. I r

I luv u man.... If I had your address I'd put you on my Christmas card list Update: Love the rebuild! So much better now. I really appreciate the landscape. Use phone while on elliptical and laying in landscape cover less of the machine display. Option to keep screen on is great for this purpose also. Amazing Update! Hiya, Just had to post a review here to mainly say WHAT AN AMAZING UPDATE! works fluidly, connects to my wdlxtv setup without issue (weirdly the version previous to the new layout wouldn't connect most times) and I have yet to see or have any problem with it! I do however have two feature requests (typical of users to demand more isnt it!) 1/ When the program is started can you add a option to have a icon or something in the pull down menu from the top (perhaps showing whats playing at the time or device status), selecting the program from the notification list would return you to the program. 2/ A option to disable screen rotation in the app would be preferable for me, watching a film and blindly pressing the button to pause it only to find that the button has moved due to screen rotation is a little problem sometimes (nothing big of course but slightly annoying) Again though, fantastic update and well worth the money for the donate version! THANK YOU!
