RockPlayer is high performance, almost all formats media player with a lot of functions. It saves your time and disk space to transcoding or format converting. Just put your video on sdcard or click the URL in browser to watch it.

It load .srt external subtitle with same name of video automatically and support .m3u playlist.

Lite version is advertisement support. Per Google request, we no longer distribute PayPal pay-able version through Google Android Market, existed user please check updates in app setting to get continuous support. Can play ISO files =-) I needed something that could play ISO files so I didnt have to convert them to watch on my Galaxy Nexus. This did the trick with out a problem. No audio lag or dropped frames. So far a great addition and will pay for the full version. Thanks for finally getting a decent media player out there.

V1.7.6 (lite and full) choppy .wmv I upgraded to full version, and .wmv playback is choppy, audio drops, out of sync, and clicking pause on wmv doesn't pause video playback. Seriously consider another player, Rock player is broken, and support is lacking.

Nexus 7 Player works great for avi,m2v, and mpg. First request is to add a playlist and the second request is to have a native explorer; I hav to use ES FileExplorer to find the files I want to play. Tip: I had to restart the OS before the decoding worked.

Plays ISO Images.. nice. I have a lot of movies stored on my NAS box which I have ripped from DVD and have them stored as ISO images, Rock player appears to be the only media player in Android to be able read the ISO image without having to mount them first. Only snag is that it doesn't support the DVD menus, you can see the menu you have no means of selecting anything. This player would be 100% perfect if it handled DVDs better.

Doesnt work with Moto Triumph Heard great things about this app so i dl'd it. No idea what im supposed to use (hardware or software) choice wise, software only works either way. Movie plays for the first fifteen mins then just freezes. Plays fine with vlc on normal pc, so not sure what the problem is. Maybe due to vid being dl'd originally. Either way..... it doesnt work properly!!!

Simply the best I like it because it is simple, plays everything and non gesture one. Keep it like this and away from gesture. Now a days, simple video players are not available in google play. All are complicated.
